PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Poppy is just gorgeous! One blue eye, one brown. **We have some videos of her, facebook won’t let us post videos and pics together. Message us to see the videos! She and her siblings were dumped in a restaurant parking lot. Just babies, they were terrified of all the traffic on the busy street, and they huddled together in fear, hungry and cold. Thankfully, our amazing foster mom, Kim, sprang into action and scooped them up before something even worse happened to them! Poppy and her sisters are sweet, loving babies. Poppy is sweet and playful. She can be a little shy until she warms up and then loves on you until she passes out. She is about 3 months old currently. We believe she is lab/husky mix. They are friendly, energetic, smart little girls who have so much love to give! They are fully vetted and available now! Good with other dogs. She hasn’t been around cats but is young enough to learn to live with them. Same for little kids; hasn’t been around them, but she’s just a baby and is sweet and friendly. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.ChloeChloe is a very astute pup! She is an absolute sweetheart, very lovable, playful, smart! Her favorite thing to do is to run around outside with myself and her foster sisters. As long as she is around us, she’s happy as a clam. Chloe is very shy at first, and warms up slowly. She needs to be shown new people and things are okay. We are working on building her confidence with new things, but in very small baby steps. She is not a fan of running vehicles or car rides. It is possible as she grows up and gains more confidence she could be, but not guaranteed. So far she is a home body type of gal.   The best home for Chloe is a family, or person with at least one other dog. The more the merrier because she responds and opens up quicker with other pups around. She is not a fan of traveling, but could be someday if introduced slowly and correctly.   She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, can sit on command, has great recall, and sleeps through the night majority of the time. House training is going well with some accidents here and there.  Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way. Young enough to learn to be gentle with children.  Chloe is about 5 1/2 months old and just under 30lbs. Her mom is a mix, and looks like a mini Golden Retriever. It is likely that Chloe is very mixed with several breeds. Dad is unknown.   She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   We have videos of this girl too. Facebook won’t let us post pics and videos together, shoot us a message and we’ll send you the videos!   In New England   To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059  Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any details questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Connie is a 3 1/2 month old puppy who was abandoned when her owners moved. They simply packed up all of their valuables and left behind what they deemed trash, including this beautiful puppy. Life can be so unfair for some of these innocent ones. But we are here to make sure her future will be so bright it is blinding. We will make sure the next chapter in her story will be so good, she will forget the past. Connie is an incredibly well behaved puppy. She is crate trained. She is working on house training. She is very well behaved and respectful with cats, as well as dogs, and she is gentle and sweet with kids. She has a maturity that is unusual for a puppy her age. She's an old soul in a young body. She is very friendly and social with everyone. She walks very well on leash. I am unsure of her breed, but she is gorgeous. She is going to be a big girl, probably 60+ lbs when grown. She is about 25-30 lbs now. She will be ready to go to her new home in a few weeks, once she is spayed. This is a fantastic puppy who will be a great addition to any family. We do not know her breed. The website makes us pick a breed when listing dogs; I'm sure she is a mix of several breeds!    Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. How is it possible that such a beautiful, good baby has waited so long? I just don't understand. Dustin has had a tough start in life, but you’d never know it by the way he loves. This handsome little guy is a bit timid at first, but once he warms up, he’s all about snuggles and lap time. He finds so much comfort in just being close to his person. Dustin also LOVES playing with other dogs and he’s good with cats; he’d thrive in a home with a furry friend to keep him company. He’s learning every day what it means to feel safe and loved, and he’s ready to find that special someone who will give him the forever he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a playful spirit, Dustin might just be your perfect match. Dustin is fully vetted and ready to find his forever family. We expect he’ll be medium-sized (about 30-40 lbs) when fully grown. In New England Apply to adopt here: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Questions? We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/14/25 Sanford is in need of a foster home or adopter. When i say this is a WONDERFUL dog, I mean it with all my heart. This guy is the easiest dog ever. He bothers absolutely nothing. He is so content to just curl up in his bed and sleep all day. He is almost totally house trained (only a couple accidents when I didn't let him out fast enough). He's quiet and you wouldn't even know he's there, except when he hears a car start up, because he wants to ride. He is soooo submissive to other dogs which brings me to the reason for looking for another foster/adopter. My dogs all have strong personalities. No one has attacked him or anything like that. But one growl from one of them, and he immediately goes to his crate or the bathroom closet that he has claimed as his own. It breaks my heart for him to be so secluded. Tonight, for the first time, I got him to come into the living room with us while we were having some down time. I was so proud of him for finally having the courage to come in here! He was doing great, until he came to rest his head on the back of the couch behind me, and Thelma snapped at him. He immediately ran to the bathroom and now won't come back. It's so sad. He wants to be with people. He LOVES ALL PEOPLE. And he would love a dog companion who is mellow like him, that would accept him. He is very sensitive and gets his feelings hurt when my dogs are ugly to him, and it breaks my heart so much to see him hide away, spending all day and night alone. He deserves better than this. He has the kindest, most gentle soul, and all the love in the world to give. His only negative is that he will bolt if you don't have a fence. I don't think he really wants to get away, he just seems to have that hound mentality and follows his nose, which could be dangerous for him. So a secure fence would be best. It doesn't have to be super tall, ours in only 4ft in front and he has never tried to jump or climb it. Other than that, he is the perfect companion and friend. Sanford came to us with a badly broken jaw. He is estimated 10 years old. We've had his jaw repaired, but he still has a tooth that sticks out and his bottom lip is droopy. This is just how he is now, and I've told him it only makes him more interesting and handsome. He does have heartworm and has just finished his 30 days of doxy, so he will be getting his injections to get rid of the heartworms this week. We hope and pray for no complications with that. We just want him to be healthy. He is the sweetest, most kind hearted dog I've ever met. And he deserves to spend the rest of his life surrounded by a family who loves him, not secluded in a crate or closet all alone. If you would consider opening your home to this distinguished gentleman, please message me with any questions or more info. Whoever ends up with him will be so lucky. He will love you with his whole heart. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
