This is Stella, she is the absolute best dog ever and we are so devastated that we cannot keep her with us anymore. We are looking for a home for Stella where someone is home more often with her than we can provide. She has stage 2 kidney disease which is well controlled with diet/medication, but she needs to be able to go potty about every 6-8 hours (9 at the max) to filter her kidneys. We are looking for someone who has a yard she can play in and a family that can offer her all the love and attention she can handle! She is a very sweet, friendly, and energetic dog and anybody would be lucky to have her. Again we are extremely devastated to have to be rehoming our sweet baby, but it’s what is best for her and her health! She’s well trained (kennel trained-enters on command, sit, stay, shake, speak- will only bark if told “speak”, lay down, come, etc.) She loves people and does well with kids and other dogs -unknown about cats.

Tie is an incredible dog that is in need of a loving owner and/or family. I have raised him since he was a puppy, is crate trained, has good leash manners and basic commands (sit, down, stay, roll over, and recall in an enclosed area). He’s a gentleman at dog parks and is friendly with all humans and children. We recommend no children under 5, given his size and general energy. Tie is a total sweetheart and would do best in a home with plenty of space and a fully fenced-yard (or someone with a very active lifestyle for many daily walks/runs). He’s excellent with my 5-year-old and connects easily with new humans (he loves cuddles and as much play time as you can give him.) He would also do best with a family who can walk him or take him to dog-parks frequently; he will be as active as you are (for hikers, campers, etc.). He is used to being crated when I’m working and out of the house. I’ll provide all of his bedding, crate, leash/collar/harness, toys, current food and treats.

I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven!    I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return.     I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come!    As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. This beautiful boy is Perigee.  Perigee needs a special family that will work with his special needs.  Perigee has Mega Esophagus.  If you haven't heard of this condition, then read on:   Megaesophagus is mouthful of a name for a rare condition that affects dogs, cats, and humans too! Those in the know refer to it as “ME” or “Mega E” and many are passionate about spreading the word to help pet owners and potential adopters understand that megaesophagus can be managed and dogs can lead fairly normal lives with ME.  Read on to find out more about ME and see if you’re one of the compassionate adopters who are willing to incorporate the routine of a homeless Mega E Baby into your home! So what is megaesophagus? “Megaesophagus refers to a syndrome in which the esophagus becomes weak and flaccid, and subsequently becomes much larger than normal, hence the term megaesophagus. A pet with ME needs the help of gravity to transport food to their stomach after they eat. They don’t throw up, but rather regurgitate their food before it reaches their stomach. While for many pets there is no cure, there are proven management techniques that help many ME dogs and their owners enjoy long and happy lives together! Depending on the type and severity of the ME, owners figure out if and which medications and feeding routines will help the most. One of the more popular – and quite adorable – techniques is the use of a “Bailey Chair” to help an ME pup stay upright. I’m fully house trained and crate trained. I came into rescue rovers 2 years ago as a “feral” puppy. This means I didn’t get to interact with humans for the first few months of my life. Because of this I’m very shy with new people, especially men. I really come out of my shell when other dogs are around! I currently live with 3 dogs and it’s just fantastic! I love having furry friends to play with and snuggle on fuzzy blankets. I’m even good with cats. I need a patient forever family that’s committed to training and pushing me. My foster mom has been taking me on lots of pack hikes. At first it was scary but now I absolutely love it! I have the cutest little howl when I get excited and have mastered jumping into the truck by myself (it’s a big deal guys!) I love toys, especially squeaky balls. I’m getting into playing tug and once I feel safe with my people I give the best snuggles!
