Story
Sadie Mae is a beautiful girl who loves to snuggle with her humans, go for walks and play in the yard. She would be a great dog for the right human - one who can walk her, has a nice yard to play in and the time to play with her. But, she does not do well with other dogs, nor cats or other small animals. So, being an only child with boundaries where she can safely expend her energy would be the ideal spot for her. She is house and kennel trained. Sadie needs spayed - which will be included in her $300 adoption donation. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out an application at sccpets.comIf you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.November 10, 2025, 10:56 pm

Story
I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:Hi, I'm Zeke, a gentle older boy who believes the best spot in the house is quietly by my person's feet or a couch snuggle. Sniffy walks and a good ball chase make my day. And a "good boy" treat is always welcome! I'm always a good boy, but I also need to watch my figure. I'm a sweet soul hoping for a calm home to share my mountain of love.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable with you.If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 8 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.Cats are interesting and I don't chase them. If there are any dogs living in my new home, I prefer to meet them before I'm adopted. Energetic young dogs aren't my speed, but I might be fine with a fellow distinguished canine friend. I mostly ignore the other dogs in my foster home.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Primary Color: Black Weight: 64 Age: 7yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Lulu is a rescue from the streets of Mexico. She is a little shy at first but when she gets to trust you she is the most loyal dog ever. She’s a quiet girl and pretty low maintenance. Just grateful to be in an home and have a cozy bed, she is completely housebroken and after a while she actually also enjoys cuddles and kisses. She will be okay with another dog that is calm but would definitely be okay to be an only dog. This girl is super sweet and special. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting her. 360 2580702 💕😍💕😍💕😍💕
