Chicken Nugget is looking for his forever home. Preferably without kids but he absolutely adores other dogs! He is just a super cuddly snuggle bug and walks nicely on a leash when given appropriate support. He's also still working on having nice house manners but he gets better every day! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Lucky Charms! I'm a 42-pound, lovable Lab mix with a lot of heart. I may be a tripod, but don't let that fool you-I get around just fine and nothing slows me down! I'm full of energy, but also know how to enjoy a good cuddle session with my favorite humans. I'm super friendly and love hanging out with other dogs, so if you have any furry friends at home, we'll get along great. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and even know how to use a dog door! I'm a pretty smart guy and I love staying active, especially when toys are involved. Whether it's playing tug-of-war, or chewing on a squeaky, I'm always up for fun. I get along well with kids over 8 years old. I've got medium energy, so l enjoy walks and playtime but also love curling up next to you for some relaxation. I'm good on a leash and ready for whatever adventures the day brings. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a lot of love to give, I'm your guy. Lucky Charms is ready to bring some extra joy into your life!  Apply to meet me today at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 8, 2025, 7:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Rae and I’m a 3.5 year old "lab mix". I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I'll keep you warm at night and make sure you're never lonely <3   If you think you could be the family for me, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 2, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet your best buddy, me! I'm Perigee and I'm close to 2 years old and weigh around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. I’m fully grown  and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing, cuddling or laying about the house!   My foster mom says my best quality is how calm and sweet I am with people and kids. I live with two kids at the moment, one of which gives me lots of hugs and throws my favorite squeaky toy for me. I'm friendly to everyone and not timid. I like other dogs and love to play. I also live with a cat and am on my best behavior with him.    I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive, walk well on my harness, and do well in most environments. I'm curious about the world and love seeing new things. I’m also a pro at car rides and sit politely while watching the world go by. I love being with you wherever you are and just want to be your buddy. If you do need to leave me at home I'm fine in my crate until you come back.   I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am on the lookout for any spare food but can be content with my favorite toys instead.  I love small tuffed toys that squeak and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster thinks I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy, and I come with my chair and other supplies.    Do you think you could be the buddy I've been waiting for? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 24, 2025, 4:13 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey, new besties! I am Roberta! I give off Dug from “Up” vibes, the quote that best embodies me is “My name is Bertie. I have just met you, and I love you.” I adore just about everyone I meet at first sight and I love kids too! Right now I would probably be best around older kids as I have a wiggly body when I am really happy and may bump over smaller children, I am a good girl about not jumping up though. I am 1 year old and 58 pounds but am a bit underweight, I shouldn’t grow any bigger but I should fill out a bit more. I am the happiest gal around, even after I was abandoned by my former owners at a dog sitter’s home, my light can’t be dimmed! I love to play with people and other dogs! When I came into my new foster home from the shelter I took a little time to warm up to my foster siblings (there be some big dogs in this place!) This is likely also due to the new home jitters, and perhaps a little lack of confidence. With a structure, a routine, and a solid human leader to love me, I will thrive when meeting new dogs. Now that I am comfortable and adjusted in my foster home I love to bounce around and play! I love to wrestle and play tug of war with a stick with my foster siblings. After some fun exercise and mental stimulation I am ready for a good nap and boy do I have some creative sleeping positions.  I am very curious in cats but, the amazing trainer that has consulted on me thinks with a little work I could learn to live in harmony with them.  I am great in the crate! I sleep all night long without whining. I have learned to sit and stay in the crate after my foster mom opens the door and I don't come out until she gives the "okay". I haven't been destructive in the house. As long as I am let out regularly I don't have accidents in the house or my crate, I am such a good girl about using the doggy door and going potty outside. I love to cuddle humans! I could sleep in your lap for hours and my ears are as soft as the Velveteen Rabbit. I am so great in the car, I ride quietly (except you can sometimes hear my snoring from the backseat) and I don’t get car sick. I do need some fine tuning on the leash but I love to go for walks! Are you looking for the sweetest companion that will love you to the moon and back and is down for every adventure?
