His ARF name is Winthrop, but the name he knows is Winston. If you are still interested, please read more below. Winston is a loving dog who looks like a puppy but is really a 9-year-old handsome fella! He has a very sweet temperament and loves people. He loves leisurely walks and will sniff the ground beagle style for as long as he is allowed! He is housebroken and used to be alone every day. He is used to living with a loving human who walks him in the AM and PM and having a visit from a dog walker one time during the day. Winston is not great with other dogs but can usually be diverted when out for a walk. Winston’s perfect home would be one looking for a special companion. He would be fine with a single person. He would also function well with a house full of kids as he began life with a family of 5 children and lots of activity. This distinguished gentleman is looking for a home where he can live out the rest of his years and in return he will love you with all his heart. Paloma! Paloma is a petite dark brindle female pug, approximately 1-1.5 years old. She was surrendered just before Christmas, after her original owner died suddenly. She is very friendly, happy, and BUSY! Like all pugs, she loves everyone & everything 2- and 4-legged, of all ages & sizes. She is a parkour expert, but give her enough to occupy her on the ground & she is less prone to jump/climb & explore. A little bit of a diva, if she doesn’t get what she wants, when she wants it (particularly her meal or to be let out of her crate when she has finished eating), she will serenade you with pug screams, the song of her people! Housebreaking was an unknown entity to Paloma before she came into foster, so it is a work in progress. This little girl will steal your heart with her toothy grin & welcoming full body wriggles. Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun.
