Story
Meet Buddha 🐾 Big heart, bigger zoomies, biggest love for life. Buddha just turned 1 year old, and he’s everything you’d expect from a young dog who finally has the chance to enjoy the world—playful, curious, goofy, affectionate, and absolutely bursting with energy. Found on the roadside in a crate with his brother Kobe, Buddha is now ready to leave that past behind and start fresh with humans who will give him the time, patience, and love he needs to grow into the incredible dog he’s meant to be. 💛 A few things about him: • Certified ball of energy and adventure buddy—he’s always down for a walk, hike, or spirited zoom-around 🏞️⚡ • Fetch fanatic and toy lover—playtime is his favorite part of life 🎾🧸 • Sweetheart, loving, and eager to bond—he’s a total attention sponge and people-pleaser 🤗 • Playful and goofy—he brings pure joy and puppy silliness wherever he goes 😄 • Food- and toy-motivated—which makes training both fun and productive 🍪📚 • Manners under construction—he’s smart but young, and he’ll thrive with structure and consistency • Mouthy in a typical puppy way—needs redirection, chew toys, and patient humans 🦴 • Great for vet care and grooming—cooperative and good-natured 🩺✂️ • Learning his leash skills—he’s getting there, one walk at a time 🚶‍♂️ • Good with dogs (based on his bond with Kobe)—needs testing with new dog friends to confirm 🐕 • Social butterfly—loves meeting people and soaking up attention everywhere he goes 🌟 • Active homes preferred—he’ll thrive with adopters who enjoy movement and mental stimulation 🏃‍♂️ • School-aged children only—he’s sweet, but his energy + mouthiness are best suited for older kids 👦👧 • Chew-toy enthusiast—keep the toy basket stocked! 🧺🐾 • Free spirit with a big future—he just needs guidance to become his best self ❤️ Buddha has so much potential—and he’s ready for someone who sees it, believes in him, and is excited to help him grow. He’s not just looking for a home; he’s looking for a teammate, a teacher, and a lifelong adventure partner. 📍 The Center for Animal Health and Welfare PA Kennel License #02941 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
Name is Liberty, 9 year old Husky - Malamute mix. Our family took her in 9 years ago from supposedly a breeder in Indiana and complications from a ex-boyfriend/past relationship. It is unfortunate that we have come to a point we cannot sustain 2 toddlers and other financial demands in our lives along with having a pet. Our extended family also has several health concerns that have kept them from helping the way they have in the past. Along with Adopt a Pet , we are looking for family friends or community to rehome or adopt her. We have considered a lot of options and feel that if you would like to have an older, larger dog as a companion, we would be happy to rehome her. -Long, large, skinny, 50-60 lbs. -No sprayed. -Has lived with cats, other dogs, children from infants to teenagers, male and female figures all her life -Very friendly and easy with people. Good with dogs, may be more guarded with bigger dogs. No bite incidents. -Energetic despite age, though less than when younger

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application   Female HuskyJudy is a female husky surrendered to us with her daughter, Twila, when the owner no longer wanted her. Judy lived outside and is finding that air conditioning is really something else! She is discovering that regular meals are wonderful, that people are kind and that treats are out of this world! Judy is trying hard to keep her kennel clean overnight, she is delighting in long walks around the ponds, pen time to scout out the many wildlife we have on property. She rides well crated in a car, we have not taken her anywhere uncrated, however she does not think that crates are fun to get into-once in she is fine. Judy is older and thus a bit more calm than your average husky, but we cannot promise anything as she has never lived in a home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  December 8, 2025, 8:40 pm
