Story
Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!

Story
Titus is a handsome little puppy who is about 9 weeks old. We were told his mom was a mini husky or klee kai, but his father is unknown. He does have short legs and a longer back, which makes us think he may have some dachshund, corgi or basset in him! Titus is a friendly and spunky boy who has lots of love to give. He is excited to come to Wisconsin and experience lots of love, attention and snow! He enjoys people of all ages and playing with other dogs. He is doing great on his potty training, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI as he is just a young puppy. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He is being fostered in Union Grove, WI. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
My name is Denver, it's no surprise I have a big personality, & I want to meet YOU!!! I'm about 2 years old & 60 lbs, I'm pretty sure I'm a full breed Husky, & you know what that means?!? ❗️FUN❗️I can be full of dramatic gestures, but I'm very attached to my people, I've been known to throw myself in front of you, roll on my back, & remind you I need belly scratchies (I like to add flair where I can). I'd do best in a home with another dog buddy &/or some children to be my friends. I'm a playful guy who loves all kinds of toys, playing fetch for a bit, playing with my doggy friends of all sizes, & especially 💦water💦!! I already know a few basic commands, I ride really well in the car, & I've just graduated to being trusted to sleep where I want at night & I choose my crate with the door open. I get along great with other dogs & adore meeting new people. But NO CATS!! I lived in TX with a nice family, I did really well with their children & other dogs - but my fascination with the cats meant I had to find a new place to live. I got to hang out with some kids this weekend 4+ years old, & I was in heaven, I was so gentle & belly crawled to get on their level (after a few nose kisses). And I haven't had an accident in the house for awhile, I just need some time to get settled. I'm a super smart guy with a big sense of humor, I like to test you to see if you mean what you say, so I'll need strong leadership & would love to do more training so I can be the best boy ever!! Now that I've told you about me, please submit your application so we can meet & get started on the ❗️FUN❗️DATCP#483538

Story
Max came to me by way of Texas from a family that found out that the wife and daughter were allergic to him. I got Max this past August and he is now 19 months old. Max is super friendly and very, very smart. He loves to walk, run and play and requires a lot of attention. It's hilarious to hear him talk back when he can't have his way. My 10yr old smaller dog and 7yr old cats see him as a giant. Max wants nothing more than to play with them, unfortunately the smaller animals see him as a threat.
