Meet Pearl – Your Future Best Friend! Name: Pearl Age: About 4 months Sex: Female Spayed: Not yet Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brown Current Weight: 10.2kg Rescue Story Pearl was born in a city shelter after her mother was brought in. Thankfully, mom and puppies were rescued together and are now looking for loving homes. ‍‍‍ With People Pearl is affectionate and friendly—not only with familiar faces but also with strangers. She currently lives with a child under 13 and does very well. She may be a bit shy in new places at first, but she warms up quickly, especially with treats. She’s comfortable being picked up (you can place your arm under her belly) and even shows her belly to people she’s just met. With Other Dogs Pearl is currently in foster care without other dogs, so her direct socialization with dogs is limited. However, her siblings are all very sociable with other dogs, so we expect Pearl will also get along well with canine friends. With Cats She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but we can arrange a cat test if needed. Energy Level Pearl is relatively calm. When people are home, she’ll entertain herself quietly with her toys. As a puppy, she can get a bit mischievous if left alone for too long, chewing on things out of boredom. Lots of chew toys will help! A walk or outdoor play helps her settle down nicely at home. Walks & Leash Behavior Pearl can pull on the leash and tends to stop and sniff frequently—she’s more into exploring scents than speed-walking! She’s fine walking in quiet areas but still gets nervous around heavy traffic or noisy roads. Other Notes She shows no signs of food aggression toward humans or dogs. When left alone, she might cry or whimper at first but eventually settles and falls asleep. She rarely barks and is not yet comfortable getting into a car—she prefers being carried in. She’s currently trained to go potty both indoors on pads and outside. Pearl is looking for a family who can give her patience, structure, and lots of love. Thanks to her resilience and gentle spirit, she is now ready for her very own forever family.   Personality & Temperament   Dao is a calm, gentle, and thoughtful companion. She may be shy at first, but with a kind hand and a few treats, she warms up. Once she trusts you, she shows her love with tail wags, affection, and quiet companionship. • With People: Dao prefers a calm approach rather than sudden movements. She is not a dog who enjoys being scooped up, but she allows it if necessary. She is most comfortable when you sit beside her and gently stroke her—this is when she shows her sweetest side. With children under 13, she may feel nervous around sudden noises or fast movements, so a quieter home is ideal. • With Other Dogs: Dao politely greets other dogs but isn’t the playful wrestling type. She: • Loves sniffing around and rolling on artificial grass. • Chooses calm walks over running on hot days but enjoys short playful runs in cooler weather. • Can get startled by fast-moving objects (like a swinging racket), but she calms quickly when reassured. • Loves soft fabric nosework mats and enjoys playing with plush toys or chasing gently indoors.   Other Notes • Car rides: Still learning—she prefers the floor space of the back seat and is getting more comfortable. • Bathing/Grooming: Not her favorite, but she tolerates baths calmly. Meet Seoa 4 years | Spayed Female | 6.5 kg | 24 cm | Ivory | Mixed Breed   Seoa was born in December 2021 after a family dog in a small village gave birth to a litter of puppies. Sadly, the owner surrendered the puppies to a local shelter, where they were put on the euthanasia list. Seoa was rescued just in time — and she’s been waiting patiently for a loving family ever since   Personality   Seoa is an affectionate, gentle girl who loves human company. She happily approaches both familiar and new people, leans in for pets, and often rolls over right away to show her belly. She’s comfortable being touched and handled — you can even lift her by gently placing your arms under her belly. She’s sweet with both men and women. Although she hasn’t met children under 13, her calm and friendly nature suggests she’d do very well with them.   With Other Dogs   Seoa greets other dogs politely but doesn’t usually engage in play. She isn’t afraid of bigger dogs and will simply walk away if another dog is too energetic. If a dog gets pushy, she can express mild displeasure — but she never starts fights.   With Cats   Cat-testing can be arranged.   Energy Level   Low. She happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubbing her body against them and allowing gentle touches with ease. She fully accepts children under 13 and currently lives in a home with kids.   She’s comfortable being lifted (even with arms placed under her belly), and she warms up instantly to people of all ages and genders. She even shows her belly to strangers and lets people she meets on walks pet her tummy — she is that sweet and trusting!   With Other Dogs   Crystal has a friendly and social nature with dogs of all sizes. She confidently approaches new dogs, politely says hi, and invites them to play. She currently lives with an adult dog much bigger than her and gets along beautifully.   If another dog shows aggression, Crystal simply walks away — she avoids conflict and chooses peace.   With Cats   No direct observation yet, but cat testing can be arranged.   Energy Level   Crystal has a medium energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities, exploring, and playtime, but after that she settles quietly and rests well. She’s healthy, safe, and ready for adoption!   ‍‍ Social with People   Samsoon can be a little shy at first, but offer her a treat — and she warms up quickly! She allows handling, enjoys belly rubs, and even shows her tummy to new people. She hasn’t met young kids yet, but based on her gentle nature, she’s expected to do well. She loves sleeping close to her humans — often with her head on the pillow or curled up by your feet. She sometimes pees a little from excitement when greeting family, but this is improving with time.   Social with Dogs   Friendly, curious, and playful! He happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubs his body to them, and allows petting easily. If you have treats, he’ll sit politely in front of you and wait with the sweetest eyes. He’s still very much a puppy—playful, goofy, and incredibly attached to his foster mom (a true velcro boy!).   He has not met children under 13 yet, but he allows being picked up with arms under his belly and likes showing his tummy once he’s bonded with you.   Dog Socialization   Mond is friendly and confident when meeting other dogs. He loves greeting both familiar and new dogs and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes—bigger dogs, same-sized dogs, and even smaller ones. He has a playful, easygoing nature and gets along well with high-energy dogs too. If another dog tries to provoke him, he usually chooses to avoid conflict.   Cats   Outdoors, Mond shows curiosity when he sees cats or birds. During a cat test with a household cat, he calmly approached and sniffed politely. Cat test passed.   Energy Level   Moderate. He enjoys outdoor activities, playtime, and sniffing adventures, but he settles down well afterward. Mond loves his naps!   Walks   He can pull on the leash at times, but he generally follows his handler well. His foster has been practicing “check-in walking” (maintaining eye contact with treats), and he is learning nicely. He tends to focus on sniffing—stopping, walking, sniffing, stopping—so he benefits from continued structured walk training.
