A yard is required! Another playful dog recommended. Meet Remy! Looking for a fun-loving best friend? Remy might be your perfect match! At just 1 year old and 16 pounds, Remy is a happy, energetic pup who loves everyone he meetsboth people and dogs alike. His favorite things include zooming around the yard, playing with his canine friends, and soaking up all the attention he can get. Remy is a smart boy, too! He's fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and already knows a few commands. He's eager to learn even more, especially when treats and praise are involved. Like many young dogs, Remy can get a little mischievous if he's bored. If left without enough exercise or entertainment, he may decide your household items look like fun chew toys! He'll do best with an active family who can keep his mind and body busy. If you're looking for a sweet, playful companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Remy is ready to steal your heart. Could Remy be the missing piece of your family? Est. DOB: 01/25/2024 Current Weight: 18lbs Adoption fee: $400 (per dog) (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Ozzy and Polar Bear are bonded poodle brothers searching for a forever home together. These sweet boys were surrendered when their previous owner felt they were simply too active for their lifestyle. Despite all the recent changes, both boys are settling in and showing their loving personalities more each day. Ozzy is the outgoing, fun-loving brother with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He enjoys attention, loves to play, and is always ready for an adventure or a game with his favorite people. Smart, curious, and energetic, Ozzy thrives with both physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or learning new things, he is happiest when he gets to be part of the action. Polar Bear is the quieter, more shy brother who looks to Ozzy for reassurance and guidance. He tends to follow Ozzy’s lead and gains confidence when his brother is by his side. With patience, love, and a consistent routine, Polar Bear continues to come out of his shell and show his sweet nature. Both boys will need continued potty training reinforcement as they adjust to a new home and routine. They would do best with a family that understands young, active poodles and is committed to providing structure, exercise, and plenty of love. Ozzy and Polar Bear share a special bond and are hoping to find a home where they can continue life’s adventures together. Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home My name is Roy, and I’m a 3-year-old female toy poodle weighing just 3.4kg — a tiny little girl who fits perfectly in your arms. 🐾 I was rescued just before euthanasia after going through a very difficult past. Even so, I didn’t lose my love for people. In fact, I think I love humans even more now. Once I feel safe, I open my heart quickly and naturally want to stay close to my person. In my foster home, I adjusted within just a few days — I’m quite adaptable when I feel secure. Now, I love following my caregivers everywhere, staying close, and being part of their daily life. I’m very affectionate and enjoy being held, cuddled, and right next to someone I trust. 💛 My energy level is medium to low. I enjoy walks and I’m starting to show more playful and curious behaviors, but I’m still a gentle and easygoing little girl overall. I don’t show much interest in other dogs, but I also don’t react fearfully or aggressively — I simply coexist peacefully. I’m already well-trained in my potty habits. I use pee pads indoors for urination, and I prefer to poop during walks outside. I’m also learning to sleep in a crate at night, and I’m becoming more comfortable resting inside it on my own during the day as well. One important thing about me is that I don’t really enjoy being alone for long periods. I feel happiest when I can be close to my people, so a family that is often home or can spend a lot of time with me would be the best fit. I used to vocalize a bit when left alone, but I’ve improved a lot — now I mostly stay calm and just get excited to greet my family when they come back home. I do have a few special care needs. I’m missing some of my upper front teeth, so soft food or wet food mixed meals suit me best. I also may have experienced food insecurity in the past, so I can get quite interested in food. For my safety, food items, trash bins, and anything edible should be kept out of reach. When I’m left alone, I stay safely in a crate where I feel secure and protected. I’m still learning, but I’m doing my best every day. More than anything, I love being loved. With patience, warmth, and consistency, I continue to grow more confident and happy each day. I don’t need a perfect life — I just need someone who will stay close, care for me, and never make me feel alone again. I may be small, but my heart is full of love waiting to be shared. I’m Roy, and I’m waiting for the family who will hold me gently and keep me close forever. 🤍🐾

Our beautiful sweetheart of a soul Bart has been to hell & back & yet he still loves humans. It’s absolutely shocking & disturbing what these dogs endure but they fight for their lives. We cannot even begin to imagine what Bart witnessed & heard when he was at the slaughterhouse. How Bart ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, he was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. He then ended up staying at the rescuers base the whole time until we rescued him. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Bart & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Casper out, his fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Bart & his friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Bart is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Bart was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Bart was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Bart is a very old soul & a funny little chap. He is a wonderful soul inside & out. He is a very gentle patient little chap. He just wants you to love him & he will love you back. He adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in his life to show him such true love & affection except for a brief amount of time. His foster mum said when he wants to go upstairs to bed he does a little dance & talks to you. He is very independent. You can tell him “up” then he will jump up on the chair & sit there with you. When he finds people who love him they become his world. He is a very sweet little guy & transitioned quite quickly even with the change in language. His foster mum & dad said he is just so lovely & so easy going. He is never going to be a pack leader & will follow the other dogs around but is independent as well. He can be the only dog in the home as he likes dogs but just has zero interest in playing with them. He just enjoys doing his own thing. He is smart & picks up on things quickly. He will also want to cuddle in bed with you but you need to pick him up & put him on there. But that being said he can jump high when he wants to. He loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on him. Bart eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. He also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of his treats are homemade Bart has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. He would need continued work walking on his harness & leash. Bart is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Bart adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, baths, the hairdryer he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Bart & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He now loves his toys in his foster home. Bart has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He gets super excited to go for car rides. He is such an amazing, loving little lad. With Bart we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this boy. He does not like crates especially after everything he has been through. We are also looking for a forever home for Bart where someone is home during the day or Bart can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Did we mention this boy loves a good outfit too. Bart is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Bart has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs in his loving foster home. He can be found at times snuggled up to his foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Bart’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Bart is now roughly 14 lbs & 5 years old & a miniture poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is microchipped, neutered, had a full dental with x-rays & we will be getting him another dental. Had his shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Bart with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare paying for his medical care, including, shots, neuter microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Bart has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Bart with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Bart was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Bart friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Bart potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Bart & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Bart who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet boy. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Bart has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
