I'm looking for a family to love ❤ I've been with my foster mom for over a year. She says I'm such a good boy, we can't figure out what my family is waiting for! Maybe they will see me today!   I am missing my back right leg. That makes me a tripod! But don't let that fool you - I get around just fine and nothing slows me down! I'm just over 2 years old, which means I'm full of energy, but also know how to enjoy a good cuddle session with my favorite humans. I'm super friendly and love hanging out with other dogs, so if you have any furry friends at home, we'll get along great.   I'm crate trained, potty trained, and even know how to use a dog door! I also recently completed a basic obedience class! See how much I have to offer my forever family? I'm a pretty smart guy and I love staying active, especially when toys are involved. Whether it's playing tug-of-war, or chewing on a squeaky, I'm always up for fun. I get along well with kids, but I can be mouthy, so 8+ would be best.   I've got medium energy, so l enjoy walks and playtime but also love curling up next to you for some relaxation. I'm good on a leash and ready for whatever adventures the day brings. I won't be a big activity partner - rigorous hiking would be too much for me. I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I have a beautiful ash-colored coat that is as soft as my heart is kind.  I am calm and quiet, and my foster dad says I have a sweet, loving way about me.   I'm impressively well mannered! House trained - I use the doggy door on my own.  I walk nicely on a leash too. I'm great with other dogs - I live with ten right now, and I get along great with all of them. Fable is a playful one-year-old with a gorgeous white coat, toasted ears, and the sweetest eyes. We think she’s a golden retriever and dachshund mix, and she’s got the personality to match that combo. This girl loves other dogs and would do great with a playmate who can keep up with her energy. She’s always up for exploring and adventure. When she’s home, she’s glued to your side and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch or in bed. She’s still working on her potty training. Fable knows how to use the doggie door, but she’s only 80% sure that the doggie door should be used when nature calls. The good news is that she will use a strategically placed potty pad. She hasn’t been tested with cats and does have a prey drive with small animals. But if you’re looking for an affectionate, playful companion who just wants to be wherever you are, Fable might be your girl! Fable has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
