Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/23/24 Magnus and Smokey have been listed for over a year and they still wait.  Their foster mom loves them so much but they deserve homes of their own! They do NOT need to be adopted together. These boys are so friendly, happy, and loving! Their 3 brothers have been adopted and all of them are doing so well in their adoptive homes. Unfortunately, Smokey and Magnus are living outside in a fenced area. Their foster mom takes in many dogs and a safe outside space is the only option she has for them (far better than being a stray where they'd be hit by a car, abused, starved etc.).  They are about 1.5 years old (estimated DOB July 2022) and we believe they are Silver Lab mix. They are very playful, sweet, and lovable. Good with other dogs. Cats….probably not. They haven’t been around kids and would probably not be the best match for small kids. They would never hurt a child on purpose, but they are bigger boys and would easily knock over little ones. Even though they live outside, their foster mom spends a lot of time with them.  Lets get these boys into nice warm homes with a comfy couches to lay on!Also available for foster!! Neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.9/16/23 Still available 4/24/23 Still available!    3/14/23 Could this guy be any cuter?? Here’s what his foster mom says about him-  Dale (40 lbs) was taken in from a bad situation, along with his brother Dink (35 pounds), in May 2022, along with many other dogs. The owner failed to spay and neuter his dogs, but seemed to keep most all of the puppies. There were so many dogs living there. We were contacted when he was being evicted and wasn’t taking any of the dogs with him. They were very shy upon intake, but have made tremendous progress! Dale LOVES to play! He loves running around in the yard and playing with his toys and other dogs. We would love to see him go to a home with another dog for him to play with. He is good with older kids, might be a little too rambunctious around small children. Not aggressive in any way, he just might accidentally knock little ones over. He enjoys cuddling, especially with my son in his bed at night. He is not completely housebroken, but he does use the pads inside during storms, etc. Working on the leash, he'd much rather run! Not cat tested. His breed is anyone’s guess! He kind of looks like a shrunken Lab! Dale was heartworm positive on intake but he's been treated and is now ready to find his forever home! He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
