WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🤍 Meet Ivory – The Sweet Song of Second Chances! 🤍 At just 5 months old (DOB 5/27/25) and 22 pounds, Ivory is a soft-hearted sweetheart still learning that the big wide world can be a wonderful place. With her gentle eyes and tender spirit, she’s the kind of pup who’ll quietly steal your heart when you least expect it. We think Ivory will land around 40-ish pounds when she’s all grown up — the perfect size for walks, hikes, snuggles, sharing the couch and well...you get it... everything!!!! This laid-back little lady loves tagging along with her people and doggie friends, soaking up the sunshine, and investigating the great outdoors. She’s still on the shy side and can be a little skittish with new people or situations, but a gentle voice, a kind touch, and a few tasty treats usually help her warm up in no time. Ivory would thrive in a calm home where she can take things slow, gain confidence, and never feel rushed. She’s happiest when she’s got company... a doggie sibling to help her learn the ropes and feel comfortable will be key to setting her up for success. With patience, love, and a steady routine, this girl is going to blossom into the loyal, loving companion you’ve been dreaming of. 🐾 Ivory’s Highlights: ✅ 5 months old – currently 22 lbs, expected to be ~40 lbs full-grown ✅ Gentle, sweet, and loving ✅ Shy at first, but warms up with patience (and snacks!) ✅ Great with other dogs ✅ Would do best with another pet for confidence ✅ Separation anxiety improving with companionship ✅ Loves sunshine, soft beds, and staying close to her people Ivory isn’t looking for just a home — she’s looking for a heart that understands hers. Give her time, love, and a sprinkle of patience, and you’ll earn a best friend who’ll stick by your side through it all. 💗 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — and let this ivory gem bring warmth and light into your life!

Story
Animal Profile: Wiley is a 11 month old male Lab/Husky  X (guessing) who joined us along with his siblings from Texas. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. Wiley is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, cats and older kids. Foster Update:  Wiley is a smart fluffball who is crate and house trained. He knows all his basic commands and has a goofy rambunctious play style. He loves to play and walks nicely on leash and is having fun getting to know the great outdoors of the PNW. He has started going to work with his foster and is meeting lots of new friends and would do well with a playful dog friend. As we have gotten to know him, he would do best in a home with someone who has breed experience a securely fenced yard and a resident dog (resident dog not mandatory but preferred). He takes some time to warm up and is working on his confidence. He is not a great fit for toddlers, older children with dog experience would be fine. He is a bit of a talker so is not the best fit for apartments.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from  Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Byrdie Express to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.October 21, 2025, 5:57 pm

Animal Profile: Heath is a sweet 12-week-old male mixed breed puppy, mainly black but with an adorable white chest. Heath joined us in Seattle from Hawaii on 10/19/25. Foster Update: Heath is smart, curious, and an extremely loving little pup! He already has good manners with other dogs and takes cues quickly without being too in their face. He loves to rough house with our 60 lb resident dog, chew on his nila bones and just chill by your side or snuggle in your lap. He is letting us know he needs to potty by going to the back door or giving us a whimper while in his crate. He is sleeping well and has made it through about 5-6 hours without a peep! He is a quick learner, knows what NO means, and eats like a champ! He is very food motivated which is great for training. He is one cool pup!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent visit with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Sienna is a 8.5 month old female Lab/Cattle dog X  (guessing) puppy who joined us, along with her siblings, from Texas on 3/14/25. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into care with our rescue partner. Sienna is a happy, sweet pup, doing well in her foster home, she is friendly with dogs, cats and kids. Foster Update: Meet Sienna, the soft-eyed sweetheart. This 8.5 month-old Lab/Husky mix (we're guessing, but she’s 100% adorable) is shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people. Sienna is food-motivated (smart girl alert!) and already has “sit” down pat. She walks great on leash, snoozes soundly through the night in her crate without accidents, and is always up for a game of fetch or a joyful toy romp in the garden. She LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy to help show her the ropes. Sweet, playful once she settles in—Sienna is just waiting for the right family who can be patient with her and help her to shine. Could it be you?  We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a resident dog, Breed experience preferred. due to her shy behaviour we ar not considering homes with small children, older teens will be considered. She is very timid with men and will need time and patience to warm up to them. We are not considering apartments at this time.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Hi! My name is Scottie, but I am not a Scottie dog, I am not short with long wavy black hair, I am tall with straight blonde hair. So perhaps a better name for me would be Labbie? But I am used to Scottie as a name so we can stick with it. Plus you can make some really cool spin-offs, such as Scottster, Scottie Biscotti, Scottie Spaghetti MeatBall Yoyo, or whatever, be creative. I am an energetic neutered male, 3 year old, Labrador Retriever, with beach blonde hair and the athletic build to make any gidget fall head over heels. I am strong, so you will need a good leash holding arm for all those walks you will take me on. I can’t wait to get excited as I watch you put your tenny shoes on! I have had a couple of homes as I was once adopted from the city shelter and then abandoned on the streets to take cover from rain at a gas station and once again homeless and back to a foster home. Whew. I am looking for an active family with a gentle yet strong leader to help guide me through life and maybe teach me some leash manners and keep me as a permanent family member. I hope to learn more words from you, maybe heel, stay, roll over. I will also teach you a word. Groke, a verb, an old Scots term meaning to look at somebody while they’re eating in the hope that they’ll give you some of their food. Which brings me to my next point. As any true and classic Labrador Retriever I adore both toys and treats. But if I had to choose between the two, which do you think I would pick? Yep. FOOD! Please ask my Foster Mom for more details about me. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Story
Hi, I'm Chloe. I’m a 1yr old lab mix, around 40 lbs. My friend Henry and I are looking for our forever homes. We do not have to be adopted together but I'll be honest, we are both such nice and loving doggies that it will be hard to pick between us. We both love people and other dogs and are eager to find new friends to race around and play with. Because we are quite young still please be mindful that we don't yet have all our manners so if you have a little one, we might knock them down with our excitement... so just have bigger littles or be mindful of our lack of training at the moment. We hope you will pick one of us or both of us and make us part of your family! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Koda and I’m looking for my special furever family. I’m a 3 year old lab mix, around 45lbs. My foster mama thinks that I’m very sweet, shy, and loving. I love being with my four legged friends – either dogs of all sizes or cats! That’s right, you can call me your little love bug and I will follow you around for love pats and belly scratches. I even have a trick – yup I’m a magician - throw a dog biscuit near me it will disappear! I’m smart too – I know some commands like "House" to go to Mandalay's kennel to eat, my name and I even come when I’m called! Ok well, mostly I come LOL. I’m still working on the leash bit – I get a bit too excited and a whole bunch anxious so … sometimes I forget all my manners. It probably is better that I go to a family that has older kids (and a little calmer) and I would love to have some four legged friends to play with. Well, that’s me … do you have room for a little love bug in your family? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Animal Profile: Kiko is a 3 year old neutered male mixed breed, best guess GSP mix, that joined us from Hawaii on 10/17/25. Kiko weighs about 55 lbs, has a good amount of energy, and does really well with other dogs and children. He is also very food motivated which will help with training. We will share more about Kiko once he settles into his foster home. Foster Update: Kiko is a friendly, playful, and affectionate boy who’s settling into foster care beautifully. He greets new people with a quick sniff and a wag, and he’s very curious about other dogs on walks. Kiko has plenty of energy and loves to stay active! He enjoys walks, fetch, frisbee, and tug, and would be happiest in a home with room to run or a dog buddy to play with. After playtime, he’s all cuddles — he’s crate-trained but also loves curling up with his people and sleeping in bed. He’s mostly quiet, only barking briefly when someone’s at the door, and he’s learning his commands (sit, down, shake, and sometimes come!). Kiko is smart, sweet, and ready to find a home that matches his fun-loving spirit and big heart. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent visit with a veterinarian. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💖 Meet Maggie – Proof That Love Heals Everything 💖 Maggie is an 18-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a heart that’s pure gold and a spirit that refuses to be dimmed. This stunning girl has been through more than any pup ever should — she survived a terrible act of cruelty when someone poured acid on her back. But here’s the thing about Maggie: she’s not letting her past write her future. Her scars tell a story of survival, but her heart tells one of forgiveness, hope, and joy. Despite everything, Maggie greets every person she meets with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and that unmistakable “happy to see ya!” GSP grin. She’s living proof that sometimes the best way to move on is with zoomies, kisses, and a whole lot of love. True to her breed, Maggie is an athlete at heart — she loves to run, swim, and even knows how to dock dive! Give her a ball or a squeaky toy, and she’ll turn playtime into an Olympic event. She thrives on activity and would be happiest with an adopter who understands the GSP breed and can keep her mind and body busy. Maggie is great with people big and small, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and while she hasn’t met any cats yet… let’s just say, with her pointer instincts, it might be best to stick to furry friends that bark. 😉 She’s ready to leave her past behind and leap — quite literally — into her next adventure. If you’re looking for a companion who embodies resilience, joy, and a heart full of second chances, Maggie’s your girl. 🐾 Apply at haydudeequine.org and let Maggie show you how love truly conquers all. ❤️
