While he may come in a compact, wrinkled Pug package, Blue clearly didn't get the memo on his size. He carries himself with the athletic spirit and social grace of a retriever, making him the perfect bridge between lap dog luxury and big-dog adventure. Blue is a master of the Lab lifestyle. He possesses a bottomless appetite for snacks, an unwavering devotion to his human pack, and a tail that wiggles with the intensity of a rudder. Unlike your typical sedentary Pug, Blue loves to be in the middle of the action, whether that means supervising a game of fetch or joining the big dogs for a romp in the yard. He has a sturdy, resilient nature and a heart that is far too large for his ribcage. If you are looking for a companion who offers the hilarious charm of a Pug with the loyal, easy-going temperament of a Lab, Blue is ready to join your lineup.Want to adopt this dog? Story
Imagining what Oliver's life was like before rescue is not something I let myself think too hard about. Never knowing a loving touch just wrecks my heart. He is cute, funny, has the best smile, and the biggest personality. He's now been in rescue for 6 months and has made tremendous progress, he still has a long long way to go and I am determined to help him. This profile is a brutally honest progress report for this brave guy!   He wants to engage and does to the extent he is comfortable, which is BIG! In a matter of weeks he was taking treats from my hand and from strangers, is excited to see me, will put his paws on me and lick my hands/face, will work for food, and shows his funny personality. He absolutely loves my dog Rip and will cuddle up next to him. The other dogs in the home have been instrumental for Oliver to watch and learn from and he respects the alpha of the house. He was great with  foster kittens and likes to follow them around and is learning not to chase them.   He is 99% potty trained. I have to go out with him and watch that he is "go potty" and reward him with a "yes, good boy" and treats. He will gladly get out of your way if you walk towards him but will follow so close behind you he'll give you a flat tire. He does sleep through the night with us in bed because laying down is a very non threatening position and I am hoping it builds trust with him. I have gotten a couple harnesses on him but he has Houdini'd his way out of them. In order to get them on I have to throw a blanket over him to be able to pick him up. He is making huge strides in his kennel training when I go to work or leave the house. When I need him to go in there I do have to somewhat corral him with a yoga mat but he is going in there much much easier as we keep practicing.   He loves his toys and shouldn't be left alone with stuff toys because he eats them.  ##2605241##

Story
Daisy is a petite 15-pound female pug with a heart full of love and a whole lot of puppy energy. Found as a stray, it’s clear she’s experiencing the comforts of home life for the first time — and she’s soaking it all in with curiosity, affection, and a playful spirit. This little lady thrives on companionship. She adores snuggling up with her humans, curling into cozy naps on the couch, and playing with her favorite peanut butter-filled Kong. Daisy is also learning fast — she knows how to sit for treats and is doing well with crate training. She’s great in the car and enjoys leashed walks, though she’s still figuring out elevators and prefers to be carried in. Her interactions with children and cats are unknown, but she’s shown a gentle and eager-to-please nature. She can be reactive on leash toward certain people or dogs, but she’s not aggressive — she is till learning how to navigate the world. Because Daisy has separation anxiety, she would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time — ideally a work-from-home setup. She whines and jumps when left alone, and she’s happiest when she can be close to her person. She’s also a bit of a jumper — she can leap onto counters if given the opportunity, so her environment needs to be pug-proofed with tall gates and careful furniture placement. While she gets along with other dogs, in her forever she would do best as the only dog or with a laid back dog that doesn't mind sharing the attention. She is a velcro dog who will give you so much love and affection. She’s a loving, playful, and resilient pup who’s ready to blossom with a patient, committed adopter who can guide her through the joys and challenges of home life. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy with a spark of mischief and a ton of heart, Daisy might just be your perfect match.

Story
Stella/Raspberry is a very sweet and companionable pug mix. We think she may be mixed with a chihuahua or pomeranian, as her nose is extended, she has an adorable underbite, and her fur is so soft and thick. She loves to cuddle her people and snuggles next to anyone for pets as soon as they sit down or just stands in one place for a moment. She walks well on a leash and loves all the people. She does ok with other dogs but does get jealous at times when other animals are getting attention, that is the only time she has growled or barked at our dogs. She isn't food aggressive at all, and has free fed without a problem. She likes mini milk bones or goldfish crackers as a treat. She barks sometimes at other passing dogs or dogs behind fences. She has had fewer and fewer indoor accidents as a result of learning and using the dog door. She's still just barely 1 and likes to play with and chew dog toys, and may find the occasional floor item to chew if something is left out. This little lady gets along SO great with kids. Her other foster mom said she was crate trained, though we haven't found the need. Stella will be a sweet and wonderful addition to her new family! Stella has been fine with other dogs, but only growls when others are getting attention and she is not! She is not aggressive when meeting other dogs on walks. At 1 yrs old, she is just learning the ropes!
