Meet Remy 16 Pounds of Pure Joy Seeks Full-Time Running Buddy & Co-Sleeper! Hello potential best friend! My name is Remy, and I am a one-year-old, 16-pound bundle of dynamic energy, sharp brains, and unconditional love. I am officially neutered, fully up-to-date on all my vaccines, and ready to find my permanent home base. If you are looking for a sidekick who is equal parts athletic champion and expert bedtime cuddler, look no further! My Daily Routine & Favorite ActivitiesI might be on the smaller side, but my heart and my energy levels are absolutely massive! I am looking for an active human who loves to move just as much as I do. My absolute favorite things in the world include:The Need for Speed: I love to run! Whether we are jogging around the neighborhood, hitting a trail, or sprinting in the yard, I am your guy. Toy Time: I am a toy enthusiast. If it squeaks, bounces, or can be fetched, I will happily play with it for hours. Making Best Friends: I am incredibly social. I love every single dog I meet and consider everyone a future playmate. My Special Talents & Treats My foster family tells me I am incredibly smart. I pick up on things super fast and love having a job to do or a puzzle to solve. If you want to teach me some cool new tricks, all you need is a bag of freeze-dried treats. I will do absolute backflips for them! I am highly motivated, eager to please, and ready to show you just how fast a clever guy like me can learn. The Bedtime Routine (My Best Feature)While I am a high-speed athlete by day, I have a very strict rule for the nighttime: I sleep in the big bed with my person. Once the sun goes down and my battery finally hits zero, there is nothing I love more than curling up right next to you under the blankets. I am the ultimate personal space invader in the absolute best way possible. My Ideal Human I would thrive in an active home where I get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. Having another playful dog in the house would be a dream come true, but as long as I get to run and go on adventures, I will be a happy camper. If you think you can keep up with my speed and have a Remy-sized spot under your duvet, please fill out an application today. I'm ready to run right into your heart! Yard required. Another playful dog highly recommended. Adoption Process Application Submission Start by completing our adoption application on our website. Est. DOB: 07/11/2024 Current Weight: 10.5lbs Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Balu is an adorably cute Poodle mix with a sweet personality, lots of energy, and so much love to give. He absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to be by their side. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you around and be your constant little companion. Balu does struggle with separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone is around much of the time or where he can tag along for adventures. He may also love having another resident dog to keep him company. Balu is sweet, friendly, loving, and full of playful energy. He does well with kids and enjoys being around people. When meeting other dogs, he can be unsure at first, so introductions should be slow and thoughtful. If you’re looking for a loving companion who wants to be part of your everyday life, Balu may be your perfect match! Story
Est. DOB: 07/11/2023 Current Weight: 14lbs Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Nordi is a sweet female Poodle mix who is looking for a very special person to help her discover that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. Nordi is extremely shy and cautious, and she needs someone who will be patient and willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She is a quiet girl who would thrive in a calm, peaceful home without young children, where she can take her time building trust and confidence. Nordi may not be the dog who runs up to greet you right away, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, we believe her loving personality will slowly begin to shine. If you're looking for a gentle soul and are willing to give her the time she needs, Nordi could be the special girl you've been waiting for. Story
Ringo had not had an easy beginning. He was once a stray, wandering around all by himself, never knowing where his next meal would come from or where he would sleep at night. Ringo was a little dog with a big heart, but life on the streets had been rough. One day, a kind person found him and brought him to the shelter. At first, Ringo wasn’t quite sure what to think. There were unfamiliar sounds, new smells, and lots of people he didn’t know. But the shelter workers were patient and kind. They gave him food, a soft place to sleep, and, most importantly, lots of love. Ringo is a special little guy—a Schnauzer and Poodle mix with a scruffy coat, bright eyes, and a personality that makes people smile. And oh, does Ringo love to have fun! Once he realized he was safe, his happy side began to shine. He loves bouncing around, exploring, getting attention, and showing everyone just how much personality he has. His tail seems to have a mind of its own, wagging whenever someone comes near. Sometimes Ringo looks around the shelter and watches the families come and go. He wonders if one of them might be his family. But Ringo isn't giving up. He knows that somewhere out there is a person or family who will look into his bright eyes and say, “That's our dog.” Until that day comes, Ringo keeps smiling. He keeps playing. He keeps giving kisses. And he keeps showing everyone that even a dog with a rough beginning can have a very happy ending. All Ringo needs now is a home where he can be loved, spoiled, and reminded every day that he will never be alone again. His past may have been difficult, but his heart is full of hope. And Ringo is waiting. Waiting for his forever family. Waiting for his happily ever after.
