Story
🖤 Meet Cassidy — A Loyal Heart Ready to Love Again 🖤 Cassidy came back to us on November 1st, 2024, after the sudden passing of her beloved owner. She's approximately 9½ years old, a beautiful Black Lab mix, weighing 78 lbs, spayed, and fully up-to-date on all vaccinations. Despite her age, Cassidy is full of life and love. She’s playful and gentle with her toys, enjoys a good game of tug-o-war, and thrives on puzzle games that challenge her smart mind. Cassidy also has a softer side — she absolutely adores blankets and cuddle time. Cassidy is: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Walks calmly on leash ✔️ Non-reactive to other dogs and people on walks ✔️ Quiet and observant indoors — she rarely barks, even at dogs barking outside While Cassidy coexists peacefully with other dogs in public, she truly thrives in a home where she is the only dog. She enjoys attention and affection so much, she prefers not to share her humans. She may play with other dogs under supervision, but likely never learned appropriate dog-to-dog play etiquette. Cassidy is a loving, affectionate companion who will gently nudge your hand for more pets and belly rubs. She's eager to share her golden years with someone who will appreciate her sweet soul and give her the loving home she so deserves. 💛 Cassidy would be a perfect companion for a single-person household or a couple looking for a calm, affectionate dog to share their life with. Can you give Cassidy the peaceful, loving forever home she’s been waiting for? Apply today and come meet this precious girl — she’s ready to bring joy to your heart.

Story
Hi, I'm Faith. I'm a young, sweet soul, a bit shy and very gentle. I love quiet moments and soft talks. I might take a little while to come out of my shell, but once I do, I promise to be your loyal friend. I dream of a home where I can feel safe and loved, where patience and gentle words help me blossom. If you're looking for a quiet companion to share calm days and peaceful nights, I'm here waiting. Let's make each other's world a little brighter. Why not come by and meet me? Maybe we could be great friends.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 1/31/26 Still available! 1/8/26 Balki is a super sweet and loving boy who is good with everyone-cats, dogs, and kids. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He weighs 40 lbs. We do not know his breed but our best guess is Lab mix. He has long legs and a slim build. He loves other dogs and does well with cats.  Great with kids! He is about 6 months old.  He had a very hard start in life. He was in a shelter where he contracted parvo virus and barely survived. But he fought hard to live and he won! He beat the dreaded parvo and is now regaining weight and doing so well! He is a great little guy who likes everyone. We believe he may have been dumped before he ended up at the shelter because he is scared of cars. When walking on leash, if he is near a car or truck, he gets visibly scared and will try to pull away. Once he is inside the car he does fine. He just has some emotional scars that are still healing. But he's getting better all the time, thanks to a foster helping him feel safe.  He will likely be a big boy once grown. He is a little delayed in his growth due to having parvo, but he will catch up soon. We believe he will be around 60 lbs once grown. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Balki is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Freddie is a 2 year old cutie who is fully grown at 34 pounds. He's full of energy and loves attention. Freddie loves to explore, and is very observant and interested in what is going on around him. He seems to be potty trained and is a good big brother. He loves other dogs, pets, and being called handsome. Freddie belongs in a home where he can run and play or go on walks, but still gets those sweet puppy snuggles. Freddie's favorite thing in the world is being petted, so he's sure to be loyal to anyone with hands.
