Meet Poof! This happy little lady is friendly, playful, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the action. At around one year old, she has a nice moderate energy level and appreciates having plenty of opportunities to play and explore throughout the day.
One of Poof’s favorite activities is racing around the backyard playing chase with her canine friends. She also enjoys neighborhood walks, playtime with her people, and generally having something fun to do. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, and her social personality makes her pretty enthusiastic about having friends of all kinds. She even has an adorable little skip-trot when she’s on the move that only adds to her cheerful personality.
Once the fun is over, Poof is more than happy to settle in for some serious cuddle time. She loves affection and being close to her people, but she isn’t looking to spend her entire day as a lap dog. She’s a young pup who will be happiest with a family that can balance snuggles with walks, playtime, and other appropriate outlets for her energy. Poof is potty trained, though like many dogs, she may have an initial accident or two while adjusting to a new home and routine. She is also kennel trained and may mildly protest for the first few minutes after being kenneled, but she settles quickly and is getting better with each day.
Playful, social, cuddly, and always looking pretty pleased with herself, Poof is ready for a family who will enjoy both sides of her personality: the happy little playmate and the affectionate cuddle buddy.
Poof is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Poof is friendly with dogs, cats, and children. She is potty trained, though an initial accident or two may occur while adjusting to a new home and routine. She is also kennel trained and may mildly protest for the first few minutes after being kenneled, but settles quickly and continues to improve with time. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
