Story
Hi, we have two chocolate labs we need to rehome. They are brothers and are about 6 months old. We are having a baby soon and are doing a full remodel of our home, so we found we cannot take care of them the way we thought. They are very sweet energetic dogs, they love being around people, they are crate trained and potty trained as well. You can take one or both but would love to keep them together if possible. $300 OBO. Happy to answer any questions

Story
Boo (lighter brown) is a purebred chocolate lab acquired from a neighbor to keep my mom company. Bear, the darker chocolate lab, is Boo's son. Boo is very independent, but Bear has known nothing but to be with his mom his entire life. They do need to be together, at least Bear. He is too emotionally attached to his mom. Both are extremely friendly with humans. They are loyal, sweet, loving, caring, obedient, playful, and love being around humans. Both houses are broken and kennel-trained, and they are always hungry! They are both great with other animals. Boo is spayed, but Bear is not. Boo is an adult, about ten years old, and Bear is about six years old now. Looking for a home that would give them love and attention. My mother, who takes care of them, and loves them to death, is not 89 years old, and she is having a hard time attending to their needs. Other family members have allergies, and others don't have the space and time to take them.

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of cats and dogs from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption to match them to their purrfect family by having them in foster homes so that we can assess their behaviors, how they decompress in a home, and find out more about their unique personalities. We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5-year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
