Hi everybody We have to rehome our 4 yo husky lab mix named Pluto. He is an amazing dog in the right environment. His personality is so goofy and entertaining. Such an adventurous, loving dog. All he wants to do is be outside and play. Very food motivated! He loves the water. He is potty trained. Not the best recall. He walks good with a mouth lead. On a regular lead, will pull but eventually give up. Other dogs are tricky. He would do best being the only dog in the home. He cannot be around young children. The reason we are forced to find him a new home is because he can get aggressive towards kids. We have a baby and can not take the chance. He needs people that have dog experience and will respect his space. It truly breaks our hearts to even make this. He really is a great dog and deserves a home that is right for him. We are in the metro Detroit area but willing to take him anywhere.

Story
Bruno is a 3 1/2 year old labrador mix. We rescued him when he was 9 months old. He is house trained and follows commands. He gets along with other dogs and people. Regarding people, he thinks that everyone who comes in the door is there for him and wants to be petted! We've never had a problem with him with either adults or children and considering our family gatherings are large, I would say he is well behaved. He does not steal food, counter surf or clean the dishwasher. He has two sensitive areas; his paws and back end. Bruno recently had his ball between his paws and my 3 year old granddaughter went to grab it and he snarled, but did not bite her. He's never done that before, but to be fair, it was his ball and it was between his feet, but a 3 year old doesn't know better. So Bruno would be best placed in a home with older children who know to leave his ball alone. Rehoming Bruno is not an easy decision, and we are hopeful that he finds a loving forever home.

What a cute chocolatey muffin! Rocky is estimated to be about 9 months old and weighs 39 pounds right now. Meet Rocky, a happy-go-lucky pup with a heart as big as his playful personality! He is always up for a game of fetch and will dutifully bring the ball back to you (he's a good boy like that). Rocky just loves the snow, it is really fun to watch him play in it! He's also super smart and eager to please, making him very trainable. He's learning new tricks like "drop it" and is working on his manners, like not jumping up for attention. Rocky craves closeness and has a soft personality, making him the perfect snuggle buddy after a long day of adventures. He's looking for a family who can give him direction, reassurance, and, most importantly, love. Could you be the one to offer this affectionate pup his forever home? He will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Rocky would love to meet them. He has an “all in” very excited approach with a soft body. I have an older dog also. Which I am keeping. Ka'ta'yo, is 3 yrs old, Lab mix he is very smart. He knows how to fetch, etc... he does listen well for the most part. I am 63 and not able to walk and play like I used to. He loves the neighbor kids that come over to play with him, and walks him. He does jump a bit, but other than that he is very good. He is still kinda a pup who needs more attention that I can give at this point in my life.
