This brindle beauty came to Soul Dog with her siblings and is ready to find her forever home. After spending most of her life in the shelter, Kemmerer went into foster in early October. She is working through her fears at warp speed and is even getting used to that nasty elevator. Her friends are impressed with her progress, but she wants them to know she’ll always make time for treats and belly rubs. Now if only she could figure out her own reflection!Kemmerer is submissive and gets along with other dogs and cats. She is crate- and house-trained and does well on a leash. She is quiet, takes good care of her toys, and will cuddle for cheese.Kemmerer hopes you’ll give her a chance. She’ll make the best companion and is excited to meet you! This dog is currently in a foster home. Please go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application so we can set up a meet and greet. Story
Hi my name is Caache, so about my face… I have an autoimmune disease that is affecting the skin on my face causing some scabs. They have me on a medication and I seem to be getting better. I am a healthy pup in every other way. Unfortunately I have spent most of my life at the shelter and I am pretty shy. So I would love to get out here and see what the real world is like. I would even love a foster home until I can find my forever family. Please don’t let the scabs on my face prevent you from loving me.

Story
Hello! My name is Greenbrier. I am about 4 months old and have a short, cream-colored coat. I am super sweet and easy going! I love stuffed animals and often play tug-o-war with my siblings. I have met kids of all ages and love to play. Playtime is exhausting so I am happy to curl up on your lap or at your feet and take a nap.  I am great with other dogs… once we are introduced. They are a lot bigger than me! I have not met cats yet; I am sure what to think of them. I love to run around the yard and follow you while you work. My favorite recently has been pumpkin treats! I sleep well in a kennel at night and have a good routine down! I would love to meet you and find my furever family.

Story
King Blu or Poncho as he has come to be known around our house came to us from a kind man, who recognized that Poncho needed more time and a bigger yard than he had to offer.  Poncho knows basic commands - sit, stay, come, leave it and high-five.  He is house trained and kennel trained.  He walks well on a leash and minds well off a leash as well.  Poncho is a big love, gentle with my 12 lb fluffy dog, my curious cat, my two-year-old toddler and my older second grader.  He loves to lay his big wrinkly head on my lap while we watch TV.  Sometimes he tries to climb on the couch, but only his front feet because he knows he is not supposed to be on the furniture.  He is a sucker for belly rubs and rolling around on the floor, all feet straight up in the air.  He is a sloppy drinker and food gobbler, so have a towel handy to clean up slobber and be aware if you leave breakfast sitting out on the coffee table he will grab it.  We are working through some puppy growing pains and learning from our mistakes - eating socks and recognizing that the kids lovies are not dog toys.  He is very submissive and a quick learner.  He is food motivated but not food aggressive.  He knows to sit and wait until breakfast or dinner is served.  Our family has enjoyed hikes with Poncho, daily walks and fetch. Although he seems to prefer pulling the Amazon boxes out of recycling and tearing them up in the yard, or munching on large sticks.   Poncho needs space to run and someone who will take the time to continue his training and reinforce the skills he already has.  We have fallen in love with Poncho very quickly and I know he will make another family very happy.  He is a big boy with a big bark and bigger heart.  He warms up quickly to strangers of all kinds.  He will be a loyal love for life! If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##1992946##
