Story
Haitchi is a stunning husky. For his big size he may seem scary but overall, he is just a big cuddle butt. He will somehow find a way to lay on you even if it’s cramped. He LOVES human attention & will do anything for it. Haitchi tends to do better with female dogs rather than male since he was neutered recently so he gets dominant with males. For a husky Haitchi is surprisingly not that loud & is pretty chill in the house. He does get very excited for walks & is an escape artist.Apply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538

Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
About Me: Name: Tatiana, Anastasia, Nadia Breed (or best guess): Mix breeds (maybe Husky, Corgi, Shepherd) Approximate Age: 8 months Gender: Female Approximate Weight: 16 lb on 2/7/26 Adoption Fee: $495 each Requirements: Loving and patient family Why In Rescue:  Texas Transfer Profile:   Tatiana, Anastasia, and Nadia are littermates who came to us from Texas.  They are happy, playful and loving girls waiting for a loving and patient families.  We don't get a history or background on the dogs, so are learning more about them everyday.  They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies, heartworm and tick tested and started on prevention, had a health exam, and microchipped.  If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS February 9, 2026, 7:38 pm

Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ ADOPTION FEE SPONSORSHIP offered for SHEEBA or SHEEBA AND HER BUDDY SCOOBY! Meet Sheeba Sheeba is a super sweet senior lady who made it safely to Wisconsin in December and is now ready to find her forever home where she can spend the rest of her days surrounded by love. She was found as a “stray” in Georgia alongside her best friend, Scooby, and heartbreakingly ended up in a kill shelter. Despite appearing well cared for—with matching collars and leashes—it was clear these two weren’t truly strays, but beloved dogs left behind. Scooby was able to travel north earlier, but Sheeba had to stay behind to complete heartworm treatment after testing positive at the shelter. She handled her treatment like a champ and is now healthy, thriving, and finally reunited with Scooby in her Wisconsin foster home. Sheeba may be a senior, but she still has plenty of life and love left to give. She is incredibly easygoing, quiet, and rarely barks. She does wonderfully at vet appointments, never meets a stranger, and settles beautifully once she feels comfortable in her environment. Sheeba enjoys gentle companionship, soaking up pets, and simply being near her people. She is fully potty trained, crate trained (though she doesn’t need a crate), and walks well on a leash, making her an easy addition to any home. She is friendly with other dogs, does well with kids, and according to the shelter, is not a good fit for a home with cats. Sheeba would love to be adopted with her pal Scooby, and we would be thrilled to see them stay together. However, it is not required, and Sheeba would also do wonderfully in a loving home of her own. From a rough beginning to a well-deserved second chance, Sheeba is a low-key, super-duper sweet girl ready to write her happily-ever-after. After everything she has endured, she is finally experiencing safety, warmth, and consistency—and she’s settling in beautifully. Meet April April’s story is one of survival and quiet resilience. This approximately 2.5-year-old Husky/Pit mix came to the shelter as part of a neglect case. Before her former owner could attend court, they were evicted and surrendered April to the shelter. She had been living outdoors in freezing conditions, relying on a tiny metal trash can for shelter when temperatures dropped to 19 degrees. Despite her past, April is described as a truly great dog by everyone who meets her. She is friendly, loving and is always trying to please her people. She loves to follow her foster around the hosue all day and watches trying to figure out what you are doing. She is very smart, treat motivated and eager to please her people. She will be an easy one to train and learn new tricks. April is dog friendly and gets along with the 4 other dogs in her foster home and has been great in a larger play group. She is more of a dominant female. She is 90% potty trained and will likely be completely potty trained soon. She is good in her crate and doesn't chew on any of the blankets. She will work more on leash walking when the weather gets a little warmer. She recently went shopping in a Sierra store and was a really good girl, so good that a little girl even had her pick out some dog treats. She does great with kids, but might be better for older kids since she could bump into them. She LOVES to get attention and give kisses. She is working on not jumping. She will sleep all night in a crate in your room, or her preference- in bed snuggled up with you. She has done fine with the 2 resident cats at her foster home. Now that she’s arrived in Wisconsin, April is adjusting well and continuing to show what a special girl she is. She’s enjoying the comforts she was once denied and is ready to find either a foster or forever home where she can fully thrive. April at a Glance Age: Approximately 1 year old Gender: Female Weight: Approximately 55 lbs Breed: Husky / Pit mix (best guess) Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes April has already endured so much and remained a gentle, loving dog through it all.
