Story
Hi there, I'm Bowie! 💖 I'm a 11-month-old Labrador with a zest for life that's as bright as my smile. I'm a bundle of energy who loves to play fetch, chase squirrels, and explore the world around me. I can be a bit jumpy and mouthy when I'm excited, but I'm learning to channel my energy in more positive ways. Puzzle feeders, Kongs filled with treats, and plenty of playtime with my favorite toys help me settle down and focus!I'm the kind of guy who looooves to keep my people nearby, so I have a hard time letting them leave for the day (because who wants play time to stop??) - I'd thrive in a home that's not a rental since I have a loud voice (and will use it to communicate), and a home that is ready to teach me that time away doesn't mean the play stops - it just means the fun has just begun! Frozen slow feeders and kennel training could do me a world of good!I'm a quick learner and already know how to sit and shake (especially when there are treats involved!). I'm looking for an active family who can keep up with my puppy energy and provide me with the daily mental and physical stimulation I need to thrive. With a little patience, training, and lots of love, I'll be the perfect companion for your next adventure. If you're ready for a fun-loving, food-motivated furry friend who will bring endless joy and laughter to your life (and don't mind a little puppy exuberance), come meet me today! Primary Color: Black Weight: 69.4 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks

Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd + Border Collie Mix 10 months old Male 45 pounds Kids · Yes Dogs · Yes Cats · Yes I have a special delivery of love, acceptance, happiness, and good times here for… hmmm, that’s odd. There’s no label on this delivery. Excuse me, sir and madam? Were you by chance looking to accept devotion, love, and happiness? It seems like a pretty big shipment here and… Oh? You were? Well, that’s great! There seem to be some instructions here I am to read you…Looks like this delivery is good for a family with sturdy children, cats, and other dogs. Seems to be fully crate trained, housebroken, food motivated, and knows a few basic commands. It also says that this delivery has some sensitive skin, so must avoid those pesky fleas. Hmm, that seems to sound a lot like me. Wait a minute! I am that! I mean, that is me! I must be the delivery you were waiting for! Well, this works out great! Now if you could just sign here, please? My adoption fee is $280 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Labrador Retriever Mix 1 year old Male 42 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No Toby or Not Toby, that is the question—and the answer is Toby, of course! I mean, look at me! This smile can light up a room. My heart is as soft and shiny as this stunning coat of fur I wear upon my back. I’ll share my love with other dogs, but no cats, please. I will even enjoy the company of respectful older children 10+ who understand how to be very patient and understanding. Truth is, I’ll take all the love and affection I can get, but I want to feel safe! I’m still a pup and although I have had lots of training, like crate training and housetraining basic commands I want to find a family who will give me the time, guidance and structure I need to blossom into the best boy I can be. So, there you have it, all the answers you could need. It’s Toby of course! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
Hi! I'm Napoleon. I'm about 17 months old. My mom says I look like a lab wearing a tux (I'm very fancy!). I am about 60 lbs, but that doesn't stop me from sitting on laps. I am a medium to low energy guy; happy to walk on my leash (very nicely!), play at the park or daycare with my dog buddies and snuggle at home with my people. My parents want the best for me, so they hired a trainer to teach me to come when called, walk on a leash, and leave it when I am sniffing something particularly wonderful. I passed with A+ marks! I sleep in my crate at night and am happy to chill there during the day though my family recently started leaving me to roam the house while they are at work because I'm past those puppy days of chewing up shoes and dolls! I do love a good bone and a squeaky toy! I'm a superstar at daycare; both my doggy and human friends love me very much! I don't jump up or bark much at all. I am protective of my house, so I'd prefer a household with fewer visitors. I sometimes get nervous and can be aggressive toward visitors at my house (though I love meeting new people at the park!). I like kids and do well with them, but would be best in a household without children since I do require some extra attention when people come to visit. I'm lazy enough that I'd do fine in an apartment as long as you can walk me a couple times each day. I'd be happy as either a solo pup or in a house with other dogs. I like every dog that I've ever met! Napoleon Dynamite is an active, smart and snuggly dog. He enjoys walks (and doesn’t seem to tire out however when he gets home he definitely splays out for a rest), as well as seems perfectly suited for our PNW weather as rain doesn’t phase him at all. Crate trained, potty trained, great with other dogs, children. Needs a more low traffic home and would love to have a compatible friend. More to come! For playtime, Napoleon LOVES a solid game of fetch or tug. Fetch frequently turns into a nice energy release session of the zoomies which is again a prequel to nap time. He is a very smart boy and caught on quickly to the treat dispensing bob a lot toy with the opening reduced 50%, he loves nosing that around the floor to get his kibble to release. Don’t let the activity fool you though, he is a snuggler. After a play session Napoleon wants nothing more than to sit on your lap or sit on the floor leaning against your legs (or on top of your feet). Napoleon is great with kids, there are 3 in the house ranging from 4.5-11 years old. He is very patient and tolerant to loud noises or the occasional shout (but his head does whip around to see where the noise came from). There are no other pets in the house but on walks he does not pull or run after other dogs nor bark at them. He took to the crate like a pro as well and sleeps all night in there with only a few quiet whines at the start. During foster mom’s workday Napoleon also loves to lounge in and out of the crate for naps and relaxation in the same room (in between his walks and play sessions). Sneak perk! Watch for Napoleon Dynamite's write up online soon! You can still apply now! Streetsavvydogrescue.org "Adoption Application "
