I have tan, brown fur. I`m about 8-weeks old and am expected to be about 30-40lbs when full grown. I am a fun, independent little girl ready to take on the world.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dogs` individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don`t know their background. She's currently working on potty training and is crate trained, but she's the type of girl who likes to do things on Mimi time. While she may not always be the most attentive pup, Mimi enjoys being near her people and can often be found lounging on the back of the couch, quietly keeping an eye on the household. She's still adjusting to her new surroundings and learning what life as a beloved family pet is all about. One thing Mimi is very enthusiastic about? Food! She's highly motivated by people-food and has been known to climb onto chairs and even tables in search of a tasty snack. They found me wandering around Calumet City. Just out there. Alone. I am a tiny girl and the world is big. Bigger when you cannot see it very well. We think I am blind. Or close to it. I am Kano the Puggy Wow Wow! I know, I know that is not how you spell Chihuahua, but I think that I am a Wow Wow Pug! Or rather a “Chug” is the official name of my breed. I am only a little over 4 months old, and 10 pounds so based on those calculations, I should be under 25# when fully grown. Unless you feed me too much, that would be ok with me as I LOVE to eat!! I like to think of myself as a gourmet! I used to have some issues with my breathing and snorting but I recently had a “nose Job” and now my breathing is so great, and my energy is so much that I can now do zoomies around the yard! They also did some snip-snip in the nether regions so I can’t be a daddy puppy anymore but that is ok. If I can breathe better, it is a great trade off! I love kids, dogs, cats, people in general, and am learning to walk on a leash and be a proper little Chug. I am very smart and learn quickly. I taught myself the doggie door within a day of arriving at my foster home and am almost completely housetrained because I let myself in and out when I need to go. If you are looking for a sweet, energetic companion to go with you on walks or snuggle on the sofa at home, here I am!
