Story
We adopted Piper from my uncle when she was 12 weeks, her mother was a pure bred German Wirehair Pointer and her father was a standard poodle - her litter was an accident so they were never papered. Piper is a darling dog, when she is on her own. She is also a bird dog and the number one reason I am looking to rehome is because she can't stop getting my chickens and ducks and I simply can't lose anymore. She has been around kids, but never lived with kids, she simply doesn't know her own size with littles and doesn't know how to respect space with them. Piper needs to go to a home without other pets and preferably someone who is a runner or has a large yard that is fully fenced. She's not a puppy, but I bet she'd be great learning how to be a real bird dog. Also, Piper is a great snuggle buddy and loves nothing more than lounging on the couch. Fun fact - we found out Piper was a hermaphrodite when she was fixed.

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me: · I am the best of both worlds! I love cuddling up in a chair next to my person or zooming around the yard in full play mode.· I love getting out into nature where its quiet and I can be alone with my own thoughts.· I prefer not to live with the feline kind. Or maybe they prefer not to live with me!· I have been working on self-improvement where my manners are concerned.· I still have some puppy energy! I could use some ongoing training to help me grow into the best dog I can be.Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Learn more on our website!

Story
Introducing Sierra Mist and her siblings from The Soda Pop Litter! Against all odds, their courageous mama managed to survive while pregnant, even in the face of danger. Can you believe someone actually threatened to harm her if we didn't help? Thankfully, momma was lucky enough to have been rescued by our team 2 days before giving birth!!!!! Now all of the puppies are ready to find loving homes as of 12/16/2023.  They are a sweet litter of babies and are expected to be very smart and easy to train.  So, what are you waiting for? Take a leap of faith and join us in giving Big Red and her Soda Pop Litter the loving homes they truly deserve. Trust us, this is a journey you won't want to miss out on!  But that's not all - we have some exciting news for all you potential adopters out there. We offer transportation services to various locations every 2 weeks, including the breathtaking Pacific Northwest and the vibrant East Coast. And guess what? For our amazing Canadian friends, we even have a special stop in beautiful Bellingham, WA. How incredible is that? Now, you might be wondering about the adoption and transport fees. Well, worry not! We are curently running an adoption special that includes the adoption and transport fee. All the information you need and our application can be found on our website at www.springbranchrescue.org. If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out an application at https://www.springbranchrescue.org/available-pets.html  ##1883398##
