If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC   Boone is a beautiful, friendly Black Lab who 12 year old and 60 pounds.  Boone is such a good boy who deserves another good home. His owner had him since he was a puppy but unfortunately his owner has serious health issues and can longer care for Boone.  They loved Boone so much, they choose to give him up for adoption so he could continue to have a great life. Boone loves humans and canines.  He loves playing fetch with his humans more than playing with other dogs. He has not been around cats or children, so we are not sure how he would behavior.  Older children would probably be best.  Boone is housebroken and has great house manners, so he does not need to be crated when we are not home.  Boone has a lot of energy for an older dog.  A fenced yard would be nice to have.  But if he doesn't have a fenced yard, he would need a daily walk and some serious play time.  Bonne is leashed trained and he is very well behaved on our walks. Boone's loves to play fetch.  You should plan on purchasing a ball launcher or have a good arm!  His love of fetch knows no bounds: hot or cold, day or night, rain or shine, he's always ready to play. He loves butt scratches, ear massages and belly rubs.  He'll join you on the couch or bed or be content with his dog bed.  Boone is looking for a family to play fetch with him and love him for the sweet boy he is.  He will need a home with another dog or with a human who is home most of the time. He is not used to being totally alone. My name is Cletus and my foster family says I'm the smartest puppy they've ever met! My foster mom is a positive reinforcement dog trainer so my training started early. We're currently working on basic skills like focus, sit, down, come, and leave-it. Promoting manners and patience along the way!  I'm crate, house, and potty-trained. I sleep in my crate throughout the entire night without a peep!   I love adventure! Car rides are fine by me. What's that? You wonder if I'm friendly with strangers? You betcha! My foster family is very active so I’m used to a busy home and love it! Although I love a busy and exciting home, I'm a pretty quiet doggo with a moderate energy level. I've been known to stay content in my crate for up to 4 hours at a time.    A fenced yard would be great but isn't totally necessary! I am familiar with a doggy door already so that's a plus if you have one! Being outside is so much fun! I love bonding with my humans, playing with tons of toys, and wrestling with other doggos. I'm an all-around pretty cool pup who would love an outdoorsy companion to take me on hikes and swims at the lake! Looking for a puppy!  Look no further since Travis could be THE one!    Travis is a fun loving handsome puppy who is looking for his forever home after being cared for by Best Friend Pet Adoption since he as only two days old.  Look at him now and read his story below.   He loves to play with his siblings and is working hard on his housebreaking skills.  He sleeps in an open crate within a puppy pen where he feels safe and comfortable.     Travis would be a great dog. You should consider Kit Kat. She was born on is 12/17/23 and has been under foster care since she was born.  Her   Mom is lab mix who weighs 52 lbs.  Kit Kat weighed 21 lbs at the end of  March, so she may be larger than her Mom when fully grown.     She is fun loving puppy who is eager to explore the world. Please see her cute video!       She is housebroken. But being a puppy, she should be let outside on a regular basis.   She loves to cuddle and be around people. Have you ever wanted a dog that could at times be confused for a potato, a pig OR a t-rex? Then Tesla is your girl!Tesla (affectionately called Tessa by her foster parents) is the sweetest, cutest, and most quirky little lady you’ll ever meet. Tesla is ~7 years old but has the face of a small puppy and the body shape of a hippo.She is quite the lazy lady and is content to snore the day away on the couch with some breaks for chewing (she is a power chewer!). She is looking for a loving home with people who will give her all the belly rubs! She has lived with dogs and cats alike and likes to hang out with them. She doesn't typically play with other dogs but has played with certain ones in the past that inspired her playful side. More often she will just lounge on the couch near her dog and cat friends. She has also been known to take a nap laying on her cat friend.She LOVES a good belly rub and will let you know she enjoys it with her little piggy grunts. When you start to rub her belly she will slowly rotate until she’s gone “full Dino” and is laying on her back with her little feetsies up in the air.She originally came to the rescue as a former street dog and wow does she enjoy the lap of luxury now! She is still on the shy side with strangers but is now quick to warm up when she gets some treats.She’s a quiet dog who does not bark but will ALWAYS speak her mind with her little piggy grunts and t-rex noises. She has a lot of sass in that body and she likes to talk! She will let you know if you’re not feeding her treats fast enough! She loves to greet you when you come in the door or room with an excited squeal and a fun wiggle dance! She will make you feel so loved.She loves walks and enjoys a good stroll and sniff. She is great on her leash and she also enjoys going on slow meandering hikes (but not too intense because remember, she is a potato!).She’s fully housetrained and is accustomed to lounging on the couch and snuggling up in a cozy blanket. She’s a high class lady.She does have persistent skin allergies and needs to eat special food and have regular Apoquel and Cytopoint to avoid allergy flare ups. Her flare ups cause bright pink skin and make her scratch herself until she bleeds so it’s very critical that her owner keeps up with her maintenance medications for life.
