He does great with people and smaller dogs, though he can be a bit enthusiastic during playtime. He’s about 75% leash trained and continuing to improve every day. Murzi is also very clean in his space and will patiently wait to be let outside to do his business. When he’s not playing, he enjoys relaxing on his bed—and of course, mealtime is one of his favorite parts of the day! About:Murzi was found wandering near a medical office, where he had been hanging around for weeks in hopes that someone would feed him. Thankfully, one of our collaborators stepped in to help. Now safe and cared for, Murzi is ready for a loving home—ideally one with space for him to run, play, and spin to his heart’s content. He’s a joyful, loyal companion just waiting for his second chance Murzi is currently waiting in Mexico for a committed adopter to start a 10-day trial, which allows him to make the trip north to his future home. I am house trained and crate trained, love dog beds and toys!I am very smart and know some commands.  I walk well on a leash, get in and out of cars, crate trained and like agility obstacles.   I will do best in a quiet home with another dog or no dog and where someone is always home.  Also need a house with a securely fenced yard.. No apartments! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Calliope is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for a foster or her forever home with us for 3 years! She is an energetic and playful girl and will make her forever family very happy! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is ~4 years old. Calliope is active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. She loves the outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running partner! She would love her very own fenced yard to run and play with her family. Calliope is very sweet and can get over excited, especially in a kennel environment, she will thrive in a home that can provide continued support of basic obedience and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope has been doing great on walks with other dog friends in our care. She is not tested with cats. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.
