Meet Oreo! Oreo is a handsome LabraDoodle that weighs 45 pounds and is 1 year old. Oreo has a true love for life that he is happy to show to anyone that will let him! He loves to run and play and has lots of energy to do those things with. Since Oreo does have lots of energy it would be best if he is in a home with no young children unless the time is given right away to have a trainer work on jumping. He really loves the littles but is just a big goofball and may accidently knock them over and hurt them. Oreo has done really well with the other dogs he has met as long as they don't mind dogs that really like to play with them, he may be a bit much for a very low energy dog. Oreo knows a leash and has done well but could still use just a little practice with that and with potty training, but does do really well in a crate. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Jackie was given to her owner by a friend. She was hoping to keep her however Jackie, being a puppy, had too much energy for her 2 smaller & older dogs so she reached out to us for help in finding Jackie a good home. Jackie was born on 1/8/24. She is a good natured, friendly and playful puppy who loves everyone and everything. Her foster has been working with her on potty training. Jackie will be spayed on 4/23 and be able to go home shortly thereafter. Please help Jackie find the loving home she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. My name is Blakely. First, we aren't sure what I am mixed with! We see a few things... maybe black mouth cur, maybe some collie, maybe some lab. I am 60 lbs and just about a year old. I am pretty much full grown and filled out. I came from a litter of puppies that was dumped on the side of the road. I am extremely sweet. I have been making huge strides! I will need a home where an adopter can take me under my wing and get me to where I should be - having fun, playing with toys, meeting people and gaining confidence. I am there now but I will need a transition period to get used to my new and exciting life. I have it in me - I just need to be shown! I love other dogs. My name is Lennox. Aren't I a super handsome boy!? I may look big in my pictures but I am quite compact. My foster says I am a big mush ball. I am 40 lbs but I am low to the ground. One could say I am a "pocket pittie" and we think that is pretty accurate. However, my fur looks kind of lab-like and so does part of the back of my body! We definitely think I have both in me. Either way, I am a looker. I am young - we think I am just around 12 to 18 months. My foster home is awesome and I am getting exposed to lots of things! I live with four other dogs (all female - big and small). I do well with all of them! At first, I did need to learn some rules of course but it didn't take me a minute to fall in line and kind of learn my "rank." I really have bonded with my foster parents the most. I do live with a cat. Sometimes I want to chase but when they tell me to knock it off, I listen. So, what does this mean for me? A home with a fenced in yard would be awesome but YES, leash walking would do wonders for me in so many ways! New sights, smells etc could really open my eyes to this world. An adult home or home with older kids. I can be jumpy and a bit of a bulldozer sometimes even though I am lowriding :). If I live with another dog, females would be preferable because that's what I live with now. If you have a cat, they should be dog savvy! I am affectionate and very loyal! I am housebroken and crate-trained and I will require a spot on the couch!
