Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Bowie 💛 I'm about 3 years old, around 40 pounds, and I've been told I have the softest velvety coat (you'll have to confirm that yourself). I didn't always have it easy—I was found sitting scared on the side of the road outside a neighborhood—but I'm ready to leave that part behind and find my forever home. Let me tell you the most important thing about me: I LOVE BALLS. Kong, Chuckit, squeaky, bouncy—I'm not picky. If it bounces, I'm in. I'll watch it like a hawk, leap to catch it mid-air, and happily play fetch for as long as you'll throw it. I might even try to trick you into a little game of keep-away... but don't worry—if you pretend you're done, I'll bring it right back and nudge it into your hand. Deal? I'm playful, energetic, curious, and I like to keep an eye on my people (you'll feel very important, I promise). I'm also pretty smart—I've already learned to sit while I wait for my ball, and with a little patience (and maybe some snacks 👀), I know I can learn even more. My dream home? Probably a couple with no young kids, a yard to run around in, and humans who like being outside as much as I do. I'm still figuring out other dogs, and I haven't met any cats yet, so I may need a little guidance there. Kids make me a bit nervous, so a calmer home would help me feel safe. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend who will keep you moving, make you laugh, and always be ready to play... I'm your girl. Now... you got a ball? 🎾

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hello, peasants. I'm Prince. Yes, the name fits. At just 4 months old, I'm already tipping the scales at around 50 pounds, and rumor has it I'm still growing. A lot. If you're looking for a tiny lap dog, keep scrolling. If you're looking for a larger-than-life best friend, we should talk. I'm an energetic, fun-loving puppy who is always ready for the next adventure. Hiking? Let's go. Exploring? Absolutely. Swimming? Even better! I LOVE water, and with my webbed feet, you could say I was built for making a splash. I'm a friendly guy who enjoys meeting people and playing with other dogs. My play style is a little enthusiasticokay, very enthusiasticbut I mean well and just get excited about life. Everything is fun when you're Prince. As a growing puppy, I'm still learning my manners, but I'm smart, eager, and ready to take on the world with my future family by my side. I'll need a home that appreciates my size, energy, and adventurous spirit, and in return, you'll get a loyal companion who is always up for whatever comes next. If your idea of a perfect day includes muddy paws, outdoor adventures, and a giant dog grinning beside you, I might just be your Prince Charming. Let's go make some memories. Love, Prince

Story
Animal Information: Nicky is an estimated 4-year-old 55 lb now neutered male black lab mix who was a stray intake to County of Hawaii Animal Control after being hit by a car. This big goofy boy was lucky to suffer only some road rash - no fractures - and passed his temperament test with dogs and people with flying colors. When he was euth-listed for space, he was pulled by an island rescue to a private boarding kennel from COH-AC and networked for rescue transfer. Kennel staff notes that he walks well on a leash (especially after play time), shows no resource guarding tendencies, and is not destructive with toys. He has good social skills with other dogs, taking cues well, and is friendly with all people including the children he has met at many adoption events.  Foster Updates: Nicky is a real love! He does well in his crate when left alone, but prefers to sleep on the couch. He loves to play with the resident dog and loves to play with toys too, though he isn't destructive with them. Especially loves tug with his large rope toy. He is mostly a quiet boy -- only barks when he thinks the house needs guarding, like when the scary scary mailman approaches. He LOVES to snuggle. He will lay on top of his foster mom for hours. He needs a bit of work with his leash manners but he’s got some of the basic commands down.  Other notes: He's great with the small senior dog in his foster home, he is curious about the kitten but will only lay down nearby and watch him, and wants to bark at the chickens. He is able to be very independent - will simply lay down in the grass and is perfectly content watching his foster mom garden. But when given the opportunity, he wants to be with his people and getting lovings and cuddles. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Action 4 Animals Hawaii. He will be transferred via Paws Across Water Hawaii (PAW HI), arriving to foster care on 6/10/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 5, 2026, 11:31 am

Story
Animal Profile: Wiley is a 1.5-year-old male Lab/Husky  X (guessing) who joined us along with his siblings from Texas. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. Wiley is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, and older kids. Foster Update:  Wiley is a smart, fluffy goofball who is both crate trained and house trained. He knows all his basic commands, has an energetic and playful style, and walks nicely on leash. He spent several weeks in the care of a professional trainer, is e-collar trained and enjoys lots of adventures with his current foster mom. Wiley would do best as the only dog in an active home with someone who has breed experience and a securely fenced yard. He is not a good fit for toddlers, though older children with dog experience should be fine. He’s also a bit of a talker, so an apartment setting wouldn’t be ideal. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from  Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Byrdie Express to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.July 5, 2026, 11:31 am

Hi I’m Lilly. I’m a 2 yr old lab mix. If you feel lonely when you go to the bathroom... or even just walk into another room... I can be your company! I want to be with you as much as possible cos I love my people. I'm a pretty excitable girl and love to play, I'm also pretty smart and if you show me a treat, it massively improves my motivation to learn new things. I'm super sweet and can't wait to start my life with... you? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Looking for a sweet boy to join your family? Check me out. I’m Starsky, a 3 month old lab mix, around 13 lbs. I am just a puppy so I have all the learning to do. I need you to be gentle and patient with me as I come from the streets and did not have an easy start to life. I love to play and I get along great with everyone and everything, although cats don't appreciate my game of "chase" so if you have a cat, hopefully it can recognize I am just being playful. I am doing great with my puppy pad house training and also learning to be in a crate, but you do need to encourage me as sometimes I might forget. I'm hoping you have some toys to play with and I'm hoping you like to get out and about cos' that plus love is really all I need. Check me out soon cos' I won't last. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Hi, I'm Chloe. I’m a 1yr old lab mix, around 40 lbs. My friend Henry and I are looking for our forever homes. We do not have to be adopted together but I'll be honest, we are both such nice and loving doggies that it will be hard to pick between us. We both love people and other dogs and are eager to find new friends to race around and play with. Because we are quite young still please be mindful that we don't yet have all our manners so if you have a little one, we might knock them down with our excitement... so just have bigger littles or be mindful of our lack of training at the moment. We hope you will pick one of us or both of us and make us part of your family! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Wanna play hard and then cuddle? If so, I'm the girl for you. Maybe you want to go hiking or running? I'll be right there by your side! I'm Jessie and I'm a 2yr old lab mix. I am kennel trained but I have to confess I do bark when I'm in there because I just want attention all the time. I love all the sizes of people but when I play, I'd say they need to be bigger kids, maybe 12 + cos I can get pretty crazy excited. If you have littles, that's cool, just pick them up if I'm on a zoomie! I'm a lab and we tend to get very excited with everything in life. Don't wait too long, the good weather is here and I'm ready for some fun. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Animal Profile: Marley is a 4-year-old, 60 lb neutered male mixed breed (DNA test showed German Shorthaired Pointer, Lab, Pitbull). He came to us as a puppy and was adopted but returned several years later due to anxiety around the young toddler in the home. Marley is friendly with other dogs but he has exhibited prey drive with the cats in his foster home, so we will not be considering homes with cats. He is discerning with new people but not reactive and  is a loyal companion to his people.. He is nervous with small children who don't respect his space. He is house trained, crate trained, and has good basic obedience training. We will share more as we get to know him in foster care.  Adopter Profile: Other dogs OK (not required) Dog-savvy older kids considered Fenced yard preferred Large breed experience  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from Texas as a puppy and adopted after a short stint in foster care. PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Kermit! I'm about 7 months old, weigh around 50 pounds, and I'm on the hunt for my forever family. Everyone says I'm a super sweet guy, and I have to agree—I love making new friends, whether they have two legs or four! One of my favorite things in the whole world is WATER. If there's a pool, pond, creek, lake, or even a sprinkler nearby, you'll probably find me splashing around and having the time of my life. I'm a pretty easygoing pup for a young Lab mix. I have a medium energy level, so I'm always up for a walk, some playtime, or an adventure, but I also know how to relax and enjoy some downtime. Speaking of walks, I already know how to walk on a leash and can show off my "sit" command like a pro. I'm still young and have lots of learning ahead of me, but I'm eager to please and ready to be your loyal sidekick. If you're looking for a friendly, gentle-hearted best friend who loves everyone he meets and never says no to a swim, I think we'd make a great team. Can't wait to meet you! Love, Kermit 🐾

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi there! I'm Waldo. I'm a 7-month-old pup weighing about 60 pounds, and I'm looking for a family who appreciates a dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I've been told I'm quite the conversationalist. Now, don't worry—I'm not a nonstop barker. I just like to share my thoughts. If you're talking, I'll probably have something to say about it. If dinner is running late, expect a few comments. If we're headed out on an adventure, you'll definitely hear my excitement. Some people call it sass; I call it excellent communication skills. When I'm not busy chatting, you'll probably find me in the water. I absolutely LOVE to swim, splash, and play. A pond, pool, creek, lake, sprinkler—if it's wet, I'm interested. Water is my happy place, and I'd love a family who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as I do. I'm a sweet, social guy who enjoys making new friends and being part of the action. At 55 pounds, I'm a sturdy pup, but I'm still young and excited to learn new things. Whether we're exploring the great outdoors, going for a walk, or relaxing at home, I'll be right by your side—offering companionship, loyalty, and the occasional opinion. If you're looking for a friendly, water-loving best friend who will keep you laughing and always be ready for the next adventure, I might be the perfect match. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Waldo 🐾
