Story
We need to rehome Buddy (Black Lab). His best friend,Lacey(Siberian Husky)recently passed and he is super lonely. He is an outside dog now, but we rescued him from an inside dog home a year ago. We rescued him to be a friend for Lacey, and they were best buddies. He is healthy and 8 years old. He’s good with children and other dogs and just wants to be with people. He does have a bark, but it’s usually because he’s happy and excited for visitors. He also learned to speak husky which is cute. We are just not home enough to give him the attention he needs, and we aren’t ready to adopt another dog. Buddy did not have any records when we got him. He is current now for Rabies, but we have not gotten other shots.

Story
🐾 Meet Zoey: Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🤩Hello! I'm Zoey, a stunning 1.5-year-old female Labrador Retriever with a heart of gold and contagious, boundless energy! I am incredibly social, treating every stranger like a friend I haven't officially greeted yet. I am obsessed with playtime, particularly squeaky toys and fetch, and because I'm extremely food motivated, I'm ready to be a fast learner in training. As a high-energy girl, I need an active family committed to providing plenty of daily exercise (long walks, running, or hiking) and teaching me basic manners. Due to my youthful enthusiasm, the shelter requests children be 12 years and up. If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your life with slobbery kisses and tail wags, please ask to meet me! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 74 Age: 1yrs 7mths 0wks

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to Portland for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Looking for a new playmate for your furry friend? Look no further than Blake Richard! This guy loves to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He's a friendly fella who loves nothing more than spending time with his favorite people. He loves going on walks (he is working on his leash skills) and playing with toys. Blake is quiet, sweet, and good at listening to commands. He is house and crate-trained and we think he is good with kids, since he was around them when he was a puppy. If you're looking for a fun addition to your family, adopt Blake today! He is a little over a year old and 55 pounds. We think he is a mix between a lab and a border collie! Interested in becoming a forever home for Blake? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment.
