He will be arriving to foster care on Oct 1, and we will share more info as we get to know him.  Foster Update: Stay tuned for details.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV, heartworm test if 6 months or older, microchip with lifetime registration, and health certificate. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application< Animal History: Marlo was picked up as a stray in southern California and taken to the high-kill Downey animal shelter where he was placed on the euthanasia list for space. Story
Freya This pretty lady is a sweet soul. She loves her people. She will definitely show you lots of love and attention. She loves kids and would make a great play partner. She is very dog and cat friendly. Although if your cat is runner or spooked easily, she will chase for a fun activity. Freya can jump high, so she requires a yard with a minimum of a 6 ft fence. She would do well with lots of room to roam and play. This chick is up for any adventure, as long as she gets to spend time with her people, her heart will be happy. She will be fully vetted, microchipped and is available to you via ground transport.

Story
Animal Profile: Rocco is an estimated 1-year-old 65 lb mixed breed who was rescued from SBC and arriving to Seattle area foster care on Sunday Feb 11th. At the shelter he was kenneled with other dogs, and assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more info on Rocco as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Updates: Rocco is a stunner! House training has gone great, and he knows to knock at the door to go outside. He's a confident dude, and while he's not leash reactive he'll bark back if another dog tries to give him the business. Rocco gets along well with the large female dog in the house, and is friendly with dogs outside the home. His leash manners are coming along and he walks great! Rocco does have prey drive, and would probably do best in a home without cats. He sleeps soundly through the night and prefers affection over food rewards in training. He'll make a wonderful companion in his forever home! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Rocco was found as a stray in San Bernardino and rescued by Dog Gone Seattle, arriving to Seattle area foster care on 2/11. He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. April 26, 2024, 11:32 am

Story
Animal Profile: Marge is a 10-month-old, 54lb Husky that was running at large for weeks with her sister harassing a farmers calves in Satsop, Wa. They were at risk and one of our wonderful foster families stepped up to take them in and give them a chance. After completing their stray hold, no one came to claim them. Marge was spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and is now ready for adoption! Foster Update:  Marge is what we'd call a starter husky. She has been friendly with every pup and person she’s met. She'll play for days, and would do best in an active home and/or a home with northern breed experience. Marge has made great progress with her leash walking, but can still pull (shocking for a Husky, we know). Marge makes a great hiking buddy and would thrive as a running companion. Marge can be a talker, but she’s mostly quiet in her crate but still likes to sing the song of her people on occasion. Securely fenced yard and sense of humor required. Adoption Info: Marge's adoption fee is $550 which includes her spay, Rabies, 1st DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Marge was found wandering as a stray in Satsop, WA with no collar and no chip, and completed a 30 day stray hold. She is being fostered in the greater Seattle area (Oakville) and is now available for adoption.April 26, 2024, 11:32 am

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Isn’t this boy ABSOLUTELY STUNNING?! Diego has waited quite a while for a foster or forever home! He is a 2-3-year-old Siberian Husky weighing about 55 pounds. He is a very happy and friendly boy who spends his days playing with other dogs in the play yard! Diego is your typical silly and active husky, needing a family that can keep him properly exercised. He is so loving, sweet, and intelligent! He has already learned some basic obedience from his time at the rescue. Diego enjoys time with his people and would make a great adventure buddy! He is good with other dogs but prefers females most of the time. Diego is also an awesome playmate! His preferred forever home would have another female dog around his size so they could tucker each other out. He could, however, be an only dog with continued doggie socialization and play dates. He is not tested with cats. Diego is on the waitlist to be neutered and will be neutered before adoption. He is UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
