PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Updated info as of 7/10/24:  Nash is still waiting to find his people! He is a wonderful dog and will make a good addition to most any family.  In addition to his superior snuggling skills, Nash checks all the extra good boy boxes.&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 friendly&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 loves other dogs&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 loves cats&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 fantastic with all humans regardless of gender, age, or size&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 house trained&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 leash trained&#226&#156&#133&#239&#184&#143 knows some basic commandsAnd on top of all of that, he is young but is getting out of the crazy busy puppy stage. Best of both worlds here! Nash is about 5 months old and he is a big boy at about 50-60 lbs. We believe he will be about 80 pounds when full grown. But he is the epitome of 'gentle giant.' He's not high energy, especially considering his young age. He is quite literally a perfect companion. Don't miss out on this amazing pup!  A DNA test done on Nash shows that he is: 25% Great Pyrenees, 17% American Pit Bull Terrier, 12% Australian Cattle Dog, 8% German Shepherd, with several other small percentages of other breeds mixed in (Boxer, Chow, Collie, Lab, Chihuahua, Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, American Eskimo Dog). He is VERY mixed!  Good with cats, dogs, and kids. He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. NOT SAFE! URGENT! Fergal and his sister, Orla, were dumped in a neighborhood that is a common dumping ground for unwanted pets. 2 of the residents have been working together to feed them and they are doing their best to keep them safe. However, neither is able to take these 2 in, due to their own pets being unfriendly with other dogs. So Fergal and Orla are wandering the neighborhood, just hanging out, until something develops. We have vaccinated them and tested for heartworms, which was negative. We have started them on heartworm, flea, and tick preventives. They are scheduled to be spayed and neutered soon, but we need a place for them to go once they are fixed. These kids are only about 6 months old and about 35 lbs. They wont get much larger. They are so friendly and sweet; they just soak up affection like they've been starving for it. They are good with other dogs. The main concern right now is for their safety. Although the 2 kind hearted residents are doing their best for them, there are others in the neighborhood who don't want them hanging around, and I'm worried they'll be shot or carried off and dumped. There is also the worry that they could be hit by a car, and many other horrible scenarios. If you are looking for a good natured, medium sized dog, please consider one (or both) of these babies. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Eddie was rescued in a rural neighborhood. He was found eaten up with fleas and heart worm positive. Eddie survived all of it to find a loving home! He is good with other non dominant dogs. He has never been around kids or cats but he loves everything he meets. He is house trained and crate trained. He is just beginning to learn what a toy is and being a dog means. He is not a chewer. Eddie loves to lounge around and loves affection! He would thrive with someone who has a fenced backyard and makes him the center of attention! He is a mature guy at about 10 years old. He is heartworm negative, utd on vaccs, and will be neutered next week. He weighs about 35 lbs.Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
