Story
Meet Tonic! Hey everyone, my name is Tonic, and I hope you are ready to board the Hot Mess Express! Choo chooooo! I wasn't really expected to live more than a week, and here I am months later, living the Hot Mess dream. I'm about 10 years old, and all 50 pounds of me is so grateful for this chance to find a forever home. Let's get the good things out of the way first, and then I'll tell you why I'm the conductor of this train! I get along well with other dogs, I don't mind cats, and I could do well with older, respectful kids. I'm house trained, but even though I really try to make it outside when I have to go, sometimes I don't quite get there. I'm going to need a fenced yard with a doggy door at my forever home so I can go out as needed. Otherwise, I'll keep you up all night long. I have some issues that I'd like you to know about before you make your decision about adopting me. Listen real closely because one of us has to listen, and I won't hear a word you say.I have IBD, which means I have to eat prescription food or a commercial food with rabbit. I can't have chicken, beef, or lamb, though. I also have a huge gallstone. I have patches of missing fur, and sometimes I get sores on my toes. I take a medicine called galliprant, which is for my arthritis. And of course, you probably gathered that I'm deaf. All of these things don't slow me down! I'm a husky, and in true husky fashion, I have a bit of sass, and won't hesitate to talk, or even yell at you. I love to lay outside in the cold and snow, but my most favorite thing is destroying cardboard boxes. I know someone will want to love me and let me conduct the train, and I can't wait for the day that they find me so I can have the best time of my life! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Begin your application process by copying this link into your web browser: https://www.albertsdoglounge.org/apply WI Dept. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.

Story
Lancelot came from an Owner who stated they no longer could care for him because they were allergic. We don't know how they treated Lancelot but he does take a little time to warm up to someone and then it's all fun and games. He has been around other dogs and seems to do well more with females than males.May 24, 2023, 6:38 am

Story
Mosa is an active, silly, and super sweet husky. She’ll cuddle you as much as she will challenge you during playing. She loves giving kisses, mostly because her youthful nibbles were turned into kisses. She likes to be aware of her surroundings and the perimeter of the room, yard, etc. She will always chase a cri;er. She will stare you down, learn her stare downs (there is a few different types). She has been known to nap for hours.May 24, 2023, 6:38 am

Story
Blizz (Blizzard) is a timid yet playful little white ball of joy! This little guy is all around cute and too funny! While he is friendly (& dog friendly), he does need a bit of time to warm up. No sudden movements around this guy - he needs lots of love and patience. Blizz thinks he’s one of the bigs and roughhouses with his three huskies friends at his foster home. He loves his toys and will hangout on the couch solo, playing; but you may catch him occasionally watching tv. He isn’t really the cuddly type but he is getting used to pets and sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog. Blizz is very attentive and will come when called. He is great in the car! But he is still working on being less fearful getting into the car (he’s getting there)! He’s still learning that things are OK and he’s safe. Blizz is still young and he is still working crate training and potty training but is doing very well at both. He cries to let his foster momma know he’s gotta go! This fun loving guy is overall very chill dude! Is he the perfect match for your family? Apply today to meet him!May 24, 2023, 6:38 am
