Story
Name: Emma Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black and White Spotty Weight: 46 LB (21kg) Hello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. On the spot of meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. :D If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llIlTwDg6Q&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzewDjO_YZjw6S8DZTZAgbu ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Colby is a curious, intelligent, social, and energetic dog. He is 8 months old, a mixed breed (Pointer/Hound possibly) I rescued. He knows many basic commands (sit, wait, down, touch, heel, side, and leave it) and walks well on a leash. I sadly have to surrender him because I recently moved to downtown Seattle from a midwestern suburb and cannot provide the life that would make him happiest. Colby needs green space to run and play, and because of his sociability (he's never had any issues with any other pets) he would be successful in a home with other dogs. He is not crate trained but totally housebroken (he never had an accident in the whole time I have had him), as he loves more than anything to come along with you anywhere and everywhere! Colby is an active dog who would thrive in a loving home that can provide exercise everyday - whether as a running, hiking, or walking partner. He loves new adventures and would love to join you on yours!

Story
Get ready to meet the one and only Pigglet—a bundle of pure joy and fluff! This delightful furball is a cuddle expert, dishing out snuggles and kisses like it’s her full-time job. Pigglet is a social butterfly, loving every human and dog she meets. When she’s not busy melting hearts, she’s mastering the art of playtime, her absolute favorite activity! Plus, she’s already crate trained, so she’s pretty much a furry angel. Don’t miss your chance to bring this four-legged joy machine into your life! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home. Many never even had a home and were born on the streets. WE gave them a chance. Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants. There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them. No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you! Thank you for considering adopting and not shop. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Meet Sweet Kermit! Once the tiniest of his litter, Kermit has grown into a bundle of joy you can’t resist. This playful and energetic pup is not only adorable but incredibly smart. He's already crate trained and housebroken, making him a breeze to care for. Kermit’s favorite pastime? Splashing around in the puppy pool and having a blast with his foster brothers. He absolutely adores people and is sure to bring endless love and fun to any family lucky enough to welcome him home. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue?
