Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn't want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that's where we came in. Xena's foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! Paxton is a 5 year old male, he will be 6 years old April 10 2026. He loves to play, he loves attention. Needs to be in, kid/baby free home. He’s never been around cats, used to have another dog who passed away a few years ago got along good, so he might do okay with other dogs, but might be best only dog and only pet in home. He loves his dog treats and toys, loves tennis balls. He’s a good dog. I have a 2 year old daughter who he does get jealous of the attention she gets, also we are moving this spring and the apartment does not allow dogs. Hoping someone who is willing to spend time with him, let him sleep inside on the couch or floor. He needs a little bit of training, and would need a harness until he gets used to leash walking. If you have a fenced in backyard that would be best. Hoping Paxton can find his forever home, sad to have to rehome him, but apartment won’t allow dogs. Thank you!!!

This precious soul named MEME found herself on her last day at a rural TN shelter several months back. A foster stepped up to save her life and the time has come for Meme to find her own family. The foster mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness and cannot physically take care of Meme now. We are in a race against time to find Meme a loving new home. Meme is approximately 3.5 years old, fully vetted and spayed. She is full of life and love and adores people of all ages. She has been around children and other dogs and has done fine in any pack so far. Meme would make a wonderful companion and family dog.
