Story
Hi my name is Aidan! I am a 1 yr old Yellow Labrador mix. I am back at Big Bones through no fault of my own, staying with my foster family. Like most Labs, I have a lot of energy, which I like to burn on walks. Chewing on my toys, and chasing balls is fun too, (although I’m not sure how to bring it back quite yet), and I like following my foster mom around. When I want to relax, I love to be next to people, I am a cuddler with other dogs, if they like to cuddle, too! I love car rides and have mastered jumping into the car, although sometimes I get so excited I don’t wait for the door to open all the way. I get along great with other dogs, and kids… I am house trained. I am also a total goofball (who does not know how big he is), so I bump and run into everything. Please put in an application for me, if you would like to know anything more, I would love to find my furever home!

Story
Gerald is a yellow lab from New Mexico, who came to us as a stray with a broken hind leg. Unfortunately we expect he had had this injury for some time, and it was severe enough and old enough that doctors recommended we amputate his hind leg. Gerald has been doing great on three legs, and he hasn't let it slow him down much. He does zoomies in the yard and sometimes stands on just his two front legs! He is learning to love toys, especially stuffed animals, and loves the couch and playing with his humans. He is good with other dogs but more as a side by side companion than a constant playmate. Gerald has a hard time on hard wood or slippery floors and would appreciate a home with lots of rugs or carpeting. If interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link: https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt Gerald is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Puff! This little cutie is from New Mexico, where she was dropped off at a large shelter for unknown reasons. She is an absolute cuddle bug and loves to be held and pet. She loves to bounce around the yard after toys, and play with other dogs. She is very food motivated and is working on kennel training as well as potty training, but she is still young so will need work. Puff is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
This pup's adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. Waldo is a special boy who needs a home with a fenced in yard (no apartments). Waldo has officially finished his 21 day board and train and is so excited to show off his new tricks to potential adopters. He is a high energy guy who would love a job to keep his brain busy :) He is a great dog! Introducing Waldo, the spirited boy seeking a special someone! Rescued many days ago, Waldo's journey includes overcoming some challenges, including leash reactivity and few quirks that he needs worked with. Rescued and fostered with boundless love, Waldo's journey has seen him getting into a few sticky situations, which only highlight his need for guidance and understanding. However, with the right patient and dedicated owner willing to invest in his training and socialization, Waldo promises to be a loyal companion. His goofy charm, intelligence, and love for people make him a loving companion for the right person. Are you ready to give Waldo the understanding and commitment he deserves? Waldo is a goofy pit mix! He is an amazing learner, but get overstimulated when other dogs are around. He can be a bit hyper but wears down with fetch. He has honestly been doing do great in foster care! However he is very used to a routine and would benefit from more socialization. He has wonderful potential and we believe will be the perfect fit for someone who can recognize his puppy nature and help him work through it. He gets along well with dogs, but seems to mimic their behavior. He does do good with dogs, and I think he would benefit from having a dog friend to play with. Just with the right introduction, he also needs more socialization to be the best boy he can be! Past shelter staff notes: This boy is so sweet! He is very gentle, and was so great at making the other dogs feel comfortable! He loves to get pets, and does really well on leash! He's SO sweet and silly and is an all around happy boy! His silly facial expressions when he plays are sure to win you over! He is a very loyal, adventurous, and smart boy. Treats and toys are the way to his heart, he will do anything for a cookie or stuffed toy. He is very good with routine, and likes to know what is happening next. He really is just a giant puppy that needs to be given a chance! He is house and kennel trained. He knows sit, shake and lay down! ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not all dogs attend every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

These pups are in Windsor, Colorado too!
