Story
Haitchi is a stunning husky. For his big size he may seem scary but overall, he is just a big cuddle butt. He will somehow find a way to lay on you even if it’s cramped. He LOVES human attention & will do anything for it. Haitchi tends to do better with female dogs rather than male since he was neutered recently so he gets dominant with males. For a husky Haitchi is surprisingly not that loud & is pretty chill in the house. He does get very excited for walks & is an escape artist.Apply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538

Lilah is 5 years old born April 26 2000 she doesn’t take long to become comfortable with you and is a very good Girl!! Can be nippy and territorial at times but she will not harm you!! She loves to go on runs and love to play. Reason I am setting her up for adoption is because I am a blue collar worker and constantly working out of town I feel as if she deserve a home that can spend more Time with her. It’s just become more of a struggle for the both of us.

For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ ADOPTION FEE SPONSORSHIP offered for SHEEBA or SHEEBA AND HER BUDDY SCOOBY! Meet Sheeba Sheeba is a sweet senior girl who made it safely to Wisconsin and is settling in nicely in her foster home! She’s reunited with her friend Scooby and couldn’t be happier. Sheeba is an easy-peasy girl who just wants to hang out, get pets, and enjoy all the love her foster family has to offer. Unfortunately, Sheeba and Scooby were “found as strays” and dropped off at the shelter. They looked well cared for, and with their matching collars and leashes, it was clear they weren’t strays at all — they were someone’s beloved dogs who were sadly left at the shelter. Scooby was able to come up on our transport in October, but Sheeba had to stay behind to finish her heartworm treatment, as she tested positive when she arrived at the shelter. She’s still completing her treatment but was able to make the trip to Wisconsin safely and is now thriving in her foster home. From a rough start to a second chance, Sheeba is thriving. She enjoys quiet companionship, gentle play, and soaking up attention. Sheeba is also working on the basics of dog life, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners — but her easygoing personality makes it all a breeze. We would absolutely love to find a forever home where "Scooby and Sheeba can stay together" and live out their days as best friends. To make this extra special, we’re offering a discounted adoption for both dogs together. Meet April April’s story is one of survival and quiet resilience. This approximately 2.5-year-old Husky/Pit mix came to the shelter as part of a neglect case. Before her former owner could attend court, they were evicted and surrendered April to the shelter. She had been living outdoors in freezing conditions, with only a tiny metal trash can for shelter when temperatures dropped to 19 degrees. Despite everything she’s been through, April is described by shelter staff as a truly great dog. She is friendly, well-mannered, and gets along wonderfully with both male and female dogs, showing no issues during interactions. April has a calm, steady presence and seems grateful for kindness, making her a lovely companion for a variety of homes. Weighing about 55 lbs, April is heartworm negative and has her spay scheduled. She’s ready to leave her past behind and finally experience the comfort, safety, and love she has always deserved. Age: Approximately 2.5 years Gender: Female (spay scheduled) Weight: Approximately 55 lbs Breed: Husky / Pit mix (best guess) Spayed/Neutered: Scheduled Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes (male and female) Good with Cats: Unsure Good with Kids: Yes April has already endured so much and remained a gentle, loving dog through it all. She deserves a warm home, a soft place to rest, and people who will never give up on her. Could that be you? Story
🐾 Meet Kevin! 🐾 Kevin is a 11-month-old Great Pyrenees/husky/shepherd mix. Kevin is a lovable, people-oriented pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. With his gentle nature and sweet personality, he wins over everyone he meets. He’s very food-motivated (treats are definitely the key to his heart!) and happily trots into his crate—especially if there’s a snack involved. Kevin enjoys playing with his dog friends, going on longer walks to explore the world, and curling up for cozy naps on his bed. He truly believes he’s a lap dog and will gladly snuggle up if you let him. While Kevin is well-behaved and keeps his paws to himself, he does have a silly streak—he loves ripping up paper and big stuffed toys. Give him a durable plush, and he’ll be entertained for ages! Kevin would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal companion with a goofy, affectionate spirit. If you’re looking for a friendly dog who brings both fun and snuggles, Kevin is your guy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. He is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. 🐕✨ 📍 Apply here: www.forrescue.net

Story
Meet Kavik, a beautiful 2-year-old, 50 lb. Chow Chow. Kavik already has many positive characteristics but will need an experienced adopter with an adult only home who will understand & meet his unique needs given his breed & experiences in life thus far. Kavik was a stray in Texas for many months, evading all attempts to catch him, until eventually being trapped. During his time on the run, Kavik experienced being hit by a car & negative interactions with other stray dogs. He’s extremely nervous when leaving his foster home. Kavik very much enjoys the dogs of all sizes in his foster home and would love to have a confident friend in his forever home. He showed little interest when briefly exposed to a cat. He's your typical Chow Chow: stubborn, loyal to his people, protective, and wary of strangers. He spends most of his time resting but has the perfect amount of playfulness with toys & other dogs. A fenced in yard is a requirement to adopt Kavik as he's an extreme flight risk.
