Story
Who doesn’t love a smiling, yellow, mature adult, lab?!? Please meet Flo! Named after Hurricane Florence (she was rescued after being displaced during the storms), Flo has been living the dream in what she had hoped would be her forever home. Unfortunately, her owner was experiencing homelessness and knew she deserved more than what he could provide. Flo is a happy, playful, friendly girl. She’s well mannered in a home, house trained, and the type of dog that just fits in from the start. Flo is great with dogs and kiddos, but is seeking a feline free home. She’s a hefty 62 lbs but is a bit overweight. Flo is being fostered in Aurora, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/flo/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Longmont, CO
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Luna is a lovebug & goofball who forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She just wants to be the only child who gets all the love, toys, beds, and all the pets. She loves playing ball (especially when treats are involved), playing keep away, and going on walks. Though she also doesn't mind being a couch potato (after getting exercise) and snuggling under a blanket. She does especially well when she knows what is expected of her and is with a human who offers consistent, calm leadership. Luna is a sensitive dog who requires a very specific home environment to thrive. She experiences fear-based, context-specific reactivity when she feels unsafe. Luna needs someone committed to her ongoing training. While Luna has lived with other dogs/cats, we are seeking a single-animal home for her moving forward to ensure long-term safety and nervous system stability. We selected "unknown" for dogs and cats because her ability to be "good" with other animals depends on the animal and the adopter.

Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, August 29. We are offering private adoption appointments August 23-30 to pre-approved applicants. Contact us to learn more!* Meet Chief! Chief is a playful, adventurous pup with the perfect balance of energy and affection. He loves greeting his people with enthusiasm, chasing a ball during a game of fetch, and then settling in for snuggles once he's burned off some energy. Chief is eager to please, highly food motivated, and a quick learner, making him a great candidate for continued training. He's already making excellent progress with his house training and is working on his leash manners and kennel training. Like many young dogs, he's still learning that hands aren't toys and is practicing polite manners such as "no mouth" and "down." Chief has done wonderfully with children and enjoys the company of other playful dogs. His foster family's 4-year-old is one of his favorite playmates! He's generally a quiet pup, though he may bark when separated from his people as he continues building confidence with alone time. At night, he settles in nicely and sleeps well in either his dog bed or alongside his people. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate companion who's ready for adventure by day and cuddles by night, Chief may be the perfect addition to your family. Chief is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Chief is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
