Story
Apollo the Mixed Breed Puppy’s Story Apollo is an adorable 8-week-old pup with the most striking black-and-white coat and the cutest speckled legs! His unique markings and sweet expression make him impossible to overlook. He is currently small for his age, and we anticipate he will grow into a medium sized adult. One of the siblings from this litter, Artemis, had a DNA test done and the results showed a fun mix of breeds! The puppies in this litter are a blend of Siberian Husky (34%), American Staffordshire Terrier (24%), Labrador Retriever (22%), and American Pit Bull Terrier (20%). As with most mixed-breed puppies, each sibling may show different traits from their genetic mix, but they all share one thing in common — they’re 100% lovable puppies ready to find their homes. Apollo is a friendly, playful little guy who is just starting to explore the world around him. Like all young puppies, he will need a family committed to continuing his potty training, crate training, and basic manners as he grows. He’s at the perfect age to bond closely with his new family and learn the routine of his forever home. He is working hard on potty training, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Story
About Me: Name: Tatiana, Anastasia, Nadia Breed (or best guess): Mix breeds (maybe Husky, Corgi, Pomeranian) Approximate Age: 8 months Gender: Female Approximate Weight: 16 lb on 2/7/26 Adoption Fee: $495 each Requirements: Loving and patient family Why In Rescue:  Texas Transfer Profile:   Tatiana, Anastasia, and Nadia (adopted) are littermates who came to us from Texas.  They are happy, playful and loving girls waiting for a loving and patient families.  We don't get a history or background on the dogs, so are learning more about them everyday.  They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies, heartworm and tick tested and started on prevention, had a health exam, and microchipped.  If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS March 7, 2026, 6:42 pm

Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Chad Needs a Foster or Adopter by 3/21/26 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Chad is currently in a kill shelter in Georgia and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on the 3/21/26 transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Chad Chad is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky who is ready for a fresh start. He came into the shelter as a stray and, sadly, no one came to reclaim him. Now he’s hoping someone will give him the second chance he deserves. Chad is a silly, goofy boy with a sweet and affectionate personality. He absolutely loves belly rubs and hugs and can be just a bit of a velcro dog — happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s very treat motivated, which makes him eager to learn and fun to work with. In new situations, Chad can be a little unsure and may do an adorable belly crawl while he builds confidence. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines. He enjoys playing with other dogs and tends to be more submissive during play, especially with his friend Karen. He would likely do well with another friendly dog. Cats and kids are currently unknown. Chad weighs 45 lbs, is heartworm negative, and is not yet neutered. He has decent leash manners and, like any young husky, will benefit from continued structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement training. Age: 1 year Gender: Male (not yet neutered) Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky Spayed/Neutered: No Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Unsure Chad is available for the 3/21/26 transport and is ready to keep moving forward. He would love a foster or adoptive home to help make that happen. If you’re able to foster or adopt, please apply today. www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
