WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. This gentle guy is still finding his confidence, but with patience, love, and maybe a tasty treat or two, Blitzen will blossom into the devoted companion you’ve been waiting for. He would thrive in a home with another friendly four-legged sibling to help show him the ropes and remind him that life is full of belly rubs, kind words, and lots of love. 💛 Blitzen’s Highlights: 🐾 11 months old (DOB 12/15/25) • ~55–60 lbs 🐾 Sweet, shy, and loyal — warms up with love and patience 🐾 Good with other dogs — would love a buddy to show him the way 🐾 Fixed, vaccinated, and ready for a forever home 🐾 Loves treats, gentle pets, and quiet snuggles Coming from an unwanted litter that sat in rescue far too long, this sweet, gentle soul deserves a forever family who will finally give him the love, warmth, and belonging he’s been waiting almost a year for. I’m Panda, a 70-pound bundle of joy with my black-and-white good looks and a work ethic that would make any HR department proud. Let’s talk credentials, because yes… I brought a résumé: 📋 Panda’s Professional Qualifications: ✔️ Housebroken — zero indoor “oopsies” ✔️ Crate trained & doggy-door certified ✔️ Great with other dogs, especially medium-to-large pals ✔️ Good with older kiddos — playful but polite ✔️ Excellent stroll partner — loose leash, no nonsense, very impressive ✔️ Up to date on vaccines & rabies ✔️ Neutered and ready for forever At 2 years old, Panda has that perfect balance of playful energy and grown-up manners. Animal Profile: Wiley is a 11 month old male Lab/Husky  X (guessing) who joined us along with his siblings from Texas. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. Wiley is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, and older kids. Foster Update:   Wiley is a smart, fluffy goofball who is both crate trained and house trained. He knows all his basic commands, has an energetic and playful style, and walks nicely on leash. He spent several weeks in the care of a professional trainer, is e-collar trained, and continues to build confidence every day. Wiley has been enjoying the great outdoors of the PNW and has even started going to work with his foster, where he’s meeting lots of new people. He takes some time to warm up but forms strong bonds once he trusts you. Wiley would do best as the only dog in an active home with someone who has breed experience and a securely fenced yard. He is not a good fit for toddlers, though older children with dog experience should be fine. He’s also a bit of a talker, so an apartment setting wouldn’t be ideal. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from  Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Byrdie Express to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 21, 2025, 11:30 am

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💫 Meet Dancer – The Life-of-the-Party Reindeer Who Brings the Joy! 💫 If Dasher is the nap-loving chill brother, Dancer is the sibling who woke up, stretched, and declared, “Let’s make today AWESOME!” Born 12/15/24 and weighing about 55–60 lbs of happy-go-lucky enthusiasm, this handsome blond boy is pure sunshine with four legs and a tail that never stops swishing. Dancer is joyful, social, and always ready for fun. Toys? Yes, please! Dog buddies? Absolutely! A good romp followed by a cozy snuggle session? His specialty. He’s the kind of pup who greets every new day — and every new person — with a sparkle in his eye and a wag that could power a small windmill. While he loves playtime, what he really wants is you — a family who will include him in the big adventures, the small routines, and everything in between. From morning coffee runs to weekend hikes, Dancer thinks life is simply better as a team. Like his siblings, he comes from an unwanted litter that spent far too long waiting for their chance. Now almost a year old, he’s more than ready for the loving, supportive forever family he’s always deserved. And trust us… he’ll repay you in unlimited happiness, heartfelt loyalty, and comedic puppy antics that bring daily LOLs. ✨ Dancer’s Highlights: 🐾 11 months old (DOB 12/15/24), ~55–60 lbs 🐾 Joyful, outgoing, and oh-so-friendly 🐾 Loves other dogs and playtime 🐾 Neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home 🐾 Expert snuggler when the zoomies wear off 🐾 Guaranteed to boost your serotonin levels If your home could use some extra joy, positive energy, and a furry friend who believes every day is worth celebrating, Dancer is ready to twirl his way into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — and let Dancer bring the sparkle home! 💛🐾

Foster Needed 12/12/2025 - email toni@doggoneseattle.org if you can help Animal Profile: Meet Billy. Billy and his sibling are 6 month old Lab/Hound X, sweet puppies that got a second chance after coming from a home where the adults were living on chains. While that situation is still being handled in court, Billy and Nanny were safely surrendered to our rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays. They are thriving in their foster homes and learning all about toys, cozy beds, kindness, and what it means to feel safe and loved. They are all very friendly and love people, kids, and other dogs.  They arrive 12/12 — but they need foster homes (or foster-to-adopt!) to continue their journey. Please contact us if you can foster or for more information on our foster to adopt program toni@doggoneseattle.org Foster Update:  Meet this sweet, soulful little gentleman. Billy is the definition of calm, gentle, and people-oriented. From day one, his biggest goal in life has been staying close to his humans and soaking up all the love he can get. His signature move? Following you around and sitting politely, hoping you’ll notice him and give him some affection — and honestly, it works every time. For a puppy, he’s impressively mellow. He’s had no accidents, isn’t a chewer, and responds beautifully to gentle redirection (a simple “no” or “ah-ah” and he’s happy to stop). He’s curious about other dogs but clearly prefers people, showing a soft, submissive nature rather than rowdy play. He’s not fearful at all — just polite and a bit tender-hearted — and would do best with kind, well-mannered canine friends if he has them. He’s reportedly been great with kids and truly seems like the kind of puppy who would thrive as a family companion: docile, affectionate, easygoing, and eager to please. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s more about cuddles than chaos, more heart than havoc, this little lovebug might just be your perfect match.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued in partnership with Saving Shelter Strays in Texas and will be arriving to Seattle area foster care via Byrdie Express Transport on 12/12/2025. Hi, I'm Chloe. I’m a 1yr old lab mix, around 40 lbs. My friend Henry and I are looking for our forever homes. We do not have to be adopted together but I'll be honest, we are both such nice and loving doggies that it will be hard to pick between us. We both love people and other dogs and are eager to find new friends to race around and play with. Because we are quite young still please be mindful that we don't yet have all our manners so if you have a little one, we might knock them down with our excitement... so just have bigger littles or be mindful of our lack of training at the moment. We hope you will pick one of us or both of us and make us part of your family! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Hi, I’m Koda and I’m looking for my special furever family. I’m a 3 year old lab mix, around 45lbs. My foster mama thinks that I’m very sweet, shy, and loving. I love being with my four legged friends – either dogs of all sizes or cats! That’s right, you can call me your little love bug and I will follow you around for love pats and belly scratches. I even have a trick – yup I’m a magician - throw a dog biscuit near me it will disappear! I’m smart too – I know some commands like "House" to go to Mandalay's kennel to eat, my name and I even come when I’m called! Ok well, mostly I come LOL. I’m still working on the leash bit – I get a bit too excited and a whole bunch anxious so … sometimes I forget all my manners. It probably is better that I go to a family that has older kids (and a little calmer) and I would love to have some four legged friends to play with. Well, that’s me … do you have room for a little love bug in your family? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Animal Profile: Kiko is a 3 year old neutered male mixed breed, best guess GSP mix, that joined us from Hawaii on 10/17/25. Kiko weighs about 55 lbs, has a good amount of energy, and does really well with other dogs and children. He is also very food motivated which will help with training. We will share more about Kiko once he settles into his foster home. Foster Update: Kiko is a friendly, playful, and affectionate boy who’s settling into foster care beautifully. He greets new people with a quick sniff and a wag, and he’s very curious about other dogs on walks. He is great in the car and also with cats! Kiko has plenty of energy and loves to stay active! He enjoys walks, fetch, frisbee, and tug, and would be happiest in a home with room to run or a dog buddy to play with. After playtime, he’s all cuddles — he’s crate-trained but also loves curling up with his people and sleeping in bed. He’s mostly quiet, only barking briefly when someone’s at the door, and he’s learning his commands (sit, down, shake, and sometimes come!). Kiko is smart, sweet, and ready to find a home that matches his fun-loving spirit and big heart. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent visit with a veterinarian. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Elsa – The Golden-Hearted Girl Who Never Stopped Believing in Love At 8 months old and 48 pounds, Elsa is a beautiful Golden Retriever–Great Pyrenees mix who somehow ended up with all the Golden personality and only the Pyrenees fluff. Sweet, friendly, eager, affectionate—this girl is sunshine in dog form. If Golden Retrievers had a motivational speaker division, Elsa would be the CEO. But her start wasn’t golden at all. Elsa spent her whole puppyhood tied to a tether outside a trailer, watching the world from a spot of dirt she never deserved. No toys. No soft beds. No one to run to. No one to run with. And yet… her heart never quit. When she first came to us, she had a little food aggression around other dogs—understandable when you’ve never known if your next meal was guaranteed. But with time, consistency, and the realization that she’s finally safe, Elsa has blossomed beautifully. She’s now doing wonderfully with her dog friends and has never shown an ounce of aggression toward people. Humans, in her eyes, are made of magic—especially the ones willing to pet her. And oh, does she love to be loved. She leans in, she wiggles, she smiles with her whole face. She gives love like she’s been storing it up for months—because she has. Elsa deserved so much more than what she got in her puppy months, but she refuses to dwell on the past. She’s too busy soaking up cuddles, handing out kisses, and living her best “I’m finally free!” life. Her capacity for forgiveness and joy would put most of us to shame. This girl is resilient, goofy, grateful, and ready. Ready for a family. Ready for a home. Ready to love—and to be loved back. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, funny, deeply affectionate companion with a heart big enough to light up your whole house… Elsa is your girl. Apply today at haydududeequine.org, and get ready to welcome a brave, bouncy, golden-hearted miracle into your arms, heart and home!! 🐾
