Story
Look at this little face. Lily is as sweet as she is cute. She's about 2 years old and found her world turned upside down when her owner passed away, leaving behind 7 dogs. Family and friends took in 4 of the 7, and Lily and 2 others came into our rescue. Understandably confused, it took a few days for Lily to warm up. She bonds easily, is house trained, and a joy to be around. She can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and as such we will only consider homes with older children. Lily is getting spayed on 4/9. She'll be brought current on core vaccines and microchipped. We would love to find a home for Lily where someone is home more often. A fenced yard is required.   Interested in adopting me?  To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 Paws.  Please note: we generally do not adopt out of state (NJ).  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2026, 3:11 pm

Story
Meet Daisy! Daisy is a 17-pound, 8-year-old pug who is super lovable and looking for her furr-ever home! She is doing well with pad training and learned very quickly. She warms up to new people fast, is very dog friendly and has made friends with every dog she’s met. Her energy level is medium, she enjoys cuddling and a good nap but has the occasional zoomies. She loves going for walks and exploring outside but the key to her heart is a good meal as she loves food. A total sweet heart who enjoys attention and is looking for a home where she can get all the love and affection she deserves! She is an explorer who likes to see what’s around and will be your shadow, following you around your home. Daisy is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY and her adoption fee is $550. "To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal."

Story
Meet Pugsley! Pugsley is a 1-year-old, 27-pound puggle who is gentle, playful, and friendly! He is dog- and human-friendly and warms to you in no time. He will be a wonderful fit for anyone looking for a loving companion, including first-time owners. Pugsley is crate trained and he sleeps through the entire night in his crate soundly. He is also house trained and has had no accidents since the first day. On top of that, he is very smart and quickly learned to respect boundaries, making him a perfect little guest in his foster home as he listens to his humans very well. Pugsley is adjusting incredibly well to his new environment quickly despite the loud city noises. He is very friendly to people he meets and loves lying down to get a good belly rub! Pugsley is medium energy and enjoys going for a stroll in the park, and loves playing fetch. When he is tried, he just wants to snuggle next to his humans. If you're looking for a gentle, loving, and affectionate dog who just wants to be with his humans all the time, he might be your perfect match. Pugsley is currently being fostered in Manhattan, NY and his adoption fee is $475. Story
Meet Fig, a 1.5 year old 13 lb Chihuahua Pug mix with a huge love for playtime! His foster mom describes him in three words: Loving. Energetic. Curious. Fig absolutely loves other dogs and truly shines in play. Wrestling, chasing, running, and zooming around with dog friends are some of his favorite things in the world. He’s also a big toy lover and is always ready for a game. He absolutely needs another dog in the home, to help him get out all his zoomies and thrive! When playtime is over, Fig is all about snuggles and naps with his people. He loves being close, enjoys belly rubs, and happily relaxes indoors. He can be a little nervous around cars and loud city noises on walks, but he gets braver every day with routine and reassurance. Another dog also really helps with building his confidence.  Fig also has a minor cleft nose and lip, which does not impact his life at all and requires no special care. ##2581080##
