Story
We're sadly looking to rehome our 8-year-old neutered male Siberian Husky due to a recent move where we're no longer able to have a dog. He's high-energy, independent, and very social. He's great with children, gets along well with other dogs, loves the dog park, and has basic training. He has not lived with cats or inside a house. He has lived outdoors on a 3 acre fenced lot with an insulated dog house and would do best with a home that has plenty of space.

Or, how about these Huskies in cities near Snohomish, Washington

These Huskies are available for adoption close to Snohomish, Washington.

Story
Animal Information: Maple and her brother Moose were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water. Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care. Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 5 months old. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd. We will be looking for single family homes with securely fenced yard and a canine companion. We are not considering apartment for her at this time. They are now safe and receiving the care they need as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy lives. Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was surrendered to our rescue when after they were rescued by a good samaritan and arrived to foster care on 4/20/26. They will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 15, 2026, 12:49 am

Story
Our dog, Scar, came to us from a good friend in Florida who breeds his breed. We were very grateful because we knew Scar came from a caring and loving home. From the moment we brought Scar home, he showed us what a sweet dog he is. He loves being around people, enjoys getting attention, and is always happy to make new friends. Whether he is playing at the park, going for walks, or relaxing with me and my wife, Scar has a gentle and loving personality. One of the things we love most about Scar is that he is not aggressive at all. He is calm, friendly, and gets along well with everyone he meets. But since we’re in an apartment we feel that the dogs needs are not being met and we want want to give him the best chance at living his beautiful life.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hansel! Hansel is a 3½-year-old, 55 lb Husky/Cattle Dog mix who came to us from a rescue in CA after he and one of his siblings were abandoned. Despite his difficult start, Hansel has remained an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who is ready to find an active family to call his own! This handsome guy is everything you’d expect from a Husky and Cattle Dog mix—smart, athletic, energetic, and always up for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking, running, exploring new trails, or simply getting outside every day, Hansel is looking for a family that can match his active lifestyle and give him plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. Hansel has done well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends, though he prefers slow, thoughtful introductions. He has a rough-and-tumble play style and can be a little growly and grumbly while playing, but it’s simply part of how he communicates during playtime. Like many intelligent working breeds, Hansel is clever and resourceful. He has been known to climb fences, so he’ll need a very secure, escape-proof yard or adopters with a solid management plan to keep him safe. His forever family should be prepared to provide structure, supervision, and continued training to help him thrive. Hansel is a loyal, loving dog with so much to offer the right home. If you’re looking for an adventurous companion who’s always ready to hit the trail, learn something new, and be your partner in every outdoor adventure, Hansel just might be your perfect match! Hansel is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Elvira! This petite 3-year-old, 38lb Siberian Husky is the perfect mix of playful, active, and goofy — everything you’d expect from a husky! Elvira loves people and has been friendly and playful with the other dogs in our care. She’d make an amazing adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, exploring, and spending time outdoors. Like many huskies, Elvira has a curious side and will need a secure 6ft+ wood fence to keep her safely contained — she’s a bit of an escape artist! She’s also quite interested in small critters like squirrels and bunnies, so a home without cats would be the best fit. If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited companion to join you on life’s adventures, Elvira might just be your perfect match! Elvira is spayed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Balto! Balto is a 5½-year-old, 75 lb Husky/White Swiss Shepherd mix with a big heart, a true love for the outdoors, and is ready to find an active, committed family to call his own. Balto is strong, athletic, and full of energy. He would thrive in an adventurous home that enjoys hiking, running, backcountry skiing, and other outdoor activities where he can really stretch his legs and be part of the action. He can be slow to warm up to new people, but is a loyal, sweet companion who forms deep bonds with his people and will be happiest when included in daily life and adventures. He does well with other large dogs but prefers slow, thoughtful introductions. Balto has a strong prey drive and is not a fit for homes with cats, small animals, or small dogs. Balto will also need continued training and structure as he settles into home life, as well as a secure, fully fenced yard in a standalone home. No apartments or condos, please—he would do best in a quieter setting, preferably outside of busy city environments where he has space to relax and decompress. If you’re looking for a loyal, outdoorsy adventure partner who will stick by your side through every trail and every journey, Balto is ready to meet you! Balto is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
