Kendra is one of five puppies born to Josie. She and her siblings have been in foster care since birth and are highly social. Kendra and her brother Kyle have a more wirey hair look to them that they get from Mom it appears, while the other 3 look more pug mix. Mom is only about 10 pounds. She's been around other dogs and got along great (no cat experience). Kendra up to date on core vaccines (Rabies, DAPP, Bordatella). Kendra has been spayed and is about 8 months old as of the end of December. She's been at numerous events and did well with adults and children. Kendra is an active little girl, and loves having a fenced yard, so a fenced yard is a requirement for her. She can be a digger and should never be left alone outside. Interested in adopting me? Meet Helix, a 1 year old, 13 lb Chihuahua Pug mix! Foster mom describes him best in 3 words: Loving. Energetic. Curious. He’s always ready for naps and snuggles, with some charming bursts of zoomies, and very proudly passionate about his toys (and yes, socks made the VIP list… but he’s working on his sock chewing PhD ) Helix adores being near his people, loves gentle rubs, and finds comfort in the indoors where he can truly relax. He happily snuggles up for naps, self entertains with his favorite dog toys, and once comfortable, hilariously unleashes spurts of zoomie magic that keep his foster mom smiling daily. He enjoys meeting other dogs, greets them with polite sniffs, and will gleefully run around with them when invited. Helix thrives on routine and gentle reassurance. The sounds of city life can feel a little big sometimes, so cars and loud noises might spook him on walks but he gets braver every day. Hd does have a minor cleft (think: a tiny cleft nose and cleft lip, not a full cleft palate), and the best news is it doesn’t impact his life at all! Pugsley is a very sweet and special boy! Our miracle He is recovering really well in foster care after a scary bout of seizures. Pugsley loves all food, and a pal to lay with on the couch. He is quiet and crate trained. Pugsley is fully potty trained however needs some patience as he readjusts after his medical event. She’s a bit weary of the busy NYC streets and not yet fully leash-trained, so for now she feels safest inside. Someone brought her to the shelter dehydrated starved and pregnant where she couldn’t even stand . Unfortunately she lost all her babies and an emergency spay was performed so she could begin to heal. She was just so sick. Slowly she started to recover , gain weight and now she is an active loving girl that gets along with dogs and all people. She may have Frenchie , maybe Boston maybe some bulldog. Not longer useful to the breeder and given up. We just recently got her spayed and we are now working on an eye surgery as she has a condition called entropion which is scheduled this month. She loves her crate and is always in it with the door open as that is her safe and comfy place. she is housebroken but you have to push her outside. She just started to like to go outside.
