Story
Teddy is a beautiful senior miniature poodle, about 8 years old who was abandoned in Mexico and taken in by our sister rescue there. He is calm and mellow, gets along well with other dogs and loves to be around people. He has a very wide overbite which doesn't affect him leading a normal life and is healthy and happy. He would do best with a stay at home family with older,  respectful kids who are willing and able to be patient and take Teddy on walks and outings regularly, but also be around him a lot because that's what he enjoys the most. He is crate trained and has no issues being left alone an hour or so if needed.  He is learning to potty outside, but wears a belly band in the meantime inside the house to prevent him from marking. If you think Teddy is a good fit for your family, please send us an application.  Thank you! ##2143047##

Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of the midwest. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. These innocent souls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 17 lives of mums, dads & puppies including Oreo & his siblings & his sister Goldie who he is fostered with. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Oreo how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Oreo & his friends & sisters were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Look at this beautiful bundle of fluff, joy & happiness. This little chap is now loving life in his foster home. He now knows what toys are & loves playing with his toys & his freedom. He plays non stop with his beautiful little sister & they love each other dearly. He also gets to be loved by 2 little girls who adore Oreo & his sister. He is extremely sweet but is very loving & a very cuddly little chap. He really enjoys snuggling with you & we know he adores being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. He adores being kissed & hugged by his foster family & being a free spirit doing his own thing. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Oreo is a wonderful eater. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He currently sleeps with his sister as they are fostered together. He is such a very innocent puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone & is so very sweet. He is accepting with being bathed & groomed & tolerates the hairdryer. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. He is a puppy & we have not taken him out anywhere. He still needs to learn his puppy manners. Oreo rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home & to & from the vets with us & his loving foster home. But he does absolutely amazing in the. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Oreo as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Oreo where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Oreo is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Oreo has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & he is currently with his sibling in his foster home. He will be found snuggled up with his foster siblings. He absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home for him to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Oreo is roughly 10.6 lbs & he is roughly 9 months old & ‭a miniture poodle‬. He has put on weight since being in the rescue. What he is mixed with we are not sure. We treated him for coccidia & giradia as we do with all puppies. Male, he is neutered by laser, he is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHPP, bordatella, rabies & dewormed. He had a fully dental scale & polish & dental x-rays. He had a baby tooth retained along with a premolar that was removed. We have spent far more on Oreo with paying for him from a commercial breeder. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA & Omaha etc & bringing him to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. Oreo has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had him around small children & he adores them but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Oreo was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Oreo’s friends & siblings he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Oreo potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Oreo & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Oreo who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little Oreo. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Oreo has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Lily & her friends & siblings were bought back to the WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. It’s so funny to watch this sweetheart & her sister run for the first time as she & her sister Lilac looks as though a big ball of fluff is running. Her foster mum said you don’t even know she is in the home as she is just so sweet & innocent. Lily is the best of both worlds, she will play but then be happy to snuggle up with you on the couch. She can be a little stalker & loves both her foster mum & dad. She has mastered wooden stairs & can go up & down them no worries. She can also squeeze through a baby gate as she is that little so that needs to be considered. She is curious with being in the backyard but is never ever left alone outside. She will put leaves & dirt in her mouth while outside just for curiosity. This little lady is now loving life in her foster home. She now knows what toys are & loves playing with her toys. She has been learning to go potty on material potty pads. She is not too fond of being outside for too long. At first she did not have a clue about anything at all but has picked up things very quickly in her devoted foster home. She absolutely loves her foster siblings & sister. She is extremely sweet but is very loving & a very cuddly little lady. She really enjoys snuggling with you & we know she adores being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. At first she had no idea what it was to be held & loved but now she gets ready to be picked up. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over her head that’s not outside. Lily is a wonderful eater & we know that she is obsessed with food with the amount of weight she has put on in her loving foster home with the good nutrition she is getting. She eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, grains & proteins & is on supplements. She gets bully sticks & collagen sticks & loves them. Well she is absolutely obsessed with them. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. She currently sleeps with her sibling as they are fostered together & you will find them snuggled up together their foster mum said. Her sibling is Lilac. She absolutely loves to sleep in the bed with you too & be apart of what you are doing. She is such a very innocent puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She loves everyone & is so very sweet. She loves being bathed & groomed & tolerates the hairdryer. She absolutely loves you brushing her & will close her eyes & go to sleep while brushing her. You have to get her up to keep going after you have finished brushing her. She would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. She is a puppy & we have not taken her out anywhere. Lily rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home & to & from the vets with us & her loving foster home. Another soul destroying story about a sweet innocent soul & to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. We cannot even begin to imagine what Sofia witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse, how Sofia ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? She actually was there pregnant about to give birth to her babies & they were still going to slaughter her & her unborn babies. What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation she ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Sofia & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Sofia out, her fate was a torturous death. As it was when Sofia arrived we discovered she had a bite missing from her ear that had healed. She transferred Sofia along with many other sweet souls she got well & they waited to come to the US. This is a very extremely expensive situation but we believe every sweet soul such as Sofia & her & friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Sofia is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all her needs. Sofia was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Sofia is the most beautiful soul you will ever meet. She just wants to be loved & is so easy going considering her part life but had to learn what it was like to be in a loving foster home & the normal freedom. At first when she arrived she didn’t know what to do & was very uncertain & shy. Those days are over for Sofia & now she knows she can go wherever she wants. You can find this girl just sitting there taking it all in as she is so grateful. She will just sit there or lay there & watch what you are doing without a care in the world now. We cannot stress enough how lovely Sofia is & deserves the most loving home. This girl is so stunning inside & out & she has come along way since she arrived from China. The reality is she had to learn everything new here. She is so forgiving. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection. She is used to being groomed, baths all of it & is used to it. She adores her foster mum & dad now as they have shown her normalcy & love. When it’s time to eat Sofia gets so excited & will let you know she wants to eat & will stand on her back legs dancing around. In her foster home she eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & different supplements. She is absolutely obsessed with her food now & put on a good amount of weight. She also loves bully sticks & collagen sticks. Sofia is still learning to walk on harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach her how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Sofia is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Sofia adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Sofia & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She is quite a free spirit because she does enjoy going off & doing her own thing or then sometimes she can be found laying at her foster mums feet in the kitchen while she is in there. She will also lay with one of her foster siblings that is a big dog & really enjoys his company. Sofia has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lady. With Sofia we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Sofia where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly he can go with them. Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit too. Sofia is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Sofia has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Sofia new forever home along with another dog friend. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. Sofia is now roughly 9 lbs & is 4 years old & a female miniture poodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is spayed & microchipped, she had her shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. We do not over vaccinate dogs & once they expire we only redo the rabies. Sofia has a patch missing on each side of her bottom from living in a cage but is growing back in beautifully & a small patch on her shoulder from grooming. We have spent far more on Sofia with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs, $1000 alone, bringing her into Seattle, without anything else than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Sofia has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Sofia with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Sofia was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived & had been used for 6 years straight as breeding machines & were used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. The girls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 11 lives including Frankie & Fiona. What’s shocking & truly is a first for us is these girls had just been spayed. How we don’t know because when we got Frankie her spay was clearly infected & was oozing puss & needed medical treatment & antibiotics which of course we took care of. But the girls were just so lovely still. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Frankie & Fiona how they are supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Frankie & Fiona & their friends were bought back to the WA state where they are now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find their new loving devoted forever home together. These 2 beautiful girls from the get go were so extremely sweet & so forgiving of humans. Wow have they come along way. They both arrived freshly shaved down to the skin but now their fur has started to grown back in beautifully. On Frankie she has a patch where perhaps she had a hot spot or & infection that was never treated & has a bit of a patch there but in time should grow in. They both now love a Christmas jumper, spend their days with a beautiful family who have been teaching them what it is to be loved & held. At the end of the day they are both happy for you to pick them up & give them love & stay in your lap or to be playing. They have been so great with very respectful children in their foster home. These girls are very bonded & we would never e er separate them. They will look for each other & are so joyous once they know where the other one is. Frankie & Fiona both foster mums said are so affectionate & jumps at you to pick them up & give you love & kisses & hugs. The reality is, the foster homes are their real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding they can snuggle up in, a roof over their head that’s not outside. Both girls are wonderful eaters & not shy about eating. They are eating a diet clean in their foster home, meaning they ate grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. The girls are so good with their baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. They both adore comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something they did not get to experience ever in 6 years until we rescued them. Both girls have loved everyone they have met. They both have been taught to walk on a harness & leash. Frankie & Fiona both ride in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when they went to be dropped off with the breeder & when we got them & going home with their foster families & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to them though. We are looking for a crate free home for these ladies only. Frankie & Fiona as you can imagine spent the first part of their lives in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Frankie & Fiona where someone is home during the day or they can go with their people wherever possibly they can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Frankie & Fiona are looking for a forever home who will cherish them & love them as they should be loved & be patient with them & never give up on them. UPDATE: Frankie & Fiona were adopted & returned & we were given a reason regarding Frankie’s foot. We have them both back in a loving foster home where they are back on homemade food & thriving & we are getting Frankie weekly laser treatment on her foot. These girls are the nicest sweetest girls. Frankie is on cage rest while getting her laser treatments. Frankie & Fiona have been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in their foster homes & they are currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. So they can go to a forever home with other dogs in the home or just the pair of them together. We will not separate the girls so please do not use ask us too. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory if living in a home. Frankie & Fiona are roughly 15.6 lbs & 11.6 lbs & 6 years old & ‭miniture poodles‬. What they are mixed with we are not sure, female, they are both spayed, microchipped, received all their shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies. Frankie has a heart murmur. They both had dental scale & polish’s & Frankie had 3 premolars & 2 incisors removed. The breeder spayed her & she arrived with her spay oozing puss & needed antibiotics. Fiona had 1 premolar, 1 incisor & 1 intermediate removed. While in the care of a foster home, who they are no longer with. Frankie’s toes were broken on 1 foot, her front foot. How, we truly will never know? We have had Frankie in a splint while her toes are healing & 1 has completely healed & we are waiting on the remaining 3 to heal. Doing 2 laser treatments every single week for 4 weeks Frankie’s bone is now healed. You would never know this happened except a slight limp sometimes & she will randomly hold it up. But again you would never know this happened to her. We also got her acupuncture to help heal her foot. We have spent far more on Frankie & Fiona with getting them from a commercial breeder. Bringing them to WA with their travel costs, their transportation to WA. All of their medical care in WA etc & bringing them to WA than their adoption fee comes close to covering. Their adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Frankie & Fiona. The girls have not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had them around small children & they have done well but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Frankie & Fiona were conceived so we do not know who their parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think their breed is. As with all of our rescues & the girls friends they will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Frankie & Fiona potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting the girls & going through our process and have read their listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. We will only be accepting applications for Frankie & Fiona who understands their needs & that meet all the requirements for these special sweet little ladies. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Frankie & Fiona has a combined adoption fee of $1200 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
