Story
Luna is a precious, loyal, and deeply loving dog who forms strong bonds with her person. She is affectionate and thrives when she knows what is expected of her. She does best with clear rules, structure, and consistency. Luna is learning to love to play ball, especially when treats are involved. She loves walks. She does especially well with a human who offers steady and regulated leadership. Luna is a sensitive dog who requires a very specific home environment to thrive. She experiences fear-based, context-specific reactivity when she feels unsafe or overwhelmed. Luna needs someone committed to her care and ongoing training. She would be best suited for someone who understands compassionate positive reinforcement, nervous system regulation, and/or trauma-informed dog psychology; ideally, an experienced dog guardian. While Luna has lived with other dogs/cats, we are seeking a single-animal home for her moving forward to ensure long-term safety and nervous system stability.

Story
This little cutie is Raspberry! While her lineage is unknown (she’s a street dog found within a larger group of dogs) it’s pretty hard to deny her labby ears and her Doberman coloration. Raspberry is on the shy side, but is quickly won over with some yummy treats. She would benefit from another dog in the home to help show her the ropes, but she has a very resilient spirit! Raspberry is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/raspberry You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
"Cooper is a happy, social young lab mix who absolutely loves people and greets everyone like a friend — strangers included. He’s confident, friendly, and always ready to make a new buddy. Cooper is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. He’s crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night (you may have to wake him up in the morning!), and is not a barker. He rides great in the car and walks nicely on leash without pulling, though he’s still polishing up his leash manners and learning not to wander. This smart boy is eager to learn and already working on basic commands, “off,” and general good manners. With a little continued training, Cooper is going to be an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing young dog who’s equal parts playful and chill, Cooper could be your guy. He’s approx 1 year old and weighs 62 lbs." Cooper is being fostered in Centennial, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/cooper/. Mulberry has the most luxurious, velveteen coat. She’s around 9 weeks old and is part of the group of stray pups found on the streets of Texas. We think Mulberry is likely a lab/pittie mix. She’s a gentle girl, with a sweet spirit.
