Ron loves everyone he meets instantly. He's a total sweetheart who will roll over for a belly rub as soon as you meet him. He arrived to Colorado pretty tangled and matted but that didn't impact his happy-go-lucky spirit. He just got a fresh cut and it ready to find his forever home. He's friendly with other dogs and is intrigued by my cat but so far I haven't seen an aggressive bone in his body. He just wants to snuggle and be snuggled. But when the adopter never showed up, she was heartbroken. Left on the urgent high kill list, we rescued Professor McGonagall because we believe every dog deserves another chance at finding their forever home. She is a mini poodle mix who loves spending time with you, whether you are going on a stroll or cuddling up with a good book. Camilo is a wonderful older gentleman, about 10 years old, that just needs a safe, quiet place to land. He is very sweet, likes to be with his people, and is friendly with dogs and cats, but would be fine as an only dog too. The first night he was in my home, he showed me his super fast zoomies, with his ears flapping in the wind, showing his happiness. He is from a hoarding situation, but has had no accidents in the house. He has been sleeping in bed with me and is quiet thru the night. He also knows to sit and down for food and treats. He LOVES belly rubs and snuggling with you on the sofa. He also likes playing fetch!! Camilo is a bit nervous of strangers at first, so I recommend that you have company ignore him. It will take a day or two, but once he warms up to you, he sticks to you like glue! Camilo got groomed today! Harvey is a 4 month old poodle mix, who loves kids, dogs, cats, and toys! Harvey didn't have the easiest start - he was surrendered to us over a month ago with a broken hind leg, which required surgery. He had surgery shortly after, and a metal plate was put in to fix his femur fracture. Since then he has been doing very well, almost like he has no idea anything ever happened. He was walking the same day as his surgery, and can run, jump, and play like a normal puppy now. The vet doesn't anticipate he'll have issues with this leg anymore, except possible arthritis. Harvey is a very sweet and energetic boy, and loves snuggles. He is only about 8 lbs at 4 months of age, so our guess is he will be between 15-20lbs full grown. Harvey is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, and his adoption fee is $650.
