Story
Meet our tiny tripod-in-training (don’t worry—he’s keeping all four legs!) 🐾 This sweet 3-month-old pup is recovering like a champ from his FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery and is ready to wiggle his way into a home that can help him finish his comeback story. He’s playful, snuggly, and blissfully unaware that he’s been through anything major—he just knows he loves toys, treats, and people! Over the next few weeks, he’ll need your help to continue therapy exercises. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, most FHO pups go on to live active, happy lives—and this sweet boy is well on his way! 💙 -Around 3.5 months old -Currently under 15lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us. Story
This sweet 6-year-old Lab/Basset mix weighs about 50 pounds and has a heart just as big. Through no fault of his own, Balor lost his home due to a divorce and is now looking for a new family to call his own. Balor grew up in a loving home with dogs and kids. He’s passed the puppy stage and enjoys the comforts of home—relaxing, spending time with his people, and being a loyal companion. This boy does have LOTS of SPUNK for a 6 year old. He would do best in an active home and go on daily walks when the weather warms up.  This good boy didn’t do anything wrong; sometimes life just changes. He’s hoping for a fresh start with a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, well-rounded dog who’s ready to fit right into your life, Balor could be your perfect match. We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. January 31, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
At just 10 weeks old , this large-breed pup is everything you’d expect from a growing baby dog—playful, curious, a little goofy, and full of potential. They’re still learning how the world works, so training, consistency, and patience will be key as they grow into a well-mannered adult.   Like most puppies, they’ll need help with basics like house training, leash skills, and manners, plus plenty of positive reinforcement, structure, and socialization. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will grow alongside you and be devoted for life.   This pup is looking for a family ready to commit to training, exercise, and lots of love—not just now, but for the many years ahead. If you’re ready for puppy energy, big-dog cuddles, and the joy of watching a dog grow into their best self, this sweet baby could be your perfect match.  We do not have a facility for you to visit.
