WAGS Rescue, Inc About 8 years ago, I was contacted by a breeder who asked if we would consider taking her dogs upon retirement. We came to a verbal agreement and over the years have assisted in getting so many into loving homes so they can live normal lives. Tonight, I’ll be posting some that we feel are social, vetted and ready for the next adventure. It will take Joan Thigpen a day to get them all up on the website. Hei! I'm Gustav... I arrived at Paws and quickly won the ladies hearts. Lets start with the obvious. I'm adorable. Maybe that sounds conceited, but hey - lets call it like I see it. I have a medium length brown coat and a super cute curled tail. I'm a tad more stout than a chihuahua so I don't have that dainty, afraid to play with me body. And I have a killer smile. Like - if I was on TV, I'd be the one with that sparkle off a tooth when I smile. Dazzling I think they call it. However, I am in touch with my feelings. I'm really sweet. I did great with a 7yo girl that came to see me one day. I got to play with her for a little bit. It was so much fun! When you carry me, I like to tuck my head up onto your shoulder. It makes everyone say Awwwwwww and then they shower me with pets and kisses. Yessssss!!! I do have my playful side. I like to explore and go for walks. Kids are great as long as they are polite.
