Millie is a year old girl with all the house manners and plenty of zest for the active Colorado outdoorsman! She’s house trained, rides well in the car, is dog friendly, greets strangers with a smile, and has an independent streak. She likes to explore, take scent walks, and enjoys a good game of fetch — she casually drops the ball back near you while jogging past. Millie is around 55 lbs. She joined MHCR from a high intake shelter in Texas where she found herself on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Millie left Texas with a few heartworms in tow, as lots of Texas dogs do, but not to worry, she’s being treated and these will soon be a thing of the past. Feline and poultry free home for her, please! "Cooper is a happy, social young lab mix who absolutely loves people and greets everyone like a friend — strangers included. He’s confident, friendly, and always ready to make a new buddy. Cooper is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. He’s crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night (you may have to wake him up in the morning!), and is not a barker. He rides great in the car and walks nicely on leash without pulling, though he’s still polishing up his leash manners and learning not to wander. This smart boy is eager to learn and already working on basic commands, “off,” and general good manners. With a little continued training, Cooper is going to be an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing young dog who’s equal parts playful and chill, Cooper could be your guy. He’s approx 1 year old and weighs 62 lbs." This little cutie is Raspberry! While her lineage is unknown (she’s a street dog found within a larger group of dogs) it’s pretty hard to deny her labby ears and her Doberman coloration. Raspberry is a tad on the shy side, but is quickly won over with some yummy treats. She is good with other dogs, is playful without being needy, and is mastering crate and house training. Raspberry is approximately 3.5 months old.
