Story
Meet Lala At just 7 months old, Lala the Labradoodle is all sunshine, wiggles, and puppy kisses! This sweet girl is full of playful energy and curious charm, ready to explore the world right alongside her forever family. Lala is as smart as she is adorable (and trust us—she’s very adorable!). She’s learning her manners and picking things up quickly, especially when treats and praise are involved. Like any young pup, she’ll thrive with continued training, consistency, and lots of love. With her bright mind and eager-to-please personality, she’s sure to blossom into an incredible companion. She loves playtime, belly rubs, and being part of the action. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or snuggling up after a fun-filled day, Lala is happiest when she’s with her people. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will grow with your family and fill your days with laughter and love, Lala is ready to meet you. Her forever home is out there—maybe it’s yours? We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. March 7, 2026, 12:01 pm

Story
Meet Maddie!  Maddie is a playful, happy puppy who is ready to find her forever home! At approximately 13 weeks old, she’s already learning quickly and even knows her name when called. Maddie loves to fetch a ball, chew on bones, and play with toys, and she has no problem keeping up with her high-energy foster sister. When playtime is over, she’s just as happy to snuggle up for some cuddle time with her foster family. She does well sleeping in her crate at night and keeps it clean, sometimes only needing to go out once. Maddie is also doing well with pottying when taken outside, though like most puppies her age she will still need continued house-training and consistency. Maddie is currently being fostered with a retired couple who adore her, and she thrives on companionship. She simply wants to be with her people and doggie friends! Maddie is being fostered near Holly, Michigan and would love to meet her future family. If you’d like to meet this sweet girl, fill out an application and we’ll be in touch! We do not have a facility for you to visit.
