Story
Blue is a girl with magnetic eyes and a fiercely loyal heart. She is a 1 year old mixed breed dog looking for someone to have fun with all day, and snuggle up against at night. Blue is slower to warm up to new people, but she is just a handful of treats and some patience away from being your best friend. Once you are best buds, she will turn into the biggest lap dog and will not hesitate to ask you for a belly rub. Blue has previously gotten along with other dogs and cats, and would love a household with kids 8 and older. Don’t pass this girl up, she’s a steal!

Story
Lily have never met a stranger and she’s pretty sure everyone she meets is her new best friend! This adorable, happy-go-lucky girl has a sweet, easygoing personality that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Lily is expected to grow into a big girl, around 75–90 pounds, but don’t let her future size fool you, she’s wonderfully low-key and has a true “go with the flow” attitude. She’s happy to hang out, soak up some love, and enjoy whatever the day brings. And when we say Lily loves everyone, we mean everyone! She enjoys the company of dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful potential addition to a family with other pets or kids. She’s affectionate, friendly, and just genuinely happy to be included. If you’re looking for a big-hearted pup with a laid-back personality, a sunny disposition, and lots of love to give, Lily might be your girl. She’s ready to find her forever family and bring a whole lot of happiness along with her! This animal is fostered in: Racine, WI ~ Applicant must be willing to commute to this area for a meet and greet. For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Jax is looking for a new home after being surrendered back to Mutt Life Dog Rescue. He originally came to Wisconsin in March 2025 and was adopted by his current owner, but due to recent lifestyle changes, she is no longer able to give Jax the time, exercise, and mental stimulation he needs. Meet Jax Jax is an approximately 2-year-old Husky mix with a fun, happy personality and lots of love to give. He is a friendly, medium-energy boy who enjoys staying active and being included in daily life. Jax loves going for walks, playing fetch, and is especially obsessed with balls. He is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash, making him an easy companion to bring along on adventures. Jax is also a smart boy who already knows commands like sit, down, and shake. Jax is great with other dogs and has done well with children. Because he can get excited when meeting new people and is still working on not jumping up to say hello, older kids would likely be the best fit for him. He is an all-around social, affectionate dog who loves attention and activity. With continued consistency and outlets for both physical exercise and mental enrichment, Jax will make an excellent companion for an active family or individual. Jax has not been cat tested. Age: Approximately 2 years Gender: Male Weight: 45lbs Breed: Husky mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Yes, older kids preferred Vaccines/Vetting: Up to date Jax is ready for his next chapter and would love a home that can continue giving him the exercise, structure, and attention he deserves. If you can foster or adopt Jax, please apply today. www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate). The adoption fee is up to the discretion of Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS. AFTER ALL, THIS IS MUTT LIFE DOG RESCUE.. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it’s the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too! **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
