Story
Meet Golden, a 3-year-old, 65-pound mixed-breed masterpiece who was apparently assembled using equal parts enthusiasm, legs, and snack radar.Golden can be a little nervous when you first meet him. He might size you up like, “Are you cool? Do you have snacks?” But give him a minute (and maybe a treat), and he’ll warm up faster than leftovers in a microwave. Once you’re in, you’re IN. Expect full-body wiggles and the kind of greeting that suggests you’ve just returned from a year-long expedition, even if you only went to the mailbox.Let’s talk about his greatest passion: treats. Golden loves treats. He respects treats. He would consider writing poetry about treats if he could hold a pen. This boy is highly food motivated, which is fantastic for training — because while he does know how to sit, he also believes jumping up is an excellent way to say hello. Four paws on the floor is a work in progress, but he’s very willing to negotiate… especially if snacks are involved. On leash, Golden currently identifies as a sled dog. He pulls hard and with conviction, as though the entire neighborhood urgently needs to be explored immediately. With some consistent training and positive reinforcement (see: treats, glorious treats), he has all the potential to transform into a polite walking companion. Right now, he just thinks every walk is the championship round.Golden is a high-energy guy who would thrive with an active home ready for adventures, playtime, and mental enrichment. He’s shown interest in other dogs and may enjoy a canine buddy, especially one who appreciates an enthusiastic introduction. Because of his size and bouncy hello style, sturdy kids would be the best match. Cats are currently a mystery — Golden hasn’t shared his official position yet.Underneath all that energy is a very sweet, affectionate boy who bonds quickly and loves his people hard. If you’re looking for 65 pounds of loyalty, laughter, and joyful chaos wrapped up in a handsome package named Golden, your search might just be over.

Story
Hi! Hi! Oh—sorry, I got excited. My name is Moe, and I’m a 4-year-old mixed breed with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. I’m the kind of guy who believes life is a party and everyone I meet is invited. When I say hello, I might bark or try to jump because WOW YOU’RE HERE and I’m thrilled—but I’m learning that calm greetings are a thing, and I just need a human who can show me how to take a breath and slow my tail wag down a notch. I’m super active, bubbly, and always ready for fun. Walks? Yes. Adventures? Absolutely. Treats? PLEASE. I am very food motivated, which means I’m eager to learn and will happily work for snacks (and praise… but mostly snacks). I love people, do great with kids, and I’m even cool with cats—pretty impressive, right? Perfect fun family dog! Other dogs make me a little unsure at first. I’m not rude, just shy and avoidant, so if I’m going to have a dog sibling, they’ll need to be polite, patient, and give me time to feel safe. Once I warm up, I do much better—I just don’t rush friendships. I’ll be honest with you, because I want this to be forever: I can be a bit protective of my bones, though I`d rather move away from you than have any kind of confrontation about it. It comes from fear, not mean intentions, and I’ll need a home that understands me and is willing to help me work through that with kindness, structure, and maybe some professional guidance. If you’re looking for a joyful, goofy, loving best friend who’s ready to learn and eager to love, I might just be your Moe. I promise to bring the fun, the wiggles, and a whole lot of heart.

Story
Hi, I`m Winston! Don`t let my pictures fool you! I`m a pretty tall guy with some long fabulous legs!I’m a 5-year-old good boy with a big heart and an even bigger bark. Don’t let that first “WOOF!” fool you — I just like to announce important things… like strangers existing. I take my neighborhood watch duties very seriously. But here’s a little secret: if you have a treat, we’re probably going to be best friends in about 3 seconds.Once I realize you’re not a suspicious squirrel in disguise, I’m all tail wags and happy wiggles. I love making new friends, especially the kind who scratch behind my ears and tell me I’m handsome (which I am).I’ve got lots of energy — zoomies are basically my superpower. Long walks? Yes please. Fetch? Absolutely. Random bursts of running around the living room like I just remembered something important? Also yes. I’m always ready for the next adventure. Now… I do have one tiny quirk. I sometimes believe that if something fits in my mouth, it might be food. Socks? Maybe. Random objects? Possibly. I’ve been known to swallow things I definitely shouldn’t, so I need a human who will keep a close eye on my creative life choices and make sure I have safe, durable toys that can handle my enthusiasm. Supervision is just part of loving a guy like me!I’m still polishing up my “sit,” “stay,” and not pulling you too much on leash. I like to think of myself as a work in progress — a very enthusiastic, sometimes distractible work in progress. With a little patience (and maybe a few snacks), I know I can totally nail the basics. I`m a very smart guy!At the end of the day, I’m just a super nice, high-energy guy who wants to love my people, explore the world, and maybe bark at the mailman just a little. I promise I mean well. And if you’ve got treats? We’re already friends.
