He is a semi energetic dog that love humans and likes other dogs his size (esp his Chi foster brother s/sisters) and LOVES humans (esp snuggling on human couch or human bed). He is part of a bonded pair with his Yorkie mix brother Micah. He loves dog beds, doggie blankets, dog harnesses and clothes. He is a great companion for active person or just retired couple with a securely fenced yard that like small dogs.. He will be okay with small dog polite children (over 8 yrs of age) or no children. Small dog experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He likes walks and car rides L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. Roscoe is a fun, lovable, young guy looking for people committed to him for life! He is very affectionate and lovable and he's great with other dogs, especially if they like to play a bit harder and wrestle. He looks like a chihuahua, and rat terrier so may have either or both in his gene pool. Darling little tri color regardless!!! He's making progress with his housetraining as long as he gets fairly regular trips outside. When he came in, he religiously soiled in this crate and we believe someone got him as a baby who worked full time and thought a baby would just self train while being crated for 10 hours a day. That just makes them believe the crate is their toilet. So he may do better with someone who just doesn't believe in crating a dog. He loves toys, play time and giving or receiving affection. Who's looking for a doll like Roscoe? Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented. This girl just wants to have fun! She is a bit higher energy and would love room to move and a friend that matches her energy (or someone willing to play with her)! She currently lives with 4 other dogs, a cat, chickens, pigs, budgies, and a bearded dragon. She’d do best with a dog savvy cat and further training with other animals cause she will want to play with them. She’s not what I’d call a lapdog, but loves to please, and is affectionate. Definitely trainable and pretty darn smart. She is a follower and will take behavioral cues from the other dogs she lives with. She’s working on not jumping up and not being reactive to people/noises at home (she’s not reactive on walks or in public). She goes into her crate with treats. Walks well on a leash and we’re working on gaining confidence on walks. She’s young, spunky and worth it!
