Story
Delos is a sweet dog, very loyal and affectionate. With a loud bark, he is also a good guard dog; his genetic profile explains why. He weighs 75-80 pounds and loves food, especially cheese. Sniffing everything on the path is his favorite activity on walks. Delos was born in late 2015. He was adopted from a rescue organization in October 2016. He needs to be rehomed because his family is moving. They are sad and want a good home for him. A home with a yard and a place to lay out and relax in the sun would be ideal. Like many humans, Delos gets anxious and has been more relaxed since he went on daily doses of Prozac in 2024. He was probably abused as a puppy; he flinches whenever someone goes to pet him on the top of his head. He loves belly rubs! Sometimes Delos is reactive to other dogs; he has some fear-based aggression. He has lived with two other dogs – both females - and loves being part of a pack. It makes life more interesting for an intelligent dog like him.

Story
Cola Name: Cola Age: 8 months Sex: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Black Weight: 18 kg Height (at shoulder): 65 cm   Rescue Story Cola was rescued from a scrapyard together with his siblings Maru, Pepper, and Milky. Despite his rough start, Cola has grown into a loving and affectionate young dog who truly enjoys being close to people.   Personality & Temperament Cola is a very affectionate and social boy. He happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubbing against them and allowing gentle handling. He loves human attention and often shows his belly when he feels comfortable — sometimes even to people he has just met.   He generally feels more comfortable around women and can be a bit fearful of men. Sudden movements or loud noises from children under 13 can make him uneasy, so a calm, dog-savvy home would be best for him.   With other dogs, Cola is friendly and playful. He approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs with curiosity and a “let’s be friends” attitude.   ‍ On Walks & Outdoors Cola has a moderate to high energy level and needs plenty of outdoor exercise in order to relax indoors. He walks on leash but does tend to pull and is more focused on sniffing than walking in a straight line, often stopping and starting to explore scents.   He is comfortable walking in quiet areas but can be nervous around busy roads with a lot of traffic.   When he sees cats, he looks at them with curiosity but will follow his handler when guided.   Home & Daily Life • Does not guard food from people or other dogs • Can be picked up by slipping an arm under his belly • Knows how to get in and out of a car by himself • Mostly does his potty outside • Very gentle and sweet-natured   Cola is a loving, playful, and affectionate young dog who will thrive with an adopter willing to give him both exercise and reassurance as he continues to grow into his confident adult self.   Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Story
Mango  Name: Mango Age: 6 months Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Black Weight: 8 kg Height: 43 cm (measured to shoulder) Rescue Story: Rescued from euthanasia in a city shelter   ‍‍ People Socialization Mango is a very affectionate and people-friendly puppy. He approaches both familiar people and strangers happily, leaning in for pets and allowing gentle handling with ease. In new environments, he may be slightly shy at first and will stay close to someone he knows, but once he feels comfortable, he warms up quickly—especially if treats are involved! He does wonderfully with children under 13 and is comfortable being picked up by placing an arm under his belly. When he sleeps, he often lies on his back showing his belly, which is one of his cutest habits    Dog Socialization Mango is friendly with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs and enjoys greeting and inviting them to play. He is especially comfortable with dogs of similar or larger size. While he is not overly dependent on other dogs, being around them helps him relax more quickly. Very high-energy dogs can sometimes feel overwhelming for him.    Cats Mango has been living with a cat for the past three months. On walks, he may look at cats out of curiosity, but he follows human guidance well and does not fixate.    Energy Level Mango has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but settles down nicely afterward and rests calmly in his own space. His excitement level tends to increase when he is around other dogs rather than when he is alone.    Leash & Walks Mango is still gaining walking experience and would benefit from continued leash training. He may try to walk in the direction he prefers, and when gently restrained, he sometimes sits down in protest. If he encounters something scary, he may stop or lie down. He is very scent-focused and tends to stop and start frequently to sniff rather than walk continuously.    Additional Notes • No food guarding toward people • May growl if another dog approaches while he is eating, but this does not escalate into fights • Shows demand barking when he wants something • Calm and well-behaved in a crate • Knows how to get in and out of a car on his own • Currently uses both indoor pee pads and goes potty outdoors    Mango is a sweet, gentle puppy who would thrive with a family willing to continue his training and help him gain confidence in the world. With patience, guidance, and love, he will grow into a wonderful companion.   If you’re interested in adopting Mango, please apply and help him find his forever home Apply to adopt or foster : https://adoptmekr.org: Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram, Currently in Korea Available for adoption to Canada & the U.S. ##2610765##

Story
Meet Bella   Name: Bella Age: 6 months Sex: Spayed female Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brindle Weight: 9 kg Height: 42 cm (shoulder)   Rescue Story   Bella wandered into a rural elementary school in Korea, where she played happily with young children. Someone reported her, and she was taken to a municipal shelter. From there, she was rescued and is now safe and ready for her forever home   With People   Bella is extremely affectionate and friendly. She happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, enjoys being petted, and loves physical affection. She is wonderful with children under 13 and can be comfortably picked up and carried. She often rolls over and shows her belly — even to people she has just met.   With Other Dogs   Bella is very social with other dogs. She greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs happily and invites them to play. Even when other dogs are rough or bossy, she tends to just tolerate it rather than react. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and plays nicely even with high-energy dogs.   With Cats   She has not been officially tested with cats yet, but she seems likely to do well and can be tested if needed.   Energy Level   Bella has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and playtime, but after exercise she relaxes and rests calmly.   Leash & Walking   Bella is still learning to walk on leash and tends to pull, especially because she loves to stop and sniff. She does well in quiet areas but is still a bit nervous around busy roads with traffic.   At Home   • No food guarding with people or dogs • No separation anxiety • Rarely barks, though she may bark at strangers sometimes • Calm and quiet in her crate • Needs to be carried into the car because she is afraid to jump in • Uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty   What Makes Bella Special   Bella is a gentle, loving, and social young dog who truly adores people and other dogs. She has a soft heart, an easygoing nature, and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a sweet, well-rounded dog Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Story
Meet Pearl – Your Future Best Friend! Name: Pearl Age: About 4 months Sex: Female Spayed: Not yet Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brown Current Weight: 10.2kg Rescue Story Pearl was born in a city shelter after her mother was brought in. Thankfully, mom and puppies were rescued together and are now looking for loving homes. ‍‍‍ With People Pearl is affectionate and friendly—not only with familiar faces but also with strangers. She currently lives with a child under 13 and does very well. She may be a bit shy in new places at first, but she warms up quickly, especially with treats. She’s comfortable being picked up (you can place your arm under her belly) and even shows her belly to people she’s just met. With Other Dogs Pearl is currently in foster care without other dogs, so her direct socialization with dogs is limited. However, her siblings are all very sociable with other dogs, so we expect Pearl will also get along well with canine friends. With Cats She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but we can arrange a cat test if needed. Energy Level Pearl is relatively calm. When people are home, she’ll entertain herself quietly with her toys. As a puppy, she can get a bit mischievous if left alone for too long, chewing on things out of boredom. Lots of chew toys will help! A walk or outdoor play helps her settle down nicely at home. Walks & Leash Behavior Pearl can pull on the leash and tends to stop and sniff frequently—she’s more into exploring scents than speed-walking! She’s fine walking in quiet areas but still gets nervous around heavy traffic or noisy roads. Other Notes She shows no signs of food aggression toward humans or dogs. When left alone, she might cry or whimper at first but eventually settles and falls asleep. She rarely barks and is not yet comfortable getting into a car—she prefers being carried in. She’s currently trained to go potty both indoors on pads and outside. Pearl is looking for a family who can give her patience, structure, and lots of love. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet soul into your home, don’t wait—apply to adopt Pearl today! https://adoptmekr.org/adoption-application/ Currently in Korea, available for adoption in / You can also check out her post on our Facebook Link to Post or Instagram Link to Post! ##2452305##

Meet Mond — Your Sweet, Gentle Jindo Mix Puppy! Currently in Toronto   Name: Mond Age: 8 months Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 23.8kg Height (shoulder): 58cm   Personality & People Socialization   Mond is a social, affectionate, and people-loving pup! He happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubs his body to them, and allows petting easily. If you have treats, he’ll sit politely in front of you and wait with the sweetest eyes. He’s still very much a puppy—playful, goofy, and incredibly attached to his foster mom (a true velcro boy!).   He has not met children under 13 yet, but he allows being picked up with arms under his belly and likes showing his tummy once he’s bonded with you.   Dog Socialization   Mond is friendly and confident when meeting other dogs. He loves greeting both familiar and new dogs and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes—bigger dogs, same-sized dogs, and even smaller ones. He has a playful, easygoing nature and gets along well with high-energy dogs too. If another dog tries to provoke him, he usually chooses to avoid conflict.   Cats   Outdoors, Mond shows curiosity when he sees cats or birds. During a cat test with a household cat, he calmly approached and sniffed politely. Cat test passed.   Energy Level   Moderate. He enjoys outdoor activities, playtime, and sniffing adventures, but he settles down well afterward. Mond loves his naps!   Walks   He can pull on the leash at times, but he generally follows his handler well. His foster has been practicing “check-in walking” (maintaining eye contact with treats), and he is learning nicely. He tends to focus on sniffing—stopping, walking, sniffing, stopping—so he benefits from continued structured walk training. Overall: smart, trainable, and improving every day!   Additional Behaviors • No resource guarding toward people • May growl if another dog approaches his food, but has never fought • Rarely barks, except at night when startled by loud noises or unfamiliar objects • Excellent in the kennel; settles quietly • Jumps into and out of the car on his own and loves car rides • Currently pottying outdoors • Has mild separation anxiety — he may whine initially when left alone but settles after a short while. He’s trying so hard to be brave, and with patience, consistency, and bonding, he improves continuously.   Mond is a sweet, eager-to-learn boy who shines with gentle guidance and steady routines. With a patient family who can teach, reassure, and love him, he will flourish beautifully. Send in your application through our website!  Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram.   ##2593998##
