We look forward to your response in regards for this delightful gentleman, but when you do, please use our application at sparrowdogs.com, or tell us a bit about yourself please. Meet Otto, he is perhaps a Pugchi, part Pug and part Chihuahua. We think the Pug genes gave him his love for the sedentary life, appetite and some girth. His Chihuahua side of the family tossed in a little bit of spice into that mix and gave him just a dash of attitude. He is a man of leisure. He enjoys a fine meal and a soft bed. He prefers his blankets swirled around his portly frame. Occasionally his face will poke out, just for a sniff, perhaps there is a snack headed his way?? Or...one of the other foster dogs might need his stern guidance if things are getting a little willy nilly. He does not suffer fools lightly.(lol) Well, with that said, that is the reputation Otto tries to uphold. He wouldn't want anyone to know that he really has a fun side, ya know! He can be a little cantankerous on occasion, but all that amounts to is a few grumbles. He wouldn't want to admit it, but he has had a lot of fun running around with the playful dogs in the yard. Even at 8-9 years old, he can be a spunky guy. Otto enjoys spending his time relaxing on a soft bed. He is looking for a more laid back home, and one that will understand that he may need a little time to get to know you. He will do well in a a dog savvy home that understands that it takes time to develop some relationships, and those can be the best ones!! He can be fine with kids, but we think perhaps teens, no little guys. Otto is fine with women, but really prefers men, he would like a buddy to hang around with. Meet Ringo, a 1-year-old English Bulldog/Pug mix weighing about 45lbs. Ringo has had a rough start and is looking for a patient, dedicated home to help him blossom. He is dog friendly and very curious about other dogs, we think it would be very beneficial to have a friendly, confident dog in the home. Ringo can jump or climb any barrier or fence. He cannot be off leash outside at all as he will escape and run away. Ringo is quite nervous and will need a couple meet and greets to get comfortable. Once he is comfortable, he thinks he is a lap dog and will jump onto staff or into their laps. His ideal home would be without kids and in a quieter environment, away from a lot of traffic.If interested in Ringo, please understand he will be foster-to-adopt as he will need time to decompress. We also have a behaviorist we utilize to help with the transition and adjustment.

This is what Tommy’s foster had to say about this lovely boy: “Tommy may have some white hairs, but his heart is pure gold and he’s got a new lease on life! He may move a little slower thanks to a leg injury, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying the simple pleasures—a soft spot on the couch and all the cuddles you can give him. He needs a lift getting up and down, but he’s 100% worth it 🩵 Tommy is the perfect house guest—no accidents, great with routines, and totally chill indoors. But be warned: if there’s a cat litter box in sight, he’ll be in it if you aren’t watching 😅You’ll only hear a bark when he needs to go out earlier than his regularly scheduled potty break. He’s not a fan of stairs, but we’ve got him set up with a ramp, and he’s doing great with it. He loves a car ride, but needs help getting in and out. When it comes to food, Tommy’s a bit of a picky piggy 🐷 Purina Pro Plan beef & rice dry food paired with beef & veggies wet food is his go-to. It’s easy to sneak his daily pill (for his leg pain) into his food. He's friendly with other dogs and cats and is the perfect companion for anyone looking for an easy-going, lovable dog. While he’s not always in the mood for playtime, he does still get zoomies, like to play with his mini tennis ball, and enjoys a good sniff around outside. Tommy is a little stubborn but so full of love. After everything he’s been through, he deserves the very best. If you’re looking for a loving, laid-back buddy, Tommy might just be the perfect match for you!”

Gorda is very loving! She loves hard. She been using her pee pee pad 85% of the time. She walks well on leash. Her resource guarding has only shown one time. We are working on crate training with her as she’s very attached to her people. She is energetic, but also loves to chill on the couch for cuddles. She definitely has a spirited side! While also being content to chew on her toys and relax. Overall she’s been a wonderful dog. She brings so much love, laughs and joy with her. She will make a wonderful addition for someone looking for a dog who will be a devoted companion. Your ultimate bestie. A shadow. A lover.
