Story
Piper would be perfect in a home with someone who likes to walk or run. She would be best with older kids. We are sad to rehome Piper, but believe it's best for both her sake and ours. We have two small boys and another baby on the way; our life has changed and we are not able to give her the attention she needs. More importantly, being in constant close proximity to rambunctious boys running around with loud toys has increased her anxiety significantly. She is very loyal and wants to be close to all of us, but that also means close proximity to rambunctious boys and loud toys, which is not the positive stimulation she needs. With work and kids, we cannot give her the attention she deserves. Lately this results in Piper showing anxiety, panting, pacing, etc. We adopted Piper from the Lancaster SPCA in 2018 when she was 8 months old (born Nov 2017). We gave her lots of love, walks, & runs for the last 6 years, but it's time for someone new for her to give her loyalty to.

Story
Hello, my name is Bernard. I'm a shy husky that came to the shelter as a stray. I would love a new home to call my own and a family that can show me how to live my best life. I am a bit nervous at first and need work on walking on leash. Once I warm up I can be very sweet and as a Husky I am sure to have lots of energy. I could do well with another dog with a proper introduction. I do not know how I feel about cats but I am open to try. Do you have room in your home for a pup like me? If the answer is yes then come down to the shelter and lets meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Met the dynamic duo of Calvin and Hobbes.  So much can be said about these two boys.  These adolescent brothers were found roaming around all by themselves, getting into all sorts of mischief and shenanigans! The boys are just over a year old, neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on all vaccines and ready to move in.  We would be thrilled if we could find that unicorn Adopter  that would take both boys.  They could be split up, but would need another young, playful dog in the household. They are friendly with all humans, tiny and large, they are dog friendly, however, their energy level may be too much for a senior.  Cats are unknown, and out of an abundance of caution, we will not place them in a home with cats.  Adoption application:   &#239&#191&#188 https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NARP/Dog   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 York County SC   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 York County SC   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 April 17, 2024, 7:34 am
