This adorable 8-year-old Maltese mix from Fredericksburg, VA, is already showing everyone what a little sweetheart she is. Just a day after arriving at Lost Dog, Cupcake came out of her shell and started happily greeting staff and following them around wherever they go. Talk about a little shadow with a whole lot of charm! Cupcake loves being with her people and is happiest when she knows she has a friendly face nearby. She’s a petite girl with a big heart who is discovering that she has lots of new friends to adore. With her sweet personality emerging more and more, we can’t wait to see just how much this little girl blossoms. If you’re looking for a pint-sized companion who will happily stick by your side, Cupcake may be just the treat you’ve been waiting for! Meet Sprout, 5-6 years old This sweet little Maltese weighs around 6 pounds and is super sweet. Sprout was rescued from a puppy mill with his friend Cooper. He's a little bit shy for the first few minutes after meeting you but warms up when a guest gives him a yummy treat. Sprout is used to a secure, fenced yard, so CHR is asking that he go to a home with one. Since his rescue, he is LOVING life! He loves to run around the yard playing and enjoys climbing up to kiss you on your cheek. This little munchkin is used to being around other small dogs in the puppy mill, so we feel he would do best in a household with another small dog. We look forward to hearing from you!
