Look at this little face. Lily is as sweet as she is cute. She's about 2 years old and found her world turned upside down when her owner passed away, leaving behind 7 dogs. Family and friends took in 4 of the 7, and Lily and 2 others came into our rescue. Understandably confused, it took a few days for Lily to warm up. She bonds easily, is house trained, and a joy to be around. She can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and as such we will only consider homes with older children. Lily is getting spayed on 4/9. She'll be brought current on core vaccines and microchipped. We would love to find a home for Lily where someone is home more often. A fenced yard is required. Rose is estimated to be about 5 years old, and she is truly one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. She is the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved—a devoted people dog whose happiest moments are spent close to her person, soaking up affection and giving it right back. Rose’s life changed in an instant when her owner passed away, leaving behind seven dogs. While family and friends were able to take in four of them, Rose and two others came into our rescue. After losing the person she knew and loved, Rose is looking for a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family again. Rose would do best in a home where someone is around more often, because being with her people is truly what she loves most. A fenced yard is also required for her. She is current on core vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Rose came to us with double cherry eye and has already had surgery to correct it. One eye healed beautifully, while the other will need an additional surgery. We would love nothing more than for Rose to have a forever home waiting for her when she has fully recovered. Rose is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats and gets along well with them. Adoptable Roscoe 🐾 If you’re looking for a dog who is essentially a tiny, vibrating ball of pure happiness, look no further. This handsome guy was found as a stray, but he doesn’t seem to care one bit! The Stats: Age: Our best guess is around 1 year old. Breed: Your guess is as good as ours, but we’re seeing some Pug/Chihuahua vibes. Size: he’s around 15–20 lbs but on the lean side. Signature Look: A very charming, very prominent underbite. He might not be “traditional” pageant material, but he is a 10/10 in the personality department. The Personality: This boy is pure “joy.” He is super funny, always on the move, and looking for a more active household. If you’re a couch potato, he might be a bit much for you- he wants to be where the action is! He is a total social butterfly and hasn’t met a stranger yet. He loves other dogs big and small! In fact, he is currently obsessed with his 90 lb German Shepherd foster brother. He clearly has no idea how small he is. He had no idea what toys are and he doesn’t really seem to know how to engage in proper play with other dogs (he is a humper) but he is learning! All the dogs in his foster home are super playful, patient and tolerant of awkward doggies and are helping him learn- so any new resident dogs should also be the same. While he has not been exposed to kids or cats, we think he can adapt with boundaries in place! The Good Boy Report: Potty Training: Doing amazing! No accidents in the house so far. Crate Training: Currently a work in progress, but he’s putting in the effort. Chucky is the sweetest girl dog you could ever meet. She is calm, gentle, and full of quiet love. She is very attentive and affectionate, and once she warms up to you, she becomes incredibly loyal and deeply bonded. She loves to cuddle and be close to her person. She enjoys being loved and returns that love in her own soft, steady way. Chucky also enjoys being out and about—she likes the city, trains, shopping trips, and discovering new places. She is good with other dogs, especially if they are spayed or neutered. She is not aggressive or overly hyper. She rarely barks—only occasionally if someone comes to the door. She enjoys her food, likes her rest, and is very patient while waiting for you to come home. Chucky is pee-pad trained. She does have occasional accidents if her routine is disrupted, but otherwise she does very well when she has structure and consistency. She has been with us for a while and needed time to adjust, but once she feels safe, her personality truly shines. She does need someone who will take proper care of her and gently take charge in a calm, confident way to help her get used to you. Building trust with her may take some time, but it is worth it. Someone brought her to the shelter dehydrated starved and pregnant where she couldn’t even stand. Unfortunately she lost all her babies and an emergency spay was performed so she could begin to heal. She was just so sick. Slowly she started to recover, gain weight and now she is an active loving girl that gets along with dogs and all people. She may have Frenchie , maybe Boston maybe some bulldog. We don’t know but she is a cute girl with a pushed in face with a tail. She does have an issue with eating too fast and drinking too fast, we use a slow feeder but still sometimes she will throw her food up. She was seen by a vet and they did xrays, they feel her throat is very narrow which is the cause. She gets very excited when eating and then runs around and her food will come back up. If you can keep her calm and give her smaller meals she does really well with keeping her food down. She is considered a special needs dog but she is wonderful,happy, and a great dogs. When she does calm down she just lays around the house and is calm, she just needs a real home and family to call her own. She is medium size, about 30lbs and solid. Not longer useful to the breeder and given up. We just recently got her spayed and we are now working on an eye surgery as she has a condition called entropion which is scheduled this month. She loves her crate and is always in it with the door open as that is her safe and comfy place. she is housebroken but you have to push her outside. She just started to like to go outside.
