Story
Age: 7 years Weight: 55lbs Good with dogs? No Good with cats? No Good with kids? No Energy Level: Moderate/low Adoption Fee: $100.00 Any other info: Meet Daisy! Daisy is a sweet senior Lab mix who's been in and out of the shelter for far too long—much longer than she's ever known the comfort of a real home. Despite her past hardships, Daisy's personality shines through with every joyful wiggle and happy feet dance she does when she sees her favorite people. Her expressive and animated face tells a thousand stories, and she's overflowing with love to give. Daisy's past has left her wary of children, and it seems she may have had some traumatic experiences with them. Because of this, she's looking for a home where she can be the only "child," without having to share with any kids or other pets. Daisy has undergone surgery in the past and is currently on a journey to shed a few pounds. And she's doing great sticking to her goals! She'll need to continue her joint supplements and may require pain medication to keep her comfortable in her golden years. This lovable girl has a knack for escaping surprisingly, so her new home will need to keep a close eye on her and ensure she stays safe and secure and can't go running out the front door. While Daisy is silly and sweet, she doesn't take kindly to strangers in her home all the time, so a low-traffic, low-energy environment is ideal. She dreams of a cozy spot to snuggle up with her humans and be spoiled rotten. Daisy is around 7 years old and a staff favorite. But our hearts are breaking watching her grow old in the shelter. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. Daisy's been in the shelter far too long and is yearning for a forever home where she can finally relax and feel loved. She hates going back into her cage every day, and who could blame her? Are you ready to give Daisy the loving, peaceful home she deserves? Let's get her out of the shelter and into the caring arms of her forever family! If you have the perfect home for Daisy, please apply through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with Daisy. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page. The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Please email the application to adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net or drop it off in person during our business hours. Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed along with your application. Please allow us a few days to contact you about your application as we do get many in on a daily basis. Story
🐾 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐳𝐳𝐲! 🐾 This beautiful Labrador Retriever, nearly 2 years old, is eagerly seeking her forever home. Izzy needed to find a new home due to health challenges, specifically Masticatory Muscle Myositis diagnosed by OVRS specialty. This autoimmune condition causes inflammation and muscle loss in the jaw and face if not treated early enough. Her owner sought assistance, and we answered the call to help Izzy. Through our care, Izzy has regained her health and has been spayed. As she moves forward, ongoing medical monitoring for potential relapses and adjusted vaccination protocols will be discussed with potential adopters. Please consider filling out an application today to meet Izzy!❤️ ▪️Almost 2 years old/ Female ▪️Labrador Retriever ❇️Loves walks, especially climbing rocks and exploring new spaces ❇️Big cuddler and enjoys watching fish while fishing, but lacks patience for long waits ❇️ Enthusiastic explorer who brings back sticks she likes ❇️ Bones are her favorite toys; she'll find one when asked ❇️ Smart but independent in her actions ❇️ Gets zoomies after baths ❇️ Friendly with everyone; but can bark at times if she’s unsure ❇️ Gets along with cats but likes to chase them ❇️ Loves playing with other dogs in circles and chasing them ❇️ Eager eater; always hungry ❇️ Skittish around men but warms up with time ❇️ Sometimes plays rough due to excess energy ❇️ Listens well unless distracted by squirrels ❇️ Responds to names like "Izzer," "Izzasorus Rex," "Izzy," and "Izz Whiz" 🔗𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲: https://airtable.com/appRel0u6Xk5zFI8e/shrgRzyCwZOVjZUxp

Story
Otis has just reached his 3rd birthday (April 9th 2022) and this whole experience is a hard one for me as his owner. I received him as a gift when he was 2 weeks old and we have had a pretty tight bond for the past 3 years now. He has traveled with me as I have moved for work and he has been a great companion throughout my work journey with my company. My struggle with him now is, I live in a condo and he really needs more space. Also, my work schedule and the growing dog that he is, challenges me to think that I must place him in someone's home who can give him the time and attention he needs to thrive and continue to develop well. He is pretty energetic and stronger now and placing him with a new owner that is looking to take care of a dog like him and allow that youthful energy to be released on a more regular basis would be great for him.

Story
This is my six year old lab mix named Lillie. I have had her since she was two weeks old and she is the best dog I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I am relocating and it would be in her best interest to find a new home. She doesn’t do very well with other dogs, but is extremely loyal to humans. She listens very well and wants to please you. She is very loving, but can also be independent when needed. I am looking for a good home for her. I am located in Michigan😊

Meet Thunder – Your Next Adventure Buddy! Thunder is a 3-year-old, 50lb German Shorthaired Pointer looking for his forever home! This handsome guy is AKC registered, ,microchipped, bird-trained, and knows his basic commands like sit, shake, lay down, come, and (sometimes) stay. He’ll even point—just like a true GSP pro! Thunder is super friendly, playful, and absolutely loves cuddle time. He loves car rides and family trips. He’s great with kids (though we recommend supervision with younger ones), and surprisingly good with cats. He’s not a fan of other dogs, so he'd do best as your one-and-only pup.
