Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Daisy — Sunshine in Fur Form, Ready to Bloom in a Home Daisy is a 1-year-old, ~35-pound sweetheart who has spent her entire puppyhood waiting for something most dogs never have to wait for — a family to call her own. But despite it all, Daisy’s heart stayed soft, hopeful, and full of love. Daisy is gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully friendly, with a playful side that comes out once she feels safe. She does great with other dogs and kids, and has a calm, loving presence that makes you want to sit down beside her and stay awhile. She’s the kind of dog who leans in close, quietly soaking up affection like she’s making up for lost time. Daisy would love an active but loving home — one that enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures, but also understands the magic of slowing down and just being together. She’s ready to learn, eager to please, and so excited to finally experience what it means to be part of a family. Daisy’s Darling Details: - 1 year old, 35 lbs - Sweet, gentle, and affectionate - Great with dogs and kids - Playful with a calm, loving heart - Smart and ready to learn - Has waited patiently for her chance at a home Daisy is ready to bloom into the best version of herself — all she needs is someone willing to give her the love she’s been missing. PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Chloe! Chloe is a 2-year-old Lab/Boxer mix weighing 40-45 pounds, and she's the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and easygoing. If you're looking for a dog who can keep up with family adventures but is just as happy curling up for cuddles afterward, Chloe is your girl! She has a sweet, outgoing personality and absolutely loves being around people. Whether it's snuggling on the couch, hanging out in the backyard, or simply following you from room to room, Chloe is happiest when she's with her family. Chloe gets along well with other dogs. She may be a little shy when meeting new canine friends, but she warms up quickly and enjoys having companions to play with. She's also wonderful with children and has done great in her foster home with kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers. While Chloe is currently living as an outside dog, she has the temperament and personality to transition easily into indoor life. She's adaptable, eager to please, and ready to become a beloved member of a forever family. Whether you're a busy family with kids, a couple looking for a loyal companion, or someone wanting a best friend to share life's adventures with, Chloe would make a wonderful addition to your home. Story
E-mail Jenny@doggoneseattle.org Animal Information: Scooby is a estimated 2-year-old, male, Labrador Retriever mix weighing approximately 54lbs, Foster Profile:  Scooby is the sweetest boy who loves every person he meets! His gentle and calm disposition makes him a very pleasant house guest, and if you're into a super cuddly dog, he's your guy! He won't hesitate to curl up in a complete stranger's lap just to get pets and look into their eyes. While this boy came to us extremely emaciated, you would never be able to tell what trials and tribulations he has faced in his past since he does not have a mean bone in his body. It is clear that he has not had an easy life before coming to Dog Gone Seattle, and he is coming out of his shell and learning how fun life can be everyday. He gets along very well with other dogs of all types, and is starting to experiment with playing - something I don't think he has done much of before. Scooby has already gained a significant amount of weight and is a healthy boy! Given how much he loves people, he very much wants to listen to what he's being told and tries very hard to please. He is a young dog that is extremely smart and highly biddable, which makes him very easy to train and work with! Scooby does well in his crate for entire work days, as well as overnight. During his decompression period, he displayed anxious attachment behaviors via barking when left alone, but he has not done this since he has settled into our home. He is currently being fostered in our home with our resident dog, 2 cats, as well as chickens and quail. Scooby does have prey drive towards small animals, but he has done very well aversion training with our cats and is able to coexist with them. He would do best in a home without cats; however, if someone is able and dedicated to managing his prey drive he is able to live with them. Scooby has grown and learned a lot already in the short time we've had him, and I know he would make an amazing dog for any family! An added bonus is that he is started on e collar training. He loves going on walks and adventures, really any quality time with his people he is at his happiest. He rides very politely in the car; however, he has shown symptoms of car sickness on longer trips, which can easily be managed with motion sickness medications. Scooby deserves to have a family that can give him all of the scratches, cuddles, and treats in the world! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from SBC Shelter in partnership with ARF. He will be transferred via TNT transport, arriving to foster care on 7/2/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.August 11, 2026, 5:52 pm

Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Bowie 💛 I'm about 3 years old, around 40 pounds, and I've been told I have the softest velvety coat (you'll have to confirm that yourself). I didn't always have it easy—I was found sitting scared on the side of the road outside a neighborhood—but I'm ready to leave that part behind and find my forever home. Let me tell you the most important thing about me: I LOVE BALLS. Kong, Chuckit, squeaky, bouncy—I'm not picky. If it bounces, I'm in. I'll watch it like a hawk, leap to catch it mid-air, and happily play fetch for as long as you'll throw it. I might even try to trick you into a little game of keep-away... but don't worry—if you pretend you're done, I'll bring it right back and nudge it into your hand. Deal? I'm playful, energetic, curious, and I like to keep an eye on my people (you'll feel very important, I promise). I'm also pretty smart—I've already learned to sit while I wait for my ball, and with a little patience (and maybe some snacks 👀), I know I can learn even more. My dream home? Probably a couple with no young kids, a yard to run around in, and humans who like being outside as much as I do. I'm still figuring out other dogs, and I haven't met any cats yet, so I may need a little guidance there. Kids make me a bit nervous, so a calmer home would help me feel safe. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend who will keep you moving, make you laugh, and always be ready to play... I'm your girl. Now... you got a ball? 🎾

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. **Hi, I’m Hoagie!** ❤️ I’m a 1-year-old Lab x Golden x Shepherd mix with a big goofy personality and a heart full of love. I’ve really blossomed in my foster home and I’m so ready to find my forever family! I’m a great housemate — I’m fully housebroken, I love my crate, I know how to use the dog door, and I thrive on a nice daily routine. I absolutely adore other dogs and would be over the moon to have a furry sibling to play with. One of my favorite things is entertaining myself! Just give me some toys and I’ll happily toss them around for hours making my own fun. I’m a silly, loving guy who wants to be part of the family. I can be a little nervous in new situations or with loud noises, so I do best with patient people who understand my boundaries and help me feel safe and confident. I grew up in a very busy shelter, which makes me a bit sensitive sometimes. I’m not a good fit for homes with small children. Loud, fast little kids make me really uncomfortable, they are so LOUD! I do great with respectful older kids and teenagers who know how to give me my space. I’d love a home with adults or older kids who understand my needs. If you have another friendly dog, a predictable routine, and plenty of love to give, I know I can shine. I’m loyal, silly, toy-obsessed, and I’ll be your constant companion once I feel safe with you. I’m looking for a semi quiet home, with understanding family who will give me time to adjust and appreciate the goofy, loving dog I already am. Could that be you?

Looking for a sweet boy to join your family? Check me out. I’m Starsky, a 3 month old lab mix, around 13 lbs. I am just a puppy so I have all the learning to do. I need you to be gentle and patient with me as I come from the streets and did not have an easy start to life. I love to play and I get along great with everyone and everything, although cats don't appreciate my game of "chase" so if you have a cat, hopefully it can recognize I am just being playful. I am doing great with my puppy pad house training and also learning to be in a crate, but you do need to encourage me as sometimes I might forget. I'm hoping you have some toys to play with and I'm hoping you like to get out and about cos' that plus love is really all I need. Check me out soon cos' I won't last. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Hi, I'm Chloe. I’m a 1yr old lab mix, around 40 lbs. My friend Henry and I are looking for our forever homes. We do not have to be adopted together but I'll be honest, we are both such nice and loving doggies that it will be hard to pick between us. We both love people and other dogs and are eager to find new friends to race around and play with. Because we are quite young still please be mindful that we don't yet have all our manners so if you have a little one, we might knock them down with our excitement... so just have bigger littles or be mindful of our lack of training at the moment. We hope you will pick one of us or both of us and make us part of your family! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Wanna play hard and then cuddle? If so, I'm the girl for you. Maybe you want to go hiking or running? I'll be right there by your side! I'm Jessie and I'm a 2yr old lab mix. I am kennel trained but I have to confess I do bark when I'm in there because I just want attention all the time. I love all the sizes of people but when I play, I'd say they need to be bigger kids, maybe 12 + cos I can get pretty crazy excited. If you have littles, that's cool, just pick them up if I'm on a zoomie! I'm a lab and we tend to get very excited with everything in life. Don't wait too long, the good weather is here and I'm ready for some fun. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Mocha is a sweet, energetic 3.5-year-old Lab mix looking for a new home due to her owner's change in circumstances. She's spayed and microchipped, up to date on rabies/DHPP, and due for routine boosters — full vet records available. She barks at unfamiliar people and does best with an owner who can work with her on socialization. Mocha is bonded with her housemate Nacho (see his profile) and we're hoping to place them together, though we're open to discussing options. Great fit for an active home.

Animal Profile: Marley is a 4-year-old, 60 lb neutered male mixed breed (DNA test showed German Shorthaired Pointer, Lab, Pitbull). He came to us as a puppy and was adopted but returned several years later due to anxiety around the young toddler in the home. Marley is friendly with other dogs but he has exhibited prey drive with the cats in his foster home, so we will not be considering homes with cats. He is discerning with new people but not reactive and  is a loyal companion to his people.. He is nervous with small children who don't respect his space. He is house trained, crate trained, and has good basic obedience training. We will share more as we get to know him in foster care.  Adopter Profile: Other dogs OK (not required) Dog-savvy older kids considered Fenced yard preferred Large breed experience  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from Texas as a puppy and adopted after a short stint in foster care. PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our adoption application can be found at haydudeequine.org. Well, hello there. I'm Bark Twain. Yes, the name is a literary masterpiece. And unlike my namesake, I prefer chewing toys over writing novels. I'm a 6-month-old pup weighing in at about 40 pounds, and I've got plenty more growing (and goofiness) left to do. If you're looking for a tiny purse pup, I accidentally wandered into the wrong story. But if you've been searching for a loyal adventure buddy with a big personality, you've reached the right chapter. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who thinks every day should include something fun. Hiking? Count me in. Playing fetch? Absolutely. Splashing in the water? Now you're speaking my language! I love other dogs, adore people, and I'm always convinced the next person I meet is going to be my new best friend. Like any good puppy, I'm still polishing up my manners. I'm smart, eager to learn, and food is a pretty convincing teacher. With a little guidance and consistency, I'll grow into an incredible companion who's as loyal as he is lovable. My perfect family will appreciate my playful spirit, my growing size, and my enthusiasm for life. In return, I'll provide endless laughs, unconditional love, and enough tail wags to keep everyone smiling. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." So let's get started on our happily ever after. Love, Bark Twain 🐾📖

Story
Animal Information: Lola, Bonny, and Bonita were found as strays with their mom, a purebred German Shorthaired Pointer, after being abandoned in an orchard in Eastern Washington. Thankfully, our friends at Yakima Valley Pet Rescue stepped in to bring them to safety. Despite their rough start, these girls are incredibly sweet, affectionate, and have wonderful temperaments. They have soulful, expressive eyes, are smart and eager to learn, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. Without a rescue stepping in, they would have received basic veterinary care and then been returned to the area where they were found. We knew they deserved so much more than that. We're thrilled to welcome these pups into foster care, where they'll have the chance to grow, gain confidence, and prepare for the loving forever homes they deserve here in the Pacific Northwest. Foster Profile: Bonny  is a very energetic and playful girl. She loves playing chase with my large dog. She's quite the social butterfly and likes everyone. She isn't intimidated by much but needs a minute to warm up to larger dogs. Bonny is very smart and had potty training, and the doggie door figured out by day two. She will regress and need additional potty training once she no longer has the dog door, but should catch on quickly if taken out for regular breaks. She's not as excited about leash training and will need some dedicated training to help her along, but she's a smart girl and will catch on quickly with the right training. She's perfectly comfortable in her crate and likes long naps there with her toys. She cries briefly when we go to bed but generally sleeps through the night, but will cry very loudly to let you know she needs a potty break. Her favorite things are stretching out in the sun for belly rubs and playing with her toys.  While she loves being outside, she is very curious and wants to explore every room in the house. It's been challenging to keep her off furniture or from jumping up on people and other dogs. She is a funny girl and makes me laugh often at her antics. She's truly a joy, and I think she will only get more loving as she grows. Bonny is going to be a big girl, we are looking for a single family home with a securely fenced yard (a playful canine companion would be a bonus). Previous large breed experience is preferred.  She will need a family dedicated to training and socializing. If your looking for your next adventure partner she may be your girl.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, heartworm test if indicated, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Yakima Valley Pet Rescue, WA.
