Story
Hey there Delilah! This precious, 9 month old, girl has been through some stuff at her young age, but you’d never know it by her personality. She’s a friendly, resilient girl that does great with kids and other dogs. She would love to engage in play, but if the other dog isn’t feeling it, she’s happy to entertain herself elsewhere. Delilah was confiscated by a local CO shelter after someone was observed hitting her with a cane. Her leg suffered multiple injuries and was amputated. Delilah has recovered beautifully and is learning about life on three legs. She gets around well — particularly on carpeted surfaces and grass. Hardwood floors are harder for her to manage and clearly a lot of stairs wouldn’t be the greatest for her long-term. Delilah is doing very well with her house and crate training (although she does protest a bit at first). The couch is her throne and it’s a privilege, ehh actually a right, she demands in her new home. She’s obviously a labby girl, but she doesn’t have the high and destructive energy the breed has been known for. Delilah is being fostered in Lone Tree, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/delilah/. Story
Okayden is around 2 years old. He is a fun-loving, sweet boy. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play. A little shy meeting new people and does not appreciate being pet by strangers. If they let him be and give him a little time, he can be their friend within a few minutes. He is kennel trained and good on leash. He'd love to go on adventures. Unfortunately Okayden's past is a mystery, but he was stuck in a dog run at shelter in Texas for a long time. He wasn't given walks or a break from the small space. His nails grew incredibly long. He is so happy to be free. Can you show him an amazing Colorado life?  ##2448062##

Story
Hi my name is Aidan! I am a 1 yr old Yellow Labrador mix. I am back at Big Bones through no fault of my own, staying with my foster family. Like most Labs, I have a lot of energy, which I like to burn on walks. Chewing on my toys, and chasing balls is fun too, (although I’m not sure how to bring it back quite yet), and I like following my foster mom around. When I want to relax, I love to be next to people, I am a cuddler with other dogs, if they like to cuddle, too! I love car rides and have mastered jumping into the car, although sometimes I get so excited I don’t wait for the door to open all the way. I get along great with other dogs, and kids… I am house trained. I am also a total goofball (who does not know how big he is), so I bump and run into everything. Please put in an application for me, if you would like to know anything more, I would love to find my furever home!

Story
This pup's adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. Waldo is a special boy who needs a home with a fenced in yard (no apartments). Waldo has officially finished his 21 day board and train and is so excited to show off his new tricks to potential adopters. He is a high energy guy who would love a job to keep his brain busy :) He is a great dog! Introducing Waldo, the spirited boy seeking a special someone! Rescued many days ago, Waldo's journey includes overcoming some challenges, including leash reactivity and few quirks that he needs worked with. Rescued and fostered with boundless love, Waldo's journey has seen him getting into a few sticky situations, which only highlight his need for guidance and understanding. However, with the right patient and dedicated owner willing to invest in his training and socialization, Waldo promises to be a loyal companion. His goofy charm, intelligence, and love for people make him a loving companion for the right person. Are you ready to give Waldo the understanding and commitment he deserves? Waldo is a goofy pit mix! He is an amazing learner, but get overstimulated when other dogs are around. He can be a bit hyper but wears down with fetch. He has honestly been doing do great in foster care! However he is very used to a routine and would benefit from more socialization. He has wonderful potential and we believe will be the perfect fit for someone who can recognize his puppy nature and help him work through it. He gets along well with dogs, but seems to mimic their behavior. He does do good with dogs, and I think he would benefit from having a dog friend to play with. Just with the right introduction, he also needs more socialization to be the best boy he can be! Past shelter staff notes: This boy is so sweet! He is very gentle, and was so great at making the other dogs feel comfortable! He loves to get pets, and does really well on leash! He's SO sweet and silly and is an all around happy boy! His silly facial expressions when he plays are sure to win you over! He is a very loyal, adventurous, and smart boy. Treats and toys are the way to his heart, he will do anything for a cookie or stuffed toy. He is very good with routine, and likes to know what is happening next. He really is just a giant puppy that needs to be given a chance! He is house and kennel trained. He knows sit, shake and lay down! ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not all dogs attend every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

These pups are in Johnstown, Colorado too!

Story
Harley is a 4 yr old female GSP mixed. She is very energetic and loves attention. We moved from a home with land into an apartment & she needs more room to run and play. She is a bit aggressive with certain types of dogs but she loves to run and hunt. Hoping she can be rehoused to someone who has land and can be active with her.
