Story
Okayden is around 2 years old. He is a fun-loving, sweet boy. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play. A little shy meeting new people and does not appreciate being pet by strangers. If they let him be and give him a little time, he can be their friend within a few minutes. He is kennel trained and good on leash. He'd love to go on adventures. Unfortunately Okayden's past is a mystery, but he was stuck in a dog run at shelter in Texas for a long time. He wasn't given walks or a break from the small space. His nails grew incredibly long. He is so happy to be free. Can you show him an amazing Colorado life?  ##2448062##

Story
"Honey is a sweet as honey! She is a 1-year-old cattle dog mix at a nice, 40 pounds, medium-size. Honey is extremely loving, smart, very attentive and eager to learn from people. She likes kids and other dogs, too. Honey is on the timid/submissive side and still learning about living in a home and the world around her. She is still very puppy-like, but her intellect and enthusiasm are helping her learn quickly in her foster home. Honey was saved from a Houston, high intake shelter when her time was up. She had been picked up as a stray. She had a nice behavior report at the shelter and was known for charming shelter volunteers with her army crawls, kisses, and for rolling over for belly rubs❤️. We have no idea who missed out on this beautiful, blue-eyed gem of a girl before, but she’s ready to put it all behind her and find her true forever people. We think she would do well in a home with a more mature canine to learn from and/or humans that have time to work on training and taking her on adventures. Her forever family will be lucky to have her!" Honey is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/honey/. Story
Hey there Delilah! This precious, 9 month old, girl has been through some stuff at her young age, but you’d never know it by her personality. She’s a friendly, resilient girl that does great with kids and other dogs. She would love to engage in play, but if the other dog isn’t feeling it, she’s happy to entertain herself elsewhere. Delilah was confiscated by a local CO shelter after someone was observed hitting her with a cane. Her leg suffered multiple injuries and was amputated. Delilah has recovered beautifully and is learning about life on three legs. She gets around well — particularly on carpeted surfaces and grass. Hardwood floors are harder for her to manage and clearly a lot of stairs wouldn’t be the greatest for her long-term. Delilah is doing very well with her house and crate training (although she does protest a bit at first). The couch is her throne and it’s a privilege, ehh actually a right, she demands in her new home. She’s obviously a labby girl, but she doesn’t have the high and destructive energy the breed has been known for. Delilah is being fostered in Lone Tree, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/delilah/. Story
Hi! I'm a cattle dog / lab mix. I'm friendly, but pretty shy and still learning that the world isn't as scary as it seems. Once I'm comfortable, I do like belly rubs. I will need a very patient adopter in a quiet home to really come out of my shell and thrive. I would do best in a home with another dog to show me the world is not a scary place! I am currently in foster care. Fill out an application to meet me today! Email adopt@souldog.org with any questions!
